bug out for what? If a war comes to your city? If you need to survive long term your kit should include a bow or crossbow. everlasting ammo basically. Or if you are in the uk, which it sounds like since u said sas manual, a pellet gun for rabbits and other small animals u can eat.

>BOB Thread

Remember the #1 cause of death in the outdoors is hypothermia. Realistically at a bare minimum we should have extra winter hats, gloves, socks, jacket and a wool blanket. Much more important than all the knives, MREs, water filters, cooking gear and other crap.

For food, a few power bars are fine. Anything more than that is camping.

For water, chlor-floc tablets are effective against 100% of the same pathogens as filters, and they take up less weight and space. Also, a container that is capable of boiling water if necessary.

Knives, a large fixed knife capable of splitting kindling (KA-BAR), plus the knife on your leatherman. No more is needed.

Fire, firesteel and a bic lighter. No matches. I also have a survival whistle with dryer lint stuffed inside the waterproof comparment.

I think most important part of the BOB is keeping it assembled and RTG at all times, or even having a few of them in different locations. That means you can't pack your fancy innawoods shit in them unless you have money to burn. Everything inside has to be dedicated SHTF items. If that means buying used or inexpensive stuff then so be it. I'd rather have a BOB with shitty quality gear ready to go than one with contents that are always strewn around being used for other stuff.

I think Lady Boy River Rock is probably a colloquialism for something along the lines of:
Girly man cries at flaccid muscle

Or

Shamelessly washes panties in public fountain.

Something like that. I have to remember to save these pics. Endless possibilities here.

Children, LBRR says eat all your veggies so you can grow up to be as potato as he is some day.

Yeah. I can work with this. The face is what makes it. That's totally a LBRR face.

Since I can't be assed to actually drag all my shit out, I recreated it on innawoods.

The water jug represents my camelbak.
First Aid pack contains gauze, bandages, alcohol, Excedrin, Aleve, and several tubes of an antibiotic ointment.
The potato bag next to the tent represents a fleece blanket.
Coat being worn is an M65 with a thick/winter liner in it.
Gas mask is 3M that accepts 40mm filters.
Not pictured: Cot (because I'm not sleeping on the fucking ground), whatever hat I decide to grab should SHTF.
