Let's share pics of our cowboy guns and argue about if loading gates or tubes are better.
Pic related, my Interarms era Rossi m92 in .44magnum and the gunleather I just made for it.

What would you say is the most best looking webbing from WW2, i would choose 1937 pat but i wanna know what you think anons
>>34516648
The German Y-Straps with a belt combo. And those triple mag pouches, operator as fuck.
>>34516648
Australian army
They made their Lee-Enfield bandoliers from fucking kangaroo leather
>>34516648
British webbing during WWII was ugly as fuck. In fact, the entire British uniform was ugly as fuck.
As for webbing, I like the US pattern or as another anon said, German Y straps and belt.
Plz help famalam so that I can carve it into the handguard.

Do I carve "Tooty" on the otherside, and then "Point n' Shooty" on the stock?

>reloads thread, contribute thoughts/experiences/techniques/advice/opinions pls
>first shit WebM is mine, follow up post with the other half of the written copy will include a skilled reload webm for comparison
1) Make sure my weak hand has priority in action order over my strong hand on the reload - weak hand is the first thing to start it's job as it has much more distance to cover and finite acute tasks to perform than the strong hand - basically weak hand is the dominant hand on a reload.
2) Don't bunch up. some folks are militant and absolute about staying in their "workspace" during a reload, even to the point of forcing the weak hand that's loading the mag to travel an excessive distance just to mainting this very institutional position. While the "work space" is probably the best place to start, I like a hybrid of it, just a little lower and tighter, to shorten the path to the new mag, but bunching up causes slow down and press out issues - so you have to draw the line - basically for me I want the mag to meet the magwell at a "clapping hands" distance from my body
3) index/slowdown/look!!!! I know the ancient fagpul carbine vids scream at you to never let the haji out of your sight for 1 sec because he'll flank you, cripple you and eifle tower your bitch with his bro while you bleed out. The reality is the guys who shoot the fastest and the strongest transition their focus to the magwell and magazine for an instant when they marry up, very simple explanation, consistancy and speed. You will be faster and more sonsistant giving visual priority in that fraction of a second, and it's just that, a fraction.
>>34516487
4) Press out on the reload just like your draw! Marry your weak hand and strong hand on the reload at the same "clapping" distance and proximity that they would naturally converge at, don't waste time and energy training for a separate action when you have the perfection and compatible foundation available.
5) There's much talk of the "right"way to grip your fresh mag and index it on the magwell for the reload, I've found a lot of these institutionalized techniques borrow heavily from the influence of open topped, OWB non-retention shooters and the events they participate in. Naturally what we have is a mantra saturated with these aggressive deep palm grips on the reload and yadda yadda. Well remove the completely impractical and unorthodox competition gear and switch to carry gear and these practices no longer translate. My summary would be - do what you can to earn as much leverage, purchase and control over the fresh mag as possible to insure consistent and efficient reloads.
6) Do not ignore the essentials. In the intermittance between reloads we desire two things the most. A visual acuity, focus and awareness of the front sight post - as this will make your hits. Your master grip, an excellent grip foundation will allow you to perform all pistol related actions simpler and with less mental taxation, pause, slow down, or even fucking adjust the grip before clearing leather/hardshell, if you come out with that leverage and pinching on the important bits of the frame you are setting up the gun to do the work for you. You guys are encouraged to share your personal thoughts, articles or videos by professionals, ask questions, or to simply call me a faggot and tell me to fuck off.
>tfw you're too lazy to get your carry rig properly set up so you cannot practice any sort of consistency in your draw
>tfw you carry a reload in your asspockit so you cannot properly practice any sort of consistent reload despite it being a low priority skill
I want to be inside Gabe White's spongebob backpack.

No one can help you but yourself, also they have back of pocket mag holsters
in the even of a nuke war would going into the subway save you ?
what are some safe places from a nuke
It depends where the warheads are, specifically how close to you they are.
There are very few things that can withstand a direct hit from a nuclear weapon, but a lot of them can protect you from the blast effect and radiation.
The fallout from a nuclear blast is as dangerous as the blast itself.
Also, I think there are specific plans for using subways as fallout shelters in the event of a nuclear exchange, but I think they're classified.
Is surviving a nuclear war even desirable?

