this isn't a rude thread. baka
Buying two or more handguns from the same FFL within 5 consecutive business days = the ATF and your local CLEO get your serial numbers. They would not get this information from a normal purchase. In southern border states, this rule applies to buying multiple semi-auto rifles too, if they are in a caliber greater than .22 and have detachable magazines. It's more work for your FFL, although they don't always inform you that they are doing more work on your behalf and submitting your purchase info directly to the ATF for these sales.

Whattabout if someone buys a pistol and a long arm within 5 consecutive business days?

You should be able to answer that with the information provided in the OP.

Can you /k/illers help me out with something?
I was at an indoor range testing out some calibers because I want to eventually buy a pistol. I really liked the 10mm Glock 20 but I had one gripe with it. The grip has this weird checkerboard pattern and it would rub against my hand and make it really uncomfortable. It could be that my grip was off but is there some way I could get a different grip on the gun or would you recommend a different 10mm? I can't go any higher than 700 USD though.
Should I try the Glock 40 instead?

Buy a Gen 3
Buy a Gen 3. Or get a rubber wrap for the grip.
Check out this pic of a beautiful girl shooting.

Belgian backpack

How do your Parkas fit? I ordered an XL but it's way too small on me. It's real tight on my shoulders and the sleeves are short.
Let's talk SHTF weapons.
Specifically, let's talk SHTF battle rifles. I fully understand the reasoning behind AR, AK, pistol, or shotgun for SHTF. All have their benefits. And I understand why most people would not choose a battle rifle as their go-to SHTF gun. But let's just say you do want a battle rifle for SHTF. What do you choose?
Requirements:
>more powerful, more accurate, and longer effective range than AR or AK
>at least as durable and reliable as an AK
Preferable, but not entirely necessary:
>commonly available caliber
>commonly available replacement parts
>>34527241
An FAL
Can we move on now?
>>34527279
>FAL
Why?
>>34527479
Because 7.62 RFN and .308 are interchangeable, and used by both the US military and the local fudds, but the M14 isn't nearly as durable, and the G3 is...well, you really can't go wrong with either a G3 clone or an FAL.
An optic will do just fine (fuck the ARfags who will bitch about how "inaccurate" they are) on either one.
Why do militaries and police use shotguns? In what situation do they actually use shotguns? I understand the benefits of a shotgun for home defense, but in any other situation, I don't see how a shotgun would be better than a semi-auto AR or AK. Even clearing a room. So why do military and police even have shotguns? When do they use them?
Breeching. Riot control. Able to use various exotic ammo that would otherwise not cycle an action.
they are more multi purpose
you can shot pellets, slugs, rubber, beanbags or taser
stop, kill people or open doors with special ammo
all you have to do is change the ammo
I wouldn't say it's better, but it offers much more possibilities

Does each squad get one shotgun in the US Army?
What are your thoughts on the Canik TP9SFx? A co-worker of mine swears by it.
>>34527019
not a Tanfoglio Comp Pro II .45 acp
>>34527019
If im going to have a high performance pistol, id rather go with something actually high performance and not a look alike. Canik is a decent gun but just as is, not as some hi-speed lo-drag lookalike
Those are fair points, but these Caniks are pretty inexpensive at 550. Plus they come out of the box with with two mags and a holster.
Franchi SPAS-12: A combat shotgun manufactured by the Italian firearms company, Franchi, from 1979 to 2000. The SPAS-12 is a dual-mode shotgun, adjustable for semi-automatic or pump-action operation.
Yea or nay, /k/? What're your thoughts?
The perfect shotgun
>>34526868
Overpriced and heavy as fuck.
>>34526868
Good for it's time, but very limited in it's practically. Since been usurped by much better franchi and Benelli designs.
With rights come responsibility.
Lets talk safes.
From the RSC that call them selves safes, althe way to tltx 30x6 monsters and safe rooms.
I am not buying anymore guns untill i either buy a real safe not an rsc or build a walk in.
I would prefer the walk in.
I have a contractor coming to do a quote next week.
I'm a fudd, so I like wood furniture.
>>34526678
