Fuck off UK and Germany.

Switzerland and Czechoslovakia
>>
what about Latvia anon?
>>
Switzerland, Serbia and Austria, Italy also has pretty decent laws
For CC And such there's Estonia and Czechoslovakia
Then there's Liechtenstein and San Marino that might have even better, but those are just rumors because nobody knows about their laws

Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Serbia, Belgium, Czechland.

Given these are considered "good" by European standards, it's all shit-tier compared to the free states of the US. (NJ, NY, CA, MA, and IL need not apply.)
>>
>>27801416
New Zealand actually lets you have pretty much what ever you want, MG license is actually must issue so there's that.

And the cost of living isn't insane like it is in Sweden but if you have a good college education, it's quite easy to make shit tons of dosh there.

>>

You can own a handgun for target shooting, historical collecting and self defence in Northern Ireland but it is a restrictive may issue policy for self defence, you basicly have to prove that you are under threat of attacks from terrorists or organised criminals before they give you a firearms certificate for self defence (which also lets you carry concealed).
Isle of Mann and Channel Islands allow handgun ownership for target shooting and historical collecting only.
Legal handgun ownership in England, Scotland and Wales has been impossible since 1997.
>>
>>27809836
I'm interested too
Are they like Estonia on gun laws?
>>
>>27810493
>has been impossible
Not exactly, you can still get them for humane dispatch when hunting, but it's incredibly difficult i think. Also there is a section in the law that says you can own one as long as it's kept at a range, but i've never heared of anyone actually doing it.
>>
>>27801463
Swissfag here.
I have read through Liechtenstein's gun laws. They're lifted verbatim from ours, but they have some handy forms for exception permits that we don't.

So yeah, marginally better.
>>
>>27804427
yeah...yes
collector's license=full auto guns
also- unrestricted suppressors, no SBR/SBS laws
there are big downsides tho such as a limit of guns you can own, a rather annoying process of actually getting a license and prices of some types of guns combined with aviability of guns
>>
>>27810520
Yes are are some very narrow and rare exceptions to the rule. Vets and hunters can get special dispensation to have single shot pistols (usually a .38 special or .357 magnum revolver with all the chambers filled in except one) for humane slaughter purposes.
Black powder, non-cartridge using handguns like cap and ball revolvers are allowed for target shooting and historical collecting and there is section 7.3 which is what you are refuring too. This guys discusses it here and explains why it's not really a "work around" of the shitty handgun ban.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKhcTd9qVYc
I suppose it would be more accurate for me to say that it's impossible for any normal person with a firearms certificate to own a handgun.
>>
>>27801463
>italy

Italy is fucking retarded. Any and all calibers in use by any military are explicitly prohibited. The most common handgun cartridge is the 9x21mm, or 9mm IMI, as a result.

Its actually not that hard as you'd imagine. Sure there are steps but if you meet all the requirements police MUST give you the license.
Hunter's license its probably the easiest to get but it only allows you to own guns with magazines up to 5 bullets and some other dumb shit. You need to join a hunting club and build deer stands for a year (or something along those lines)
Sporting license is basically a regular one, all semi autos, no mag restrictions and that dumb shit, but as always you need to justify the number of guns you will own (you need to say how many guns you plan to own and say why you want that many). You need to join a sport shooters club and attend competitions like twice or 3 times per year every year IIRC
Collector's is sporting license+full autos. You need to join a collectors club and some other shit. You can create a collectors club with your friends if you dont want to join any already existing ones. Probably the most fun option in the long run. I dont remember if you need to go to competition shoots to maintain the license, but you probably do.
You can't carry firearms on you for self defense unless you're like a politician or an otherwise very important person and have a solid reason to carry them (gang threats and other extreme things)
>>
>>27803812
Belgium is... A-okay, shall we say.

You can get guns, all right, but there's a lot of hassle involved both before and while owning them, and the Governor('s administration) or the local police chief can refuse your application on basis of "None of that shit in my turf!" grounds.

Which fucking hurts when you get a anti-gun put in place.
>>
>>27801416
Serbia and Finland.
>>
>>27810897
Okay. Finland has no restrictions for weapons or capacity you can buy with a hunting justification, and there is no limit on the number of guns you can own. You don't need to join a club, but you will need to clarify where you are planning to hunt.
For a sporting license, you don't need to join any clubs, you just need to shoot semi-regularly, you don't need to compete and there are again no limits on the number of guns you can have.
Finnish collectors don't have to join any clubs, but they do need to present a theme of the collection when applying for the license - such as weapons used during the Rhodesian Bush War or firearms used by the Finnish police.

To own guns in general?

>Switzerland

There's no other country in Europe that lets you own legal guns as easily as in Switzerland. In Switzerland you can buy a K31 privately with just your ID and nothing more.

There's no training necessary, no shit ton of bureaucracy, no psychological tests or any tests of any kind.

To own guns for CC

>Czech republic
>>
>>27812218
Well, we have no import restrictions so technically you can get anything you want so long as the seller can legally send it to you.

Ammo is okayish I guess. Factory 9x19 is around 20 cents per round and 7.62x39 is about the same.

I haven't seen many FALs around finnish sites except for one with a funswitch that cost 1800 eur that apparently sold since I can't find it anymore.

Well, you can't really get suppressors in Poland. The laws regarding to suppressors are written in really stupid way, most people assume they are banned, but when read the act carefully it doesn't say you can't own a suppressor. But then again, I asked about suppressors in gun shops and they always tell me that they are banned...

Also you can carry with sporting licence.

>>
>>27810897
As of March 2015, you can concealed carry with sporting license.

The twice-three times a year shooting is basically 'do 3 competitions in your first weapon, and 2 for each next' (rifle/pistol/shotgun). That can easily be done on a single weekend.

So, single weekend, every year sets you up for a permit.

Okay, first off: I'm Swiss, not Liechtenstein...ian(?)

You can CC in Liechtenstein if you are in direct and concrete danger or if your job absolutely requires it. So unless you work as a bodyguard or somesuch or have received serious death threats recently, forget it.

And yeah, the entire gun law, including WES, is lifted verbatim from Swiss laws. Liechtenstein has very few laws that it hasn't just copied from Switzerland - they're basically a slightly more autonomous 27th canton anyway.

What sets them apart is the nice exception permit request form. I'm rather sure this doesn't exist in Switzerland (and if it does imma need a link for... educational purposes)
