Listen, the Sea-Pyramid™ doesn't look pretty because its not there to awe you. You're supposed to fear it and respect it when it floats into your port to demand its tithe of sailors and small boats to consume. Else you face its wrath.

Can submarines fire heat-seeking missiles?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q1PW6yztpg
>>34469529
they can fire nukes and ejaculate angry frogmen but for some reason you think they can't fire heat seeking missiles?
>>34469529
Some Soviet subs could launch a Strela from a mast to kill MPA aircraft.
>>34469532
Aren't heatseekers normally for killing aircraft? Why would a submarine need anti-air capability?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INS_Vikramaditya
So 13 years ago the Indians bought a barely-used commie aircraft carrier for a bit over $2bn and turned it into a decent STOBAR carrier. Was it a good deal at the end of the day or should they have just waited to buy a newish one from China/Russia when they get made in a few years?
>>34469428
Russia will never build a new carrier and India and China aren't friends.
They got ripped off re-fitting Vikramaditya. The only other option would have been to do it themselves, which despite >Indians may have actually have been a better idea given how badly the Russians took them for a ride.
>>34469428
>only way to tell it apart from Kuznetsov is that India can't even afford to have the planes for it

and, of course, the lack of... well...
Need some advice from actual operators
A. if your boots get full of blood, how do you clean them?
I'm still on the march and after three days my boots absolutely reek, it's attracting swarms of insects and leeches and I genuinely think the smell is bad enough that it could give away my position.
part of the problem is I still have to march in them, filling them full of water would likely result in my feet swelling up and possibly trench foot. I would have no opportunity to dry them either.
B. how do you calculate the water and nutrition loss from severe diarrhea?
I know I'm loosing a lot of water, but I need to know how much because it effects the amount of water I need to carry, and that has a really big impact on my carry weight.
C. how do you get through dense bamboo?
the stuff is a motherfucker, splinters and cuts you deeply, too hard to just hack out of the way, and even if you do the "stumps" are very hard to walk over.
we tried climbing midway through them which was MUCH faster, but it was noisy as fuck and you could probably see the canopy move for miles
not just that we would get a mans pack forked between two every now and then that would take two extra men to get him unstuck.
The river bamboo is OK, it's the mid-altitude stuff that is getting us
>just avoid all bamboo
yea and we'd avoid all leeches, steep hills, and monsoons if we could too
D. is sand a contamination threat to open fleshwounds
the guys have been arguing about it, some say it's as good as a bandaid and is sterile, some guys say it's dirty as fuck.
if it were me I'd just let most things bleed, but I don't want to get an infection because I'd have to stop drinking liquor
E. can you make sedatives from alkaloid containing plants?
I am increasingly feeling the effects of chroic fatigue because I'm unable to rest at night, in transit, or a range of other situations.
we've got more opium poppies than you could poke a stick at, and a slew of jungle plants the villagers tell me are alkaloids
>>34469396
sorry OP here
i also need a good source of 454 brass for my converted MP5
>>34469396

>>34469430
what you don't operate?
don't judge me and my brothers based on your lack of experience civilian. You can sleep safely in your bed because men like me are fighting for your freedom
how do i get some BIG operator forearms like pic related?
>>34469368
curls, sledge hammer and rope drills and etc drills!
also some steroids and rip-its
I got pretty swole forearms from jerking off too much, shooting pistols 500+ rounds a week and hitting the driving range for an hour a day. But I assume there's a more cost-effective way.
Be a mechanic for a few years
So outside of the USA, where does a sort of rich but not large country (e.g. Norway I suppose) buy it's frigates and destroyers from if it can't make it's own?
>>34469106
the vatniks or the slopes. is there some reason a country such as norway, with its thriving ship building industry couldn't build one though? or are you just masturbating to hypotheticals again?
>>34469106
Anywhere with a half-decent shipbuilding industry really.
It's actually quite a competitive and level market, so these kind of acquisitions somehow seem to avoid becoming massively expensive boondoggles.
>>34469106
>Norway
>Can't make its own
...pic related
But if you're willing to expand that to "any given country that is rich but can't make its own," then I think the real answer is "such a country doesn't exist."
Yeah maybe Switzerland, but the reason they can't make their own is: They have no water, so they don't buy.

Around :55, lawnmower guy pulls out a gun, hence the shooting and self defense. I had to look the story up elsewhere because I didn't see how this was self defense the first time around.
>>34469102
Damn he spent like 15 rounds. And 1911 fags think 7+1 is enough
>>34469273
what WAS the story?
>hey man you watchin me mow mah lawn!?
>yeah i'm filming you because the clippings keep getting over my fence

>DRA-
>DRAW BANG BANG BANG

Was Abe Simpson right?
the whole simpsons narrative and what is canon went straight to shit as more and more seasons went by.
Is this legal?
>>34469087
That string? Nah it's NFA
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4673796/T-Tiny-guarded-assault-rifle-wielding-security.html
Can we talk about these idiots? It's bad enough that celebrities hire menacing looking dudes instead of actual security, but now they're hiring amateurs to stand around with ar15s in crowded places. It's just asking for trouble.
Why don't celebrities hire ACTUAL security who know what they're doing?
>>34469064
>lefty
Don't worry, he won't hit shit anyway.
>>34469077
Nah dude, he's got a red dot, laser, and a front sight post. He's practically the next Chris Kyle.
>>34469064
>>34469101
At least they have SOME trigger awareness, that's better than %90 of cops I've seen.
How can other sniper rifles even compete?
...by having greater than 3 MOA
>>34469020
By not being an anti material rifle
>>34469020
>other sniper rifles
So im going to have a custom rifle built
Mauser action in 300 win
Carbon fiber composite stock
New trigger set
Bolt will be lapped and fluted.
Glass bedded
Invar pillars
Now when it comes to the barrel should i get a Aerograde Carbon Fiber Wrapped Barrel ? What are the pros other than slight weight saving?
Remember this is a hunting rifle not a range queen so wont have 100 rounds a day through it. Whats peoples experiences with carbon fiber barrels?
Or should i just go steel?
It will be threaded for suppressor and will also have a custom break made.
>>34469017
why the fuck would you want a superlight gun in 300 win? whatever break you put on it better be excellent.
>>34469031
Because im climbing fucking mountains with it.. im only firing 1 to 2 rounds. Im not made of glass.
Saying that the stock will have a bit of steel layed into the forend to stiffen it and add a little weight.
In the NZ mountains we spend a few days camped and climbing some pretty steep stuff.
>>34469031
Also it will mostly have a suppresor on it so that takes a lot of the whip out of it and add weight.
So got some super annoying gay neighbours. Was looking for a funny meme to send to my bro for a laugh and found this.
What gun is this? Not seen one before but looks like it has a AR lower?
Any ideas /k
Nobody has the knowledge??
