Kek, faggot
Hello /k/ommandos! Sorry if this question has been asked a bunch before...
I'm in the mood for a home defense shotgun and I'm thinking I want a Mossberg 5** Tactical in 12ga. I like the appearance of it, it seems like a solid comfortable weapon and reliable for dealing with the chimpocalypse.
My question is, what is the difference I'm going to see between the Mossberg 500 Tactical, the 590 Tactical and the 590A1 Tactical?
Best as I can tell, component makeup.
Am I as a regular non /k/ommando consumer going to notice a realistic difference between these three worth the extra cost? Again, home defense and standard range target shooting for fun.
Suggestions?
Just get a 500 6 or 8 shot and buy an aftermarket aluminum trigger guard. You won't need the heavy barrel.

I have the 590 and it is a great scatter gun. Got it for 250 with the Knox stock from an old guy that bought it to hunt but couldn't handle 12ga anymore.(Bought it, he ran 1 tube through on a factory stock, one tube with the Knox) The fit is loose (as it should be on a Mossberg), I like the heat shield for aesthetics. I can highly recommend the stock as well if you plan on feeding it a lot of 3".
Benelli M4 with an ATI stock to make it look like a scary assault weapon
>Rack the slide after having held someone at gunpoint for minutes
>Anti personnel mine only explodes when you step off of it
>Defibrillator restarts heart
What grinds your gears?
>>28684710
>Defibrillator restarts the heart.
Not like a cold reboot, but that's pretty much what it accomplishes.
>Anti-personnel mine only explodes when you step off of it.
Some do, some don't, depending on the model.
>Rack the slide after having held someone at gunpoint for minutes.
Cuz they're a fag and didn't have a round chambered beforehand, but it's for the intimidation factor.

Do some homework faggot, the page explains how a mine kills you, not the exact mechanic of activation for every APM ever produced, of which the designs have varied greatly.
guys, tell me again why .40 sucks so bad. i forgot.
>>28684215
Shitty compromise meme caliber
Snappier than 9mm without being much more powerful or lethal, and offering reduced capacity.
truth is people can't handle the truth, true words yo
people suck at shooting so they want to shoot 9mm, however they forget that besides shot placement penetration is the 2nd most important thing. .40 can out penetrate 9mm by a mile and i fucked your mom
>>28684278
>by a mile
no.

5 years ago, myself and two friends took 6 mannequins to a unmanned range in MO. In short eventually the LLE showed up (podunk town) and all of us got tickets for failure to adhere to conservation rules. Failure to use paper targets only. We all had court dates for it, and we plead guilty since he witnessed us blasting them.
So now for every job I apply to I have to explain why I have a class B misdemeanor.
tl;dr
Shot mannequins at a range and got caught, now I have a Class B misdemeanor. How bad exactly did I fuck up /k/?
Should've researched the rules of the range instead of assuming you could shoot whatever you wanted there. A simple phone call probably would have sufficed.
>>28683627
Bullshit. Jobs only ask for felonies.
>>28683627
>we plead guilty since he witnessed us
Faggot. Even if there's almost no chance to get off free, it's your duty as an American to force the system to spend $30K for the $3K you spent on a lawyer.
Even outside of this specific scenario,
>admitting to anything
>not shutting the fuck up and waiting for a lawyer's instructions
You are a dumbass. Every American above the age of 12 has heard the "STFU with cops or you will just hang yourself and give them the rope to do it with" meme multiple times, often from their own parents and from educators. You and your friends should have taken it seriously. Moron.
Please commit suicide or sterilize yourself so you don't pass on the genes for credulity. You are so fucking stupid that you are effectively a nigger, whatever your biological race may be.
What is your most prized gun? What makes it so special to you? When did you get it?
For me, it's my Marlin Model 1895 GS. I mean, look at it. It's beautiful. She's an expensive girl to feed, but she is well worth the price. Nabbed it in October.
my Mosin M44.
A bit boring choice perhaps, but dat fireball & kick...man! Everyone who's gotten to try it calls it a "flame thrower" now.
Plus it's built like a tank.
My Mauser Model 71. All matching, no import marks, good condition, and still fires perfectly (with lighter loads of course).
>What is your most prized gun?
Probably my pre-Norinco Chinese AK
>What makes it so special to you?
On the technical side:
It is only one of only about a thousand rifles imported by it's importer, and these about a thousand rifles are some of the only AKs in the US actually marked on the receiver as an AK47 and not some sort of made up sporter model designation.
On the personal side:
It belonged to my stepdad and it was the gun I learned to shoot on when I was like 9 or 10. I have know idea how many rounds it's had through it over the years, and I have no idea how many of those rounds were from me. I used to be able to ask permission to get it from my stepdad's safe and go shoot in the woods in my backyard whenever I wanted as a kid
>When did you get it?
My stepdad gave it to me on my 21st birthday, and he bought it brand new in the mid-late 80s with a bunch of accessories and 1000 rounds of ammo for a whopping $350.
Hey /k/ the other day we had a really great thread on pixel guns, hoping we could get another one going

