Glock 19 vs Sig 226
>which is more durable?
>which is more reliable?
>which would you choose for SHTF is cost is not an issue? and what caliber?
>>34532120
I got both.
>>34532128
I'm jelly. Which would you take with you in SHTF if you expect to see combat and can only take one?
>>34532120
Glock. It's the most common handgun on earth.
Less parts. Sig has a 10lb trigger pull that's unacceptable
How do you guys carry a spare a double stack magazine for EDC?
Glock 17 mag at 8 o'clock, outside the waistband in a Black Rhino Concealment single mag carrier.

Anybody on /k/ got a helmet collection?
Thinking of purchasing a M-56
I don't have a collection, but I got a a dirt cheap M56.
One of the few advantages of living in Germany.
>>34531655
Sweet what year was it produced?
>>34531659
I really don't know, but I guess it's rather in the 70-85 range.
>assault weapons
if anyone can tell me the actual technical definition of an "assault weapon" i will give you $195 in cash via snail mail
>>34531568
It's a select-fire weapon designed for engaging and closing on an opposing position
>>34531568
i think its like a gun you use to assault things
I live in europe, is that a problem?
im really behind on my rent sooo hurry up
Anyone in /k/ recommend me some TBS? I've played all of the X-COMs, old, nu and mod. Weeb is okay.
7.56 high calibre
>>34531440
Jagged Alliance 2 with the 1.13 mod. Lots of /k/ related autism you'll enjoy, though the mod is full of extra features and documentation is scattered all over the place so it can be a hard game to properly learn. Well worth it though, nothing has properly succeeded it.

What would a modern battleship look like?
I imagine it would be a battleship that retain it's deck guns for artillery purposes along with extensive anti air, missile and rocket launch along with drone for spotting and defensive purposes.
>this thread again
>>34531144
A self-propelled barge with every available space filled with Anti-Ship Missiles
Operating gone wrong stories
>See a wasp in my room
>Have nothing near me but a bunch of knives
>Slap it away in mid air with the broad side of a large knife
>It comes back up
>Decide to slice it in mid air
>Actually manage to hit the wasp with my blade in mid air using my not dominant arm
>Wide swing so i slice my right hand open
>I now have a 5 inches long cut on my arm and the wound is pretty deep
If you don't have the ability to respect and control weapons you shouldn't own them.
You made this thread to comfort yourself, try and find stories about people equally as stupid as you to lower the moral bar. "Everyone does retarded things with knives amirite?" Is probably the thought you want to have. And you probably will see some similar stories. But that doesn't matter, not having a
>playing with gun
>decide to be edgy and cool and point gun at head with trigger
>incredibly loud thunder frightens me and i pull the trigger
>die
>forced to shitpost on 4chan as a ghost for eternity
I mean, there could be worse things.
Do lie detector tests even work?
All the /k/-tier jobs require them
>>34530506
"Yes" in that they can tell when you tell the truth but not always a 100% deal on when you lie so they treat any question that pops out a "non-conclusive" after several attempts as a being similar to a lie.
Crazy/unstable and trying to hide it? They'll know or have enough of a suspicion to hold it against you.
Lie detectors do not work, however they are used to trick you into incriminating yourself during the 'interview process' as people think they work and your asked if there is anything you like to get out of the way before the test.
A favorite excuse is 'for calibration purposes', there is no calibration, the machine does not work.
The whole interview is used as a setup to incriminate yourself, all of it.
Stay safe and good luck with your new job.
>>34530506
What are you trying to hide, anon?
no more shall we let our glorious murder/k/ube rust in the hands of faggot antiguns
THE PLAN
>we create a kickstarter to raise enough to but the cube
>someone else will have to start it because don't you dare trust me with more than five dollars
>we move the cube to a safe location, free of faggot antiguns, and commies.
if it won't work for whatever reason i'm open to suggestions

What is your favorite "1946" plane that was cancelled by the end of the war?
I'll post a few of mine
>the heinkel lerche b2
>it takes off and lands vertically
>top speed of nearly 500 mph
>climb rate of 50 m/s
>max altitude of just over 14,000 meters
>turns on a dime
inb4 it wouldn't work, the allies made some similar aircraft in the late 50s and 60s. It would just be a death trap.
>>34530474
>take a p47, streamline it, replace two of the six .50cals with 37mm cannons, pressurize the cockpit, and finally stuff in the most powerful engine to ever be used in a piston fighter (the r4360 produced up to 4300 hp)
>you now have a xp-72, a 500+ mph jug
>it performed incredibly well and the air force placed a large order
>only cancelled because the military wanted jet fighters
>>34530492
Dude, why don't they build those as CAS/COIN aircraft? They'd turn circles around the Super Tucano.
What are the best longswords on a budget? I like two handed swords better but should I just go for a arming sword? I want to get a sharp one that isn't shit for as cheap as possible. Any recommendations of brands or styles?
>>34530372
Heard Skallameme endorsed quite heavily the Hanwei Tinker Longsword http://www.kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=SH2394
Falchions are more aesthetic tho
>>34530379
Looks pretty nice. Does this website have a good reputation? Of course I'd look into the manufacturers before I bought.
>>34530379
>>34530388
The Hanwei Tinker is immensely popular. Good luck getting one since they go out of stock quickly.
The Tinkers aren't amazing or anything. They just happen to be good for the price they're at. Also used a lot as a base to modify into a different style of sword.
If you're just going to fuck around with it, it'll be fine.
Personally, I'd shell out an extra one or two hundred for a Valiant Armory or a Regenyei, which will be better quality.
Kult of Athena is a pretty reputable site.
What is the ugliest, piece of shit, unpractical, custom you've seen /k/?
For me, it's pic related.
>>34530215
fuck. Does that vector have a 20" barrel with barrel shroud? I don't believe that's a real can. Way too long
>>34530215
anything this company produces. Most god awful design of any firearm bar none
>>34530231
I'm pretty sure it's a 20" suppressor
Still fucking ugly.
>>34530245
Ew, what the fuck.
contemplating traveling to russia for victory day next year and staying for a bit, 1 weeks time, has anyone here ever gone to russia or done any other military themed private tours? Cost, ect
there is a hotel in Moscow for right by red square for $70 a night which I think isn't bad, I'd like to visit the museums in Moscow then head to Izhvesk.
do you think being able to handle/dissassemble one of their 74m's on victory day would be possible, if I could show my proficiency and to be a fan of Russia and its weapons.
dumb frogposter
>>34529933

Go for it, Russia is fun.
