Idea for WMD: Weaponized lice
> Gather a shit ton of lice
> unleash on person with aids
> keep those lice and unleash on enimies. By giving them aids lice, they will die. eventually.
>>34230251
Won't work for the same reason mosquitoes don't carry the AIDS. They're body temp is too low, and the virus dies within a few hours
>>34230301
thats ok, the squitos can transmit plenty of other blood-borne diseases
How retarded is this gun?
a lot of fantasy scifi things end up being precursors to possible future prototypes, not just gun related. except this idea is kinda retarded outside of a vydia
>>34229883
Are there two chambers?
How does the gun in the back shoot through the chamber of the gun in the front when they're combined into a rifle?
If the mag is fed in through the back, where is the gun in the front getting ammo from when it's detached?
If there are two triggers, what happens if you pull them both at once when the guns are combined?
When detached, the front gun no longer has a stock and the back gun does not have a sight, so why are they being held in the same position?
It's not completely impossible if it's like a pair of railguns or something, so when the things are put together, you have a gun that takes a projectile from the back section's magazine and sends it down the barrels of two guns so it goes faster.
It's also not impossible with chemical propellants, provided you're using caseless ammo and you have separate feeding mechanisms for the propellant block and the projectile. You could also make it so that a propellant block from the front section magazine can be fired at just the right time to accelerate the projectile some more, but I don't think the muzzle energy gains would be worth the weight and complexity and the massive pain in the ass reloading becomes.
However, unless it is a railgun and/or you're fighting a zillion small animals AND a few man-sized ones in confined spaces, I can't imagine why you would want to carry that thing as your main gun. Way heavier than a gun that's basically just the back section with a longer barrel.
The sights on that gun, however, are shit.
I'm looking into buying a recurve to practice and fuck around with. What are some good brands and things to look for?
I'm going to get a left handed bow to practice the Lars Anderson style of shooting
What does /k/ think about having a 5 round snuby for cc with no speed loader?
better than nothing
>>34229181
Pretty much the bare minimum for CC honestly.
Not bad, but far from ideal in almost every respect.
Its fine.
Does anyone want to buy me this?

So there was this guy, lets call him Bob, who lived in Washington DC. When DC partially unclenched its ass hole and allowed SOME gun sales, Bob goes looking for a firearm and an FFL dealer to transfer it to. His research got him 3 phone numbers. He called each one to see if they did transfers. One was a real deal gun store, or at least as real deal as you can get in DC. He was backlogged, no transfers. The next one was a guy who rented guns for movies and TV, he didn't do transfers. The last one, Bob got as far as "Do you perform FFL transfers?" when the guy on the other end hung up on him. Bob called a friend of his, lets call him Dave, and told Dave what had happened. Dave said something like "That last guy was an asshole, what was the name of his business?" Bob said "Its just his name on the FFL, Joe Mama." Dave blows up because Joe Mama is a very public anti-gun nutcase that Dave has actually butted heads with, like banned from his Facebook and Twitter. DAve files FOIA for Joe's FFL paperwork, and its some kind of bull shit story disguised as an FFL. I can't remember Joe, Dave, or Bob's real names or where on the internet i heard this story, could someone help me out? Pic not related, but who wouldn't want a .500 S&W lever action rifle?
nevermind, i found it! It sort of strays into /pol/ territory, but if you want to read it here it is

Hello.
>they're P51s, sir, Tank Busters
What did he mean by this?
They're P51 designed for use as ATG attack planes to stop heavy ground vehicles like Tanks, APCs and your mom
>>34228920
>fpbp
>>34228920
>P51s used for ground attack
Oh. You mean the A-36?
>No stupid finger grooves
>Simple and comfortable frame
>Not overpriced
Why does Cold Steel get so much hate?
For the exact same reasons as when you posted the exact same question three days ago.
>>34228583
They started out as kindof a gimmicky cheapo company that people dindt take seriously
But today theyre generally just selling overpriced factory made stuff that is targetted at people who really dont understand what theyre looking for. Other companies make the same products with better steel and better mechanical parts for less, cold steel mass produces all the wonky obsolete designs that other companies dont but thats about it.
You cant buy a bechmade chinese war sword, but benchmade working knife folders are probably the better money spent

Like the BT-7 or the German 'Storch'. They seem like cool things to keep around and show off.
>>34228409
Yes
I was thinking about one day(sometime in the far future) being able to easily build full-size accurate replicas of WW2 aircraft once such manufacturing tech becomes available and cheap enough to make it feasible.
>>34228471
Good luck, but the market is tiny.
Most people looking to buy millitary aircraft want the real thing.
They are also few and far between.
But, there are two WWII planes still in quasi production. The piper cub and the storch.
The storch (besides a small production run in the 70s) is only built at a 3/4 scale
Is the Football War the most /k/ war?
>WW2 equipment
>Murphy's Law everywhery
>all sorts of ad hoc improvisation
Hey /k/, can I get some help on identifying this 1911? Me and my grandpa found it. It has Remington stamp on the side with the UMC circle, and it says 1911 and 1913 on the slide, I'm retarded when it comes to 1911's so I don't know what else to look for how to find out if it was military used.
>>34228338
It's a Mk.III Doorstop.
>>34228367
Mk. III? What's that, all I can find is airsoft shit when I look it up
Okay, so I'm having trouble deciding between a shotgun and a .22 rifle for my next gun. Either one would be only like 200 dollars, just something cheap that shoots. I was thinking a maverick 88 or a Savage .22. which one makes more sense to buy?
Do you want to blast bigger holes in shit, or poke lil' holes in shit?
Home defense?
Hunting?
Plinking?
Range gun?
And remember, a thread died for this.
Marlin model 60. Can't go wrong.
>>34228305
I want to blast stuff way more than plink but the small caliber would be cheaper. I want the one that would be way more fun which I think would be the 12 gauge.
