What does /k/ think of singapore and our military? we have karaoke

As I understand it, people in Singapore never have any sex.
So basically 4chan the country.
Still, should be good enough to keep Malaysia or Indonesia from fucking with you.

trained with you mate back in 2010.
My thoughts
SAR21 is good rifle
Training is good
NCO's can be a bit weak though, but thats coming from an army where NCOs are feared just as much as they're respected
Personal Equipment was good,
Tanks, IFVs, APCs in good numbers
Navy looks good, exceptional frigates, but could do with a pair of destroyers and maybe a light carrier.
Definitely needs more subs
Air force looks good.
FINAL VERDICT:
8/10 the best conscripted country army i've seen
For comparison
USA: 7 (add 1.5 for excellent logistics and air power) so 8.5/10
Australia: 9 (minus one for being small for 8 overall)
Canada: 9 (minus one for being small overall)
Ukraine :7/10
Jordan: 7/10
Netherlands 7/10
Finland :7/10
Italy: 7/10
Deutschland: 6/10
Belgium 5/10

What was so bad about belgium? Dated kit?
I was walking around Brussels a few months back and the soldiers patrolling the streets looked more like 1970's Rhodesians than a modern military.
Ancient FAL's and random selection of miss matched 90's kit. Bongistani police looked like robocop in comparison

How accurate/innacurate is this article?
Seems entirely accurate and well written from what I skimmed of it. It's always nice when these websites actually consult someone who knows what they're talking about when writing articles instead of the author just pulling shit out of their ass.

What is some autistic /k/ shit that you do with every day items?
Example:
>HK slapping your turn signal

>Actually had a lot of fun doing it

>Be me
>Bored at some home
>Have gun on my hip
>Proceed to clear rooms
>Shoot and kill dog
>Wound female and threaten to kill family
>I actually had a lot of fun doing it
I run around my house with unloaded guns and magazines, clearing it, and making "pew pew pew" noises the whole time.
I also imitate reloads from pop culture.
i just dry fire, practice draws, and clearing my apartment randomly.

Cambodian-Vietnam War
>Shortly after America's Vietnam War
>Note worthy for the NVA fucking up the Khmer Rogue who were brutal as fuck commies and fucking funded by US
Honestly this war is so important when talking about the Vietnam War, as it shows what the US Government's goal was and puts to rest the "fighting communist expansionism" lie they used to get hundreds of thousands of US soldiers thrown into the meat grinder to fuck with Russia's economy and get drug money.
Mexican-American War
>First war America ever fought where they're in a foreign and alien land
>Noteworthy for being the training grounds of all the greatest Civil War generals and in part setting in motion tensions that would lead to the Civil War
>>34532999
Also Philippine - American War
>Basically Vietnam before Vietnam
>First time America had to combat Islamic insurgents, not counting the First Barbary War.
>>34532999

>WW1
>Spanish American War
>Boer Wars
>Franco-Prussian War
>Russo-Japanese War
>Anglo-Zulu War

Sino-Vietnamese war AKA Third Indochinese War.
>NVA occupy Cambodia to combat the Khmer Rouge
>China, who are funding and supporters of Cambodia see this
>Invade North Vietnam almost immediately
>China gets absolutely blown the fuck out by the grizzled Vietnamese fighters, lose between 200k and 700k soldiers in a 3-week span
>Vietnam continues to occupy Cambodia until the 80's and only loses small portions of land and comparatively light losses compared to the Chinese
Fairly apt, ties-in with the OP.

Hey /k/. If you've been on the /meg/ at all you've probably seen me asking about the TACP field in the airforce. Basically the long and short of my situation is that I've worked retail for 3 years, and dropped out of college after a term. I recently discovered physical fitness and got myself into pretty good shape. Jogged a marathon in 5 hrs 3 months ago and found the thrill of pushing your body to its limits. Its some good shit. Last month /pol/ sucked me down the rabbit hole of Jordan Peterson and gave me some motivation to better myself.
I self-diagnosed the stagnation of my life as an overall lack of discipline. I'm tired of taking it easy, and I don't really want to whip my own life into shape, I'd rather the armed forces do it for me.
So, basically my question is if I end up in TACP how do I go about getting a JTAC certification? It isn't guaranteed, so would I just be a ROMAD then?
Also tell me how much of a shithead I am for wanting to go into the airforce if you want.
You will go for JTAC qualification around a year after your pipeline. Hastened by your performance and the unit you end up in.
STS guys will be prioritized.
Any reason why you're all about JTAC? There's nothing wrong with the Air Force too. Much better quality of life.
>>34532312
Look dude if you're a tacp you are eventually going to get jtac qualified or it would stall your career
>>34532312
TACP will get JTAC qual but it can take a year to two depending on alot of thing like schedules and the idioticy of the military. You will have other schools you need to go to like SERE and Jump once you are out of the school house which could make it longer. You will be a ROMAD for a year or two basically.
Good luck man, AFSOC is definitely the way to go. They treat their people much better. Really prepare for the PAST tons of people fail it.
My first game in the series. Liked the atmosphere and the engine seemed nice. Got bored of lack of content so tried RO/RS1 and was blown away. How the fuck is RS2, with a complete lack of comparable features, considered a sequel? Are they even planning on making campaigns? This feels more like an early access game rather than the sequel to such an atmospheric and detailed /k/ mp game.
>>34532296
>This feels more like an early access game rather than the sequel to such an atmospheric and detailed /k/ mp game.
welcome to the tripwire sales model
it'll be a lot better in two years when nobody plays it anymore
they said they will add new maps, weapons, and vehicles very soon
I have about 170 hours in ro2 and rs1 with about 60 in rs2. I am pretty satisfied with rs2 but wish their were more maps (modders are working on this). Also it was like $22 at release. However all the extra shit in RO2 never gets played because BRIDGES and rs1, although fun, didnt keep my attention for too long. You have to realize that rs2 is a sequel to rs1, which did not have a campaign and less maps than ro2. You got a bundle with two games, of course you will have more content.

Don't forget China!
>Armoured warfare is a joke
>Tanks are as obsolete as battleships
>5000 dollar anti tank weapon > 5 million dollar tank
t. my friend
A good guided missile costs way more than that.
>TOW missile
>£8,500 (GPD) in 1984
>comes to $33,651 (USD) in 2017
>FGM-148 Javelin
>$246,000 (USD) in 2014
but either way no, tanks are still important
>>34532194
>Infantry warfare is a joke
>Infantry are as obsolete as battleships
>30 cent bullet > soldier with 10-20k worth of kit
:3
Battleships are obsolete because not because they have vulnerabilities (though heavy armor belts on warships are an obsolete concept), but that their role is obsolete. Naval warfare is no longer decided by big gun duels, but by; AShMs, submarines, and aviation. On the other hand, there isn't yet an answer to the requirement for something that can advance quickly across cross-country terrain while attacked with; artillery, cluster munitions or ubiquitous rapid fire small arms. If stopping an armored thrust was easy with cheap anti tank weapons, why did the Iraqis, with large stockpiles of AT weapons, get destroyed so utterly by competent usage of armored forces not once, but twice?
