It's that time of the year that I'm renewing all my club memberships and I wondered where other people are shooting and how much is costs? Everything here is pretty much private (non-profit) clubs. For profit indoor ranges are not common here and outdoor for-profit facilities are 100+ miles away.

Here what I get and how much it costs:

Club 1 $20/yr: 2500 members, 300 acres of club space, 100 yard rifle range, airgun range, bullseye pistol facility, defensive pistol pit, two trap fields, walk through 3D archery, and the club has a bar/restaurant.

Club 2 $30/yr: 5000 members, 290 acres of club space, rifle to 300 yards, a dozen different pistol bays, indoor .22 range, 3D archery walk through, lighted trap fields, skeet, a fishing pond, club bar/restaurant.

Club 3 $35/yr: 800 members, 110 acres of club space, rifle to 100 yards, 2 trap fields, 3D walk through archery, 1 pistol facility with 3/5/7/10/15/25 yard shooting positions, and a club house.

None of these clubs have lane or use fees, unless you're renting a pavilion or clubhouse.

Fuck jigs and fuck drilling it myself because I'll probably fuck it up. I'm going to UGA next semester and was wondering if any of you know if I would be able to use the school's CNC mill or know what I would need to do to use it. I'm sure I can find plans online to use, just need the machine.

Also thoughts on the ghost gunner? $250 ($350 with shipping) doesn't seem bad for a cnc machine.

Well after much debate on what rifle to buy ive decided the AK platform is for me. But what gun does /k/ think I should get?

I like the idea of an AK74 style rifle, it has lower recoil and I think it looks a bit nicer too IMO

But AK47 style rifles seem to be cheaper and more companies make them.

Also I like optics and rail mounted accessories like pic related. And I know that ill prob have to buy the rails later after I get the gun, but it has to be compatible with such tacticoolness and not stuck being an purist's wet dream.

Useless -

I would give this award to Turkey for them being a conscript based army with no professionalism in their officer structure and general allah snackbar attitude. Turkey not having any indigenous military product or them not having any industry at all also makes them useless as they come other than few US bases they provide to USA. Even newly added Baltic states provide much larger geopolitical gains to NATO.

Incompetent - If we discount newly added ex Soviet states, Turkey again is the obvious choice specially compared to professional and highly trained army of Greece, Italy, France, U.K, U.S.A and even small states like Denmark and Netherlands

Am I right anons and what would be your choices.
