So I was watching someone beat a hi-point to shit on youtube, and it inspired me. I bought one of these at my local dollar tree to see what it can take. Any suggestions on what I should do to prove its worth? It seems perfect for a poor college fag like myself because it's the closest thing I can have to a weapon on me or in my apartment, and I can walk 2 blocks to buy a box of new ones. It'll be competing with my heavy ass buck 110 for edc.

bought a gen 3 steyr M9-A1 from ohio southern guns (lol). went through 500 rounds and had about 50 light primer strikes. went home and took apart the firing pin, cleaned off the brown factory oil and relubed it, and next month had no failures so far. (still dont 100% trust it yet)
TLDR BUY THE GEN 4 NOT GEN 3