I guess the heat from the flash would toast the breads for you
My noguns roommate wants to buy a conceal and carry. That's all good, but he wants to buy a .22, as opposed to a .357 or a 9mm.
Reasoning is that he doesn't want to kill anyone. My reasoning is that he's a retard.
How do I talk some sense into him? Already tried the "It's you or him" scenario.
>>34515978
>Reasoning is that he doesn't want to kill anyone.
he knows .22 kills a lot of people every year right, and that a gun is designed explicitly to kill something?
>>34515978
If you shoot someone it's because you need to kill them.
It's only justified if you are in fear for your life. And if that's the case you don't want 22. As much because rimfire sucks as the weak ass round.
>>34515978
It's either shoot to kill or go to prison.
That's basically the law here anyway.
Anyone know what this is /k/? Found it in cleaning out my great grandfather garage.
>>34515700
Ah, I haven't seen one of those in a long time!
It's an old, 1950s vintage onahole! Wow, I bet your grandpa had tons of "fun" with that!
Basically, Remington decided to try and create products to fill a man's time during the slow parts of hunting. Basically, when you're doing nothing and sitting around for a deer or whatever to show up. So, they partnered with DOW chemical to create a very soft, pliable polymer and stuffed it into a hard plastic shell and sold it to hunters as a "male relaxation device". It's disguised in a cool gunmetal grey case so the wife wouldn't know what it was, and hunters of all ages can "got to town" while in their tree stand or after a long day hiking. The best part is the wide variety of lubricants you can use. Besides spit and water, you can also use the urine you brought to lure your prey with. In modern onaholes, this degrades the soft silicone, but this is a special model which is very resistant to other chemicals. Just tie it to a branch and soak it in a pond or stream and it's all clean! You can even use the leftover "male essence" to attract fish for dinner (this was a popular selling point to the product).
What a piece of history you've found man! Take it for a spin, just like your dad and his dad and maybe even his dad did on those long, lonely nights and days out innawoods!

Just one question, why triangles for handguards?
>>34515233
why not?
>>34515233
Cheap to make, at least theoretically ergonomic.
Borrowed design concepts from FAL handguards
Hey folks, don't mean to attention/view whore but a short while back someone asked me to post my take on the $140 shotgun that centerfire has. This is it.

What do you think of the conflict over in the Orient now? It'll be only a few more days till those Russians tan those japs. There's no way a non-european power could beat a european power, right?
>>34514787
Interesting factoid about the Russo-Japanese war of 1904, it was the first time an Asian power beat a Western power in modern times which shocked Europe and humiliated the Russians and was a contributing factor in the Russians looking to redeem themselves in WWI.
the internet didnt even exist in 1890 you fucking retard
>>34514787
I doubt the Russians will win. Their last war was in the 1870s against the Turks, and they didn't perform very well in that war. Meanwhile, the Japs have been fighting in China and Taiwan for most of this decade, gaining lots of military experience along the way. Also, the Japs are in the process of adopting a new Mauser based rifle while the Russians have probably the worst service rifle in Europe.
I'm familiar with the law but there are clear exemptions such as m2 black tip.
And what about making ammo with a penetrator that is only 20 percent of the weight? Or why not use hardened titanium? Or why not use a hardened steel jacket and then a normal copper jacket? Again less than 25 percent weigh and its legal.
>>34514728
There's not much of a civilian market for it?
>>34514760
So that explains there not being one single manufacture? And there were plenty of ap ammo makers back in the 70s and 80s.
And what, most of k wouldn't be buying ap ammo for the happening?
>>34514835
I'd sooner use my .270 to defeat any body armor than buy a bunch for an AR
Opinions on this gun?
>>34514608
I got one, I like it.
Just don't get the heavy barrel, It's really fuckin heavy. I also like to think of it as a poor mans scar.
>getting a full retard upper so you can shoot .300blk
no thanks
>isnt even in 5.45x39 for cheap ammo

Also don't listen to retards who just parrot AKOUs video where it fails the bullshit sand test, even AKOU said his sand test is stupid and not realistic.
