Greetings /k/, quick question, what are your opinions on the Taurus PT111 Millennium G2? I've heard bad things about Taurus in general. But recently my buddy bought one of these and he now carried it instead of his Glock 20. What are your experiences with it if any?

No.

His interview with Tom Givens on the similar subject is also great.

who the fuck is this guy, I mean I know who he is. Just why the fuck does anyone care about his opinions anymore? Both these are dated as all fucks.
>>34667289
cuz hes been in the field longer then your dads alive and wrote books and articles a million years before the internet!
Would you let a blind guy shoot your guns?
What fugly monstrosities would you give him that shoot well?
>pic related: this blind guy owns a gun shop
>>34666874
Of course. He still has to obey the safety rules. I'd assist.
>>34666874
Maybe straight down at the ground. Chances that he is gonna shoot in the air are too high otherwise.
give him a machine gun and send him to detroit
Couldn't really think of another place to ask this. When looking through FBI statistics on justifiable homicide, where would unjustifiable self defense cases be listed?
>unjustifiable self defense cases
Aggravated assault/manslaughter/murder, since self-defense is a justification for the aforementioned crimes.
Good luck sorting out what you're looking for from the "he sold me shitty drugs, so it was self defense, I swear!" cases.
>>34666711
Damn do they not have a specific area for cases that were self defense and then turned later into homicide/manslaughter charges
>>34666747
If there were convictions for murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide, or aggravated assault then it's by definition not self defense.
Calling something unjustifiable self defense is just guessing.
Hey Americans. Remember when your CIC publicly criticized the "digital" EMALS and said drop it and go steam? Would be pretty stupid to plant a flag on a hill on a subject matter that you have no competence in and later get completely BTFO, wouldn't it?
http://www.navytimes.com/news/your-navy/2017/07/26/navy-announces-fix-to-electromagnetic-aircraft-launch-system/
>The recently commissioned supercarrier Gerald R. Ford has been widely criticized for having a myriad of mechanical issues, but the U.S. Navy can scratch the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System off that list, according to a Naval Air Systems Command release.
>The Navy says it performed 71 successful test launches this summer to confirm that the launch system is finally working correctly.
>reliability problems in testing for more than five years
>threaten cancellation of project
>it's fixed two months later
Surely this wasn't planned?
>>34666543
Gerald Ford was not delayed due to EMALS
I'm guessing testing wasn't the hottest of priorities due to there being no use for it for years.
Made this just for you guys

Why should external weapons continue to be 'unstealthy'.
if you can make an aircraft VLO with coatins and fuselage angles, why can't you make weapons in the same way so that the barely increase the RCS of the aircraft?
Pic related - one of the few semi stealthy weapons in service.
>>34666081
>coatins
That should say coatings but I'm a degenerate who didn't proof read.

Doesn't russia or somebody have ICBMs hidden in shipping containers that are kept always in transit?
hello /k/ i see you brandishing your guns all the time with your second ammendments but in england its very hard to get a hold of one. i can get my firearms licence quite easily but just looking for how much im looking to spend on a .22 rifle just to start me off with.

>>34665579

>>34665605
In us a .22 rifle can go for $200 - $2000 easily depending on what kind you want, could you be more specific?

I'm suprised at the number of british people on here. MOst of them are squaddies though.
From what i've seen over the past few months
> "Recceman"
> RTR Tanker
> "KRH" tanker (no idea what KRH is though)
> Surveillance MI
> Technical information MI
> "Amphetamine lancer"
> "Amphetamine Viking" (why do these two go on about amphetamine all the time?)
> 33rd EOD tech
> Paratrooper
Ones apparently a captain and another has a high up decoration of sorts.
They all seem to know there stuff, and you don't even notice they're british half the time.
I made a thing. I call it the D.Y.I.A.M.T or do it yourself autistic multi tool. You can make one too. It's easy. You got a spoon for eatin and a fork for stabbing. With a little duck tape it would make a decent bayonet.

Didn't see one in the catalog I'll start.
I got a Franchi Affinity 12ga 26" and a 24" Match grade upper for sale. Below are links to the Armslist ad.

Just got one of these in the mail, and I gotta say it's a game changer for reloading my MKII mags
Before I had it they'd hurt my hands and take 30-50 seconds per mag, now I can just drop in a box and load up my 4 mags in less than 30 seconds
Aside from the cringe name, this shit is totally worth $20
>hurt my hands loading mags.
So what was it like growing up in the 40s grandma?
>>34665238
where is the little mag button ?
my ruger sr22 mags had little button to pull down the piece on top of spring, and also had a hole at bottom of mag like the pic
>>34665305
MKII mags are not comfortable to load. The metal button is thin and sharp, the spring is heavy and it bites into your thumb after the first 10 times.
>>34665320
I actually have an SR22 as well as a MKII, the SR22 is about a hundred times more comfortable to load since it has a button spring assist instead of that little button.
This thing actually works by having a screw on the side of the loading button that presses it down as you push the mag in, but the really cool thing about it is that it lines up the rounds automatically by just shaking it

Where do you even get shells ?
25 of the TOZ-123s were imported before the Clinton ban. I'm not sure if it would be appropriate to convert one back to the non-import KS-23
Hey /K, so I have an issue. I was informed recently that I was Permanently Disqualified from US enlistment with my selected branch of service due to a wound on my wrist about 1 inch in length. I went to a psych consult and the doctor wrote it was self inflicted, when I legitimately do not know how I got it, all I could offer were guesses. Is there a way for me to unfuck my situation? Can I reapply for a consult 6 months from now to maybe apply for a medical waiver? I really am not suicidal, I was just a really dumb kid ignorant to my own well-being and only thought of having fun. Could I maybe get two civilian Psychs to mark me as fit so they could re-consider me for review? Thanks, pic is a former Airborne Infantry guy's dog.
>>34664952
see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon & hide the scar
think of a good explanation but if it is inside wrist looks like suicide attempt eh ?
>>34665220
I just contacted a dermatologist when you said that, I would show my scar but the file is too big according to halfchong. It's actually not centered, it's off to the side where I would assume someone would BEGIN a laceration, however it doesn't continue
>>34665847
I have a scar on my wrist from working on my car, AND I take antidepressants.
something tells me I'll never be allowed in the military regardless of how long I stay off medication with doctors orders.
This guy did a video on carriers that I'm not too sure about. He has a big following though so I'm curious what /k/ thinks about it. Is he leading the uninformed masses astray or is he shedding light on a concerning miscalculation in American military strategy.
ALL DEM BOATS
Where is the fuck is the video?
>>34664793
>This guy
Who is this guy.
Smells like cheap bait by the way.
