Nah, it's quite simple if you're skipping the "mandatory" tests. Just turn on the electrical systems and fuel pump, set engine feed to norm, then hit the jet starter and move the throttle to the idle position.

Vision requirements are 20/40 correctable to 20/20.

LASIK and PRK are approved corrective surgeries for the navy and air force, and waivers are fairly easy to come by for those surgeries.

My old foreman has a nephew thats a pilot for the navy, you have to be a goddamn genius to get into those programs. Plus its alot of classroom. I mean a metric fuck ton of classroom before you even get inside a plane
