So I read in Guns and Ammo that U.S. Armament is going to be producing the Colt Model 1903 again. First in .32 and then in .380s. My inner Film Noir detective is excited.

Rumor has it that as the Ford-class carriers begin taking precedence, the Nimitz-class carriers will be sold to other nations. A few weeks ago the USS Eisenhower hosted the Secretary of Defence and two high-ranking Indian gov't officials for a tour of the ship.

What the hell would Indian need an aircraft carrier for?

Okay faggots let's discuss what future warfare like 50 - 100 years in the future will look like. How will the infantry be equipped? Will tanks be obsolete with the proliferation of ATGMs? Will power armor render intermediate calibers obsolete?

This is 100 years from now.
We will bump back up to battle rifles in an effort to match increased armor capabilities. Soldiers will have slightly higher tech toys at the it disposal but nothing that changes current tactics.
Armor will stay about the same with the only increases in technology being minor changes to currently existing vehicles. The most major improvements will be done to airpower making it more efficient and the F35 project will be nearing completion.

Screencap this for reference in 2115.
>>
In 50 years the world will have half killed itself off. There will be maybe 1 million people at most on the entire planet. There won't be any true wars. Just tribes and villages fighting over little shit. Or gangs trying to rape and pillage. Fought all with small arms assuming there's bullets and powder and some type of infrastructure.

Most will die on the fury road.

Hello /k/omrads,

My European lgs is selling a "real M4" - A Colt Defense M4 Magpull edition with a 14" barrel. Being a europoor I don't know much about AR15 So I ask for your Wisdom. I know the militaria issue Colt Defense are 14" but is tehre such thing as a Magpull M4 ? And from which distribution circuit did he got this from ?

Does it make any sense ?

Thanks for the help

>>
>>28294675
>with a 14" barrel
You mean 16". US-made complete rifles in the EU are literally never under 16". Too much hassle exporting NFA shit especially considering EU personnel can have EU made SBRs for less.

>I know the militaria issue Colt Defense are 14"
They're 14.5"

>but is tehre such thing as a Magpull M4
No, it's an AR-15, Colt is milking the name.

> And from which distribution circuit did he got this from ?
I'd venture a guess they bought it from Colt.

I doubt it. IIRC, they were super expensive for a dune buggy painted black, had engines that required constant maintenance and weren't all that fast when fully loaded with gear. Besides, have you ever seen a picture of them in use that wasn't taken 15+ years ago?

Because basically every president since 1994 hates the Armed Forces for their action during the military dictatorship, and pure and simple revenge.

http://www.commondreams.org/news/2015/12/22/seymour-hershs-latest-bombshell-us-military-undermined-obama-syria-tacit-help-assad
Seymour Hersh is claiming that the Joint Chiefs frustrated with the Executive arming unvetted Syrian rebel groups linked to Nusrah and ISIS and trying to confront Russia were providing intelligence on the Jihadists to Germany, Israel, and Russia with the clear understanding it would be supplied to Assad
Thats pretty amazing
Could it be true?
I can imagine them concerned with another power vacuum filled with maniacs just like Iraq and Libya, I can imagine them frustrated with the so-called moderates selling their arms to the maniacs, and I can imagine them concerned about people trying to push the Russians around and the response that could get
But to actually act on it? And take action against the Executive?

By the late summer of 2013, the DIA’s assessment had been circulated widely, but although many in the American intelligence community were aware that the Syrian opposition was dominated by extremists the CIA-sponsored weapons kept coming, presenting a continuing problem for Assad’s army. Gaddafi’s stockpile had created an international arms bazaar, though prices were high. ‘There was no way to stop the arms shipments that had been authorised by the president,’ the JCS adviser said. ‘The solution involved an appeal to the pocketbook. The CIA was approached by a representative from the Joint Chiefs with a suggestion: there were far less costly weapons available in Turkish arsenals that could reach the Syrian rebels within days, and without a boat ride.’ But it wasn’t only the CIA that benefited. ‘We worked with Turks we trusted who were not loyal to Erdoğan,’ the adviser said, ‘and got them to ship the jihadists in Syria all the obsolete weapons in the arsenal, including M1 carbines that hadn’t been seen since the Korean War and lots of Soviet arms. It was a message Assad could understand: “We have the power to diminish a presidential policy in its tracks.”’

In January 2014, despairing at the lack of progress, John Brennan, the director of the CIA, summoned American and Sunni Arab intelligence chiefs from throughout the Middle East to a secret meeting in Washington, with the aim of persuading Saudi Arabia to stop supporting extremist fighters in Syria. ‘The Saudis told us they were happy to listen,’ the JCS adviser said, ‘so everyone sat around in Washington to hear Brennan tell them that they had to get on board with the so-called moderates. His message was that if everyone in the region stopped supporting al-Nusra and Isis their ammunition and weapons would dry up, and the moderates would win out.’ Brennan’s message was ignored by the Saudis, the adviser said, who ‘went back home and increased their efforts with the extremists and asked us for more technical support. And we say OK, and so it turns out that we end up reinforcing the extremists.’

And these are the people who planted bombs inside the WTC

Haha jokes on you akfags you're shitty rifle has been beaten. You may think that the ak is cheaper and more reliable then the glorious AR-15 but there's nothing that the AR-15 can't be. Say goodbye to double feeds and failures to eject because nothing is more reliable then a single shot rifle. It also comes in at an impressive $359 (and this is for factory parts, I'm sure if you got them second hand then it could be even lower at say $200 and below)
