If 9mm fags love the capacity why not double stack .22??? Surely will hold 30-50 rounds
With a .22 there's a chance that the bullet will ricochet and turn innocent bystanders into hamburger when it bounces around, not worth the risk, even with the greater capacity.

If someone made rimless .22 centerfire I'd be all over it.

Guy had a Turkish Mauser on Armslist for $200 just down the road from me. Listing had his number and said to text if interested. Texted him a week ago and he never responded even though the listing is still up.
Why does the U.S. keep pumping money into small arms programs only to buy, like, 50 fucking guns for SOCOM?
Because SF want fancy shit, and god forbid anybody be allowed to buy an off-the-shelf solution without ten years of tenders and trials.
>>34540030
Padding slush funds.

SOCOM was a mistake.

Fuck shit up. What are you? Stupid?
Do you use a horizontal or vertical magazine pouch?
I am a noguns but I would be to paranoid that the clip is going to fall if I carry it horizontally like that.
>>34539838
/k/ mostly just uses the internet......
The lateral pouch is not up to snuff in terms of retention and speed and it seems like it would actually add to the width of the waist profile when observed from obtuse angles or while rotating at the hips.

Century arms has been known to be shit in the past, do they still produce shitty rifles? I'm looking to buy my first rifle, so be kind
>>34539769
They're still shit, don't bother
>>34539769
From my understanding it's only shit if Century did all the work. Most of what they build off a parts kits are fine, but if they had more of a hand in it than that, God help you.

Better alternative?

Why live?
You sound like a loser. There are plenty of wars available yet you refuse to attend one. That confirms you as a cuck deluxe, a megagiggabeta cuck, a singularity of cuckoldness into which even large adjacent cucks are sucked and consumed by your faggotry.
Why live? Stop living. You suck. Go die.

What is the point of expensive stealth when the future of warfare looks like it will be totally asymmetric, modern armies fighting rebels and improvised combat units with outdated weaponry?
What's the point of your mom drinking diet coke when she needs an overhead crane to move around the house?
The future of warfare looks asymmetric thanks to deterrents such as stealth aircraft, they're also useful for crushing smaller state militaries without incurring losses, helps keep shitty countries in check.
>>34539552
If you don't maintain capability parity, the next thing you know you'll be speaking mandarin or russian.
The fact that it's useful against pleb tier states is a bonus, not a driving reason.
I tell ya, I won't call it a fad, but these "centerfire" cartridge revolvers ain't for me just yet.
Nope, I reckon I'll keep a-carryin' my Whitneyville. My daddy bought it soon after I's born when we's headed out from Alabama to Texas. He got shot by a gambler in New Orleans, though. Reckon until I joined the war effort it hadn't been shot two dozen times.
Carries a rifle charge, a heavy .44 ball, and a hell of a wallop. Capable out to a 100 yards. I've killed Yankees, horses, deer, cattle, Indians from three tribes and a whore that turned out to be hiding a dick with it.
I back her up with a New Model Pocket Remington.
What're y'all boys carrying?

Got me one of those weird revolver-rifle things from my 'Pa, said he stole it from a Union soldier. It's fairly nice, but those new lever-action whooseywhatsits outshoot me every time.
What's with these damned leverguns anyway? They fire this underpowered round with little consistency and you can't even reload the casings. With a cap-and-ball, you ain't wasting dimes on dimes paying for brass you use once.
can people stop spreading this old Vietnam "Jail or Enlist" bullshit, it hasn't happened in decades. I know during the worst years of Iraq they let people slide with drug charges and more serious shit but i can't recall a judge waving somebodies who was already sentenced for enlistment. Every other day I get deadbeats asking me for advice on joining and when I tell them there 5 mile long rap sheet will disqualify them they bring up this whole nonsense like were back in 07 and taking anyone.

What is this thread supposed to accomplish?
Hey guys, currently a no/shotguns guy, and lookin' to change that. Saw a Maverick 88 for $200 and Remington 870 for 350$ at Big 5. Lookin' to maybe hunt with it in the future, and am at kind of a loss here. Only ever shot a shotgun once, but it was a pretty fun experience.
Also, in California, so has to hold 4 shells to hunt.
tldr; I want your newbie shotgun opinions.
>>34539376
>Also, in California, so has to hold 4 shells to hunt.
its 2+1 for hunting. this is achieved by shoving a dowel or something in the magtube to limit it.
>>34539376
My first was a maverick.
If I were you i'd get a maverick or a cheapie coach gun.
maverick 5rd come with a plug
coach guns are more aesthetic... but I'm a bit of a fudd. up to you, really.
>>34539376
Both the Mav88 and 870 by default hold 5+1, if its a 4 round max then just dont load more than 3+1 or dont take the dowel out of the tube (which limits it to 2+1 on the Mav88 IIRC)
Both guns are worth the asking price IMO.
