Still 'sharpening' your knife? Well, don't let

There's a difference between sharpening and honing.
The average person will not remove enough metal to alter the geometry in their lifetime.
A new knife is $50 anyway.

well, these are benchmades, so $80+, have great customer service and will put an entire new blae for $30-$40.
anyway the honing/stropping crap:it's true what you say,always recommend to strop your knife,instead of letting it get dull and than resharpen it

Its takes forever to get a blade to nothingness unless you sharpen it with a belt sander.
I im using the pocket knife of my grandfather and you only see a little curvature even though it has been used ans sharpened millions of times.
