Kydex takes 30 seconds to form.

Hey /k/, my family recently opened up a small restaraunt/grill in California. Since it's SoCal, some spics came in asking my mom if her husband was in, and they ran away when they saw my uncle. It's one of those kinda ghetto beaner neighborhoods with many good family customers but the occasional low life snooping around to take our money. What are some good NON-LETHAL California compliant weapons that I can carry around, something that could be considered home defense (self defense is fine too). I'm already gonna get a mossberg but the laws here will fuck me and my family over of I ever use it.

welcome to california. where small business owners are shit out of luck.
>>
>>34644938
Just buy a few cans of Raid or that long range wasp spray
>>
OP your post doesn't make any sense, you can buy a Mossberg 500 or a Ruger sp101 in CA no problem. Both are plenty capable of stopping people with either regular lethal rounds or nonlethal rubber bullets.

>>34644973

CA has castle doctrine, which is good enough for a business.

Sup /k/ what's your opinion on 5.11 tactical? I plan on buying boots from 5.11. Any experience? I've heard good things about their pants but not their boots.

Dunno about their boots. A friend has a pair of their shoes and loves them. I'm a fan of the taclite pros and Apex pants
>>
>>34644822
boots i recommend garmont or blackhawk. in the same price range too.

If WW2 was just Russia vs Germany with no outside help who would win? I still think that Germany would not have been able to completly take over Russia even if they were not distracted by other fronts.

Russia. They could just play the attrition game until Germany's atrocious logistics problems caught up with them (more or less what happened IRL). Just keep throwing inbred alcoholics at the krauts, from their perspective they're basically infinite.
>>
>>34644584
All 4 of those statements are true tho...

>I still think that Germany would not have been able to completly take over Russia even if they were not distracted by other fronts.

just how organized do you think 1940s Russia was outside the few big cities?

How are cheap optics?

I'm talking $50-$100 ACOG scopes, $30 red dots, $40 holosights etc

I've recently bought a $30 red dot for a .22 pistol but have not had time to test it out, I was wondering about the other scopes for other rifles, bigger calibers.

Would they even be remotely decent?

>>
No.
For mong-term use on anything bigger than .22lr you will have zero drift or outright breakage, guaranteed. They work great on your kid's airshit guns, tho.
>>
>>34644381
If you have to ask this just don't own a firearm
>>
you get what you pay for. I have run across optics that broke that rule but that's typically been the fault of stupid pawn brokers. With most /k/ related items rule of thumb is buy once cry once.

When running, wearing running shorts, e.g. No belt, how do you carry, do you use a shoulder holster?

>>34644333
Depends where but either a belly band or hpg
>>
>>34644333
Just open carry with pistol in hand as you run, everything will be fine, provided you grow a beard and shout "Allah Akbar!" As you run towards a group of people.
>>
Glock 26 in a Blackhawk fanny pack. Works great for running and doing barbell stuff

So, if you buy an upper and a lower at the same time, they cancel your order and charge you a fee?

The fuck?
19 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Who does this? And just put it in two separate orders, lower has to ship to an ffl anyway.
>>
>>34643976
Karri's guns. Was interested in their 10mm AR upper.

But 25% cancellation fee? That's sleazy even if its easy to do two separate orders.
>>
>>34643990
Well I mean, they clearly lay it out right above not to do it. If you're retarded enough to do something they said not to no shit they're going to penalize you.

Was the Waffen SS any better than the rest of the Wehrmacht?

Popular history books and television paint them as an elite and I wonder how true that is.

Some of them were quite good troops. However, they were fighting a losing battle and were subject to Hitler's insane orders to do the impossible and they were autistic enough to follow them. This resulted in unnecessary casualties. Adding to this was the disconnect between SS command the army command which resulted in poor coordination of attacks.
Also made it harder to pull off a coup against the Nazi government since they were separate from the Army.
>>
>>34643938
a few divisions were really well trained and equipped, but for the most part they were politically loyal
>>
>>34643938
The reason they have that reputation is that a couple of units like Liebstandarte and Das Reich did pretty well in combat. Most of the others were basically glorified reservists.

I was helping a friend move a stove from one house to another since he does not have a pickup. He called his brother who works as an armed security guard. I asked him about what gun he uses on the job.

This was his reply:
>I use a small gun that I can carry without the weight bothering me and fits in my pocket. It shoots .22 which is all you need to go through a persons body.

After I asked him again what gun he uses he said:
>I don't remember the brand, a gun is just a tool for me.

He then later said the gun had a feminine name, something along the line of "Lady" or "Miss"

Can you /k/omandos identify what gun he was referring to?

Tell me /k/, is it true that manual strangulation (strangulation with one's bare hands and without the aid of a rope or other such object) is actually a really difficult and inefficient way of killing someone?

Yes. It takes way longer than you think to die from oxygen deprivation.

Are you planning something OP?

I want a very light rifle for backpack hunting (below 6lbs) and if rather not abuse myself with a .300WM or 7RM. Any thoughts on this?

Also, general hunting thread I guess. They're rare on here but always enjoyable.

I know there was at least one British airman at Stalag 13, I think the rest were murdered by Bomber Harris
>>
>>34643615
Can't help with your question.

But an interesting British advantage in the Battle of Britain was that every British airman shot down could be back up the next day whereas each German was out of the war for good.

lmao no
The krauts should've gotten the same treatment japan got. Firebombs out the ass, a taste of their own medicine. A genocide of the German population would have vastly improved the state of the world today.