>Under the new deal—which still has to be approved by the Indian defense minister Manohar Parrikar and an Indian defense ministry cost negotiation committee—the Indians will pay $4 billion for a joint research and development effort, the Business Standard reports. The Russians would also pay $4 billion for their share of the project.
>A prototype would be flown in India within three years. The development program would upgrade fifty specific aspects of the PAK-FA design including more powerful engines and 360-degree sensor coverage to meet Indian requirements.

>>28682977
>Assuming the deal holds, India could eventually buy up to 250 FGFA fighters for its tactical fighter fleet.
I wonder how the Pakistan will react - it could decide to buy Chinese J-31`s to try to counter it.
>>28682977
>4 billion
>the original proposal was for 8+ billion
>having to slash the costs in half just to keep designated in the project

That`s odd, considering India wants bo buy French Rafales.
>"We have completed an inter-governmental agreement for the purchase of 36 Rafales, with the exception of the financial aspects," Mr Modi said after meeting Mr Hollande.

I'm wondering what is the best concealed carry weapon? I've been told the glock 19 is really good
>pic related
>what's the BEST
>THE BEST
>guys, I want to know what's the BEST
hate to break it to you faggot, there is no "best". Why don't you do some research on your own and find out what you want in a conceal carry gun?
>>28681891
That's what I carry, get some good Federal Premium hollow points for it and you're set
>>28681891
>reliable and accurate
obviously good for CCW
>affordable
nice if you have to use it, most likely the police wont give it back
>common
spare mags, any customization you want, holsters, lights etc. all easy to find
>very streamlined
no jagged edges, giant controls to snag on clothes or jab into you
pretty much the best, yeah.

Will this be a game changer once the Chinese overcome the guidance issues?
>>28681746

what if they overcame them already and forgot to tell us?
It isn't the first time somebody has threatened US carrier groups with ballistic missiles.
It's just not a great solution because A: There's no way to tell if a nuclear warhead has just been launched. and B: The kill chain is about an hour long.
Course it will, the ability to hit capital ships at sea from land from such immense distances is an incredible leap in capability.
Hell the only reason it gets so much vitriol instead of interest on here is because it's Chinese.
Hey /k/, I'm looking into slowly but surely building an AR, figuring rather than rushing to get as much parts as possible right now I'd take my time over months to acquire the exact kind of parts I want.
My question is what companies make decent A1 uppers? As well as the general price for said uppers.
A) Buy one from NDS and get ready for a 6-8 month wait.
B) Buy a parts kit
C) GunBroker
>>28681091
What about the brownell uppers, they any good?
>>28681298
>look on website
>Brownell's now offers NDS A1 uppers and lowers
Welp, that's new. Yeah, go for it.
Starting up a thread for air rifles and such. Post one if you have one and state your uses with it. Pic related, its a Swiss Tac Arms 1. 177.
