I think it's safe to assume Syria is no longer viable, but Russian troops could be used to secure a viable Pro-Assad nation carved out of it. It'll take a bit of ethnic cleansing, but it should be doable. The other bits of Syria will have to fend for themselves.

5 star here , what happened in Morek last night is becoming a bit more clear. After Jaf took it over late yesterday there was a battle in the city overnight.

Pro SAA sources said it was a counter attack while pro rebel sources say now it was a group of shia militia left behind after the initial retreat. They are implying it was some sort of last stand by trapped regime forces. This is pro rebel sources vs pro SAA sources so take that into account. Whatever the case was rebels still claim control of the city this morning.

On the right side, Tell Sukayk, Umm Haratayn and Atshan have all fallen in the last 24 hours.
The fight is now for Ma'an. Some hill outside is captured (dont know if its the Tall Sawan on that map), some sources speak about battles in the streets, but nothing confirmed.

If the whole right flank of the frontline collapses, then it could get really dangerous for Souran, especially since rebels are said to approching it directly from the north as well. Souran should not, under any circumstances fall.

5 star here, it's been really quiet since the rebel offensive in Hama slowed down and even the SAAs southern Aleppo offensive has been quiet today other than one infiltration attempt. The only current news is heavy bombing in Douma.

I got a feeling something big is going to happen either tomorrow or the next day. Anytime there is a lull in the fighting like clockwork one of the major groups is planning something big. We'll just have to wait and see.
