Alright, serious questions for anyone, especially those dealing surplus in the UK.
is BDU getting released to the public or being allowed to be used as civilianware? In the past two weeks I've seen 7 or 8 examples of people wearing late 80s American BDU jackets, shirts and girls wearing shorts and skirts in the pattern. Is there a huge influx or is this just Baider-Menhoff Syndrome because I only started liking BDU three months ago.

I'm a real estate agent and tl;dr: I came across a foreclosure and all the stuff that got left behind is up for grabs. I have first dibs.
I found this knife. Apparently it was a Russian couple that originally owned the house and they are back in Moscow. They left behind this knife. Anyone have info on this? Can someone translate this for me?
Pics may be blurry because Iphone/me is being retarded
Have you ever found a handkerchief with a map to pizza on it?
Considering the Ruger LCPll for $320. Is it a fair deal? What other guns should I look at?
>>34637280
I keep eyeing the Remington RM380, ambidextrous and felt comfy as fuck, it's a polymer gun based off of a metal performance pistol from the manufacture Remington bought.
>>34637280
I was set on the LCP2 until I learned it doesn't have a drop safety or firing pin block like almost every other modern semiauto. I'm looking at a small pocket revolver for carry now, like the Ruger LCR.
>>34637308
>I'm looking at a small pocket revolver for carry now, like the Ruger LCR.
Don't. I fell for the pocket revolver meme, and I regret it.
>unable to get a full grip if you have medium-to-large sized hands
>light weight and short grips makes gun harder to control and more difficult to shoot
This towers are between 239m and 250m tall. What kind of ordnance could take them down? A well placed 2000lb JDAM?

Why don't modern rifles have volley sights?
Especially considering how much volume of fire a modern Semi-automatic or automatic rifle can put out. Volley fire on entrenched positions could be a good way to break the moral of the defenders and even kill some of them.
With all of the various rail attachment points, it would not be hard to mount a volley sight to the rifle.
So why are there no modern volley sights.
>>34637012
Because machine guns, mortars, artillery, tanks and airstikes exist.
>>34637012
Because machine guns and artillery work better. You killed a thread, retard.
>>34637035
There is no reason you cannot supplement those support assets by giving the average soldier the ability to volley fire.
This just happened:
>Took daughter out to lunch
>She got spaghetti I got biscuits and gravy
>Carrying the leftovers upstairs I accidentally dropped spaghetti on the floor entering my apartment
>I yell "god fucking damnit!!!!'
>Daughter wondering why dad flipped his shit
>Neighbor walking by knocks on door and asks if everything is ok
>Grab pistol off coffee table and yell "mind your own fucking business bitch!" As I hold it in the air, I didn't point it at her tho
I think the fuzz is on the way... My fucking PTSD caught up to me. What do?
>>34636964
Don't be a fucking spaz and threaten your neighbors?
when they show up, do not admit to owning guns. they will leave.
>>34636964
You probably won't but you're a spaz and should seriously consider selling off all of your guns.

What would it take to turn a starting revolver into a real revolver?
>>34636918
Buying a real revolver as they are designed to blow up if someone is retarded enough to try.
>>34636931
Gun laws are real shit. I can only get a starting one. What can i do to it to make it into a "real" revolver?
A replacement dog.
Are you supposed to re-clean and re-lube your guns after a few months even if you haven't used them?
What if you only used them once since the last cleaning and then haven't cleaned them for a few months?
>>34636898
Generally speaking, I lube my guns a day before a range trip and fully clean and lube them after coming back from the range; however I am extreamly paranoid about corrosion and pitting so take that as you may.
1. clean a gun after firing
2. clean dust and shit more often if you're relying on it to save your life
>>34636898
You CAN get away without cleaning a gun for a long time but it depends on the gun itself and if you want it to be accurate and last a long time.
If I havent used a gun for 3 months,or I cant remember the last time I cleaned it I'll take it out and re-oil it.
I clean everything I put a round through when I get home from the range, shit I shot corrosive through gets a full teardown.
Im really anal about it because I want my guns to be pristine in my safe and have them last as long as possible.

Consider getting better stock and BUIS.
How long will it be before semi-automatic rifles become common for hunting?
I don't know why you'd want extra weight for no benefit.

I'm considering buying a Glock 26 or similar firearm for CCW. What are some other specific Glock 26 competitors I should be looking at that are about the same size, weight, feel when shooting?
If you want a double stack, I'd say a 26 is your best bet.
