There's a chink in your armor.

Brit bong here
Went to merrica a month ago, shot my first gun.
>9mm or the.45?
>took the 9mm
>"I thought you brits were real men"
The fuck did I do wrong?
Nothing, he was just giving you shit.
Careful shooting .45
Shoot too much, or don't have proper technique, and you'll get the ol "45 elbow".
Pic related. Shot too much .45.

>The fuck did I do wrong?
He's just being a faggot by implying that taking the smaller caliber makes less of a man.
Have any of you ever had a gun drawn on you and you didn't have your gun with you but only a knife or nothing at all?
I want to know if it actually has ever happened to any of you yet because it fucking sucks when someone is aiming at you.
better question, whattafuck are those revolvers?
>>28426460
Exactly this. What the fuck is this awesome shit?
>>28426425
Yes but then I realized they had pulled some airshit pistol and I beat the shit out of them.

Seconded, they look weird and I must know more.
Name a SINGLE better plane ass than this
Not better, but I take it more plane ass won't bother
Hey, /k/! It's /tg/ here; I was hoping to benefit from your generous knowledge of history, weapons, and matériel, if you have the time.
The long and short of it is that I'm part of a group playing Call of Cthulhu- we've been set up in 1925 as part of what is essentially a black-budget FBI operation to infiltrate and take down a world-spanning cult. To this end, we have a substantial budget. We've been debating on what would be the best conveyance in terms of bang-for-buck/speed/flexibility/armament/shtf potential. So far we've come up with some pretty interesting ideas- maybe purchasing a smaller-end zeppelin with a scout plane and machinegun, maybe purchasing a seaplane tender, maybe going after a decommissioned U-Boat from the Great War, or even picking up a big flying boat, like an Aeromarine AMC.
Obviously they all have their strengths and weaknesses- we don't know if we're going to have to visit any landlocked cities, for example. So tell me; if you needed to carry around a bunch of men and guns to hunt cultists in the 20's (and need to possibly bomb/strafe/observe them from the afar) what do you think the best transport would be? Were there any other cutting-edge military gems we could seek to obtain that were around in 1925?
>>28426021
Seaplane is best plane
>>28426021
Also you should have people in the US government involved in the cult so then J Edgar realizes what he's up against and betrays his agents
>>28426021
A Fokker F. VIIb/3m would be a good all-around transport with the payload for extra gear/ordnance, especially if you modified it a bit.
Why doesn't the military issue reloading equipment to infantry units? Wouldn't it be cheaper to have infantry reload their own spent brass instead of buying it?
>>28425674
Because the enemy gives you time to police your brass during a firefight.
>>28425674
Because that's pretty fucking dumb, anyways the military already reloads brass
>trusting grunts with loading their own ammo
lolno, they'd fuck up their loads, guns and themelves.
>yo dawg, what if I load two bullets? what if I load a bullet backwards? what if I load pistol powder in the rifle cartridge?
I was thinking about getting my Medical card, but I like guns too much and I heard they could be taken away.
>inb4 degenerate
Haven't smoked the stuff in years, and don't plan to be habitual.
Does anyone have any experience in this area? (What it means, Purchasing a firearm, owning them, if they keep track on your background, ect)
I understand that it's still illegal on a federal level, I'm just looking for second opinions.
I wouldn't do it, I still hope for a time when it gets legalized though
>>28425667
You seriously posted this during day/k/are?
Guaranteed 300+ replies from straightedge office drones and degenerate faggots.
Do whatever you want, the gov't has made it clear they aren't going to enforce the laws against recreational users at a federal level.
>>28425667
Theorically they could take them away from you.
But if they do it for you, then they have to do it to everyone in the state.
Which is quite unlikely
.Can't wait for AWTF threads
Help me pick my first rifle, /k/. Here are my criteria:
>Must be semi-auto
>Cheap and plentiful ammo larger than .223 Remington
>Available in reasonable condition (i.e. bullets come out when you pull the trigger) for $400 or less
>Spare parts must be easily available
>Slavshit acceptable but alternatives are preferred
Right now I'm leaning toward an SVT-40 but I want to know if there's a better option. Pic unrelated.
>>28424446
If your not in syrupland SVTs wont be less than 400 bucks, however if your not then just get the SVT and know that I will be eternally jealous of your syrupland imports
>>28424456
Ah. I saw an ad for one going for $310 a while back, should've noticed it was from a hockeynigger site.

Hi Point C9 carbine.
Bought an original WW2 PU scope on ebay, and have the tracking number. Bought and paid for on December 8th of 2015. Estimated delivery via ebay is January 7th-25th. The only curious thing to me is it's been in transit to the United States after departing the Vnukovo International Airport. Been that way since the 19th of December. I'm just curious as to how long it would take for another update on it? Another week or two? Not anxious yet about it, just wondering what would hold up a plane sending a package for almost two weeks and no further update?
>>28423420
Why are you coming to /k/ instead of calling or e-mailing the people with your package?
>>28423629
I'm just asking people what their general experience is with a package coming from a place like Russia. Not asking them to fix MY problem, just what their experiences were. How long they waited on average.
it may be a while it will take some time to export it from russia and then once it gets here US boards and customs will have it for some time especially with how thing are at the moment and after that it should be on the way to you
P.S. nice buy btw! hop it gets to you soon!
I've been planning on buying my first handgun for my 21st birthday and found the one I want, pic very related, but I can't find it in stock anywhere. how have you guys dealt with similar situations? Any sites you'd recommend or could I just ask a dealer to order it from a wholesaler somewhere?
>>28420416
I don't buy special snowflake fedora guns so I can't help you.
Jesus Christ, don't buy some gimmick gun as a first handgun.
Just get something normal.

Here you go
Namthread is a go?
M16 is more accurate?
AK is more reliable?
Bitch, please.

That fucking OP image I swear to god.
Can anyone ID the thing pinned to his jacket next to the flower?

Please stop using this OP. If there isn't a thread, wait for someone else with the better OP to make a new one. Or save this one.

Things that piss you off about guns
>>28452487
>unironically carrying a revolver for self defense instead of a semi auto
Was with you up to this. 6 rounds of .38 and up is fucking plenty for self-defense if you spend time at the range
>10mm
>unironically carrying a revolver for self defense instead of a semi auto
What's wrong with either of these things? I shoot competition with 10mm because of the bonus points you get, not to mention carrying it as a bear-defense round.
My SP101 in .327 FedMag is a great gun. Easily controllable, accurate, slim, and just generally nice.
