shit shop skills. I'm sorry.
Newfag here. Why is there so much hate for AR500 here? Is it a bad company/product? Pic not related.
>>28711384
It's only shilled because it's significantly cheaper than actual ceramics. Everyone on /k/ are poorfags.
Do you really think anyone here is willing to pay $400-$500 for a piece of metal that will potentially save your life? Did you really try to get into buying gear?
Fuck yeah you did but you're gonna compromise like a faggot and get condor so it doesn't matter.

its poorfag tier armor that cant stop a common round when fired out of a longer barrel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMYkEMhPsO8
also weight
Because its really not good enough.
Even if it wasn't penetrated by m193, the spall issues are bad enough. Because of spalling steel is not multihit. It's worse protection. It's heavier. There's no multicurve options. Ceramics have come down so much in price. $150 for armorwear, $180 for bulletproofme. No reason to be wearing steel anymore

>Italian government wants you to "take care" of the refugee boats coming to Italian soil
>you get $500,000 funneled to you through the mafia to outfit your crew
>must purchase boat(s), weapons, and ammo, fuel, and anything else needed for this 3 month operation
>there is also rumors that Isis personnel secretly escorting these refugee boats. They're rumored to have small arms and RPGs
>this operation is strictly clandestine and off the books
>if you're spotted engaging the boats, the mafia will disappear you.
How do you go about this? What do you purchase, and what's your mission plan?
hire a local fishing boat.

Why aren't these shitty shopping threads autoban?
Let's talk glass /k/, and while, we're at it, iron sights.
Things like
>do you like 3 dot, ball in bucket, 1 dot, or no paint iron systems more?
>variable vs fixed scopes
>how important is illumination in a scope, really
My big question is micro vs full sized aimpoint and aimpoint style red dots. In my location, red dots or low power scopes are king.
I've used aimpoint comp m4 in the guard, and I'm using a micro t-1 I borrowed from a friend right now. Eventually, I'm going to have to return this red dot. But when I do that, I'm not sure if I'll go pick up another t-1, or get a full sized aimpoint pro.
Now, the last time I did real shooting with a comp m4 was OSUT. I've had acog equipped m4s by chance everytime Ive shot with them.
Besides weight, what do I really lose with full sized red dots? I had no trouble nailing the 300 yard target in OSUT even though I has never shot a lot of ar15 and never with red dots before, but with the t-1, the dot seems fuzzy, and it seems to change depending on the time of day almost.
Finally, if I did decide to go full sized red dot, a new aimpoint pro, or a eBay comp m4?
Holy shit, not a very popular topic is it?
Why is this allowed?

Any other anons have their guns engraved? Local shop just got a laser and is only charging $25 for engravings so I gave it a go. Just replaced my PTR-32's polymer stock with a wooden one, so decided to have some fun.
>>28709053
Why would you do that to a perfectly good HK33 stock?
>>28709053
I think that's pretty fucking dank. I've been wondering how you'd do something like that. Did you just go to a gun store or a gun smith?
>>28709057
PTR-32 has the same stock and hand guard as the PTR-91. Besides, I like the engraving and I loooove the wood furniture (that replaced this) that I spent a week stripping, staining and re-finishing.
I got this thing for $105 at Cabela's
Anything in particular I should know about it?
Anyone have bad or good experiences with Benchmades?
>>28708545
I like my Benchmade fixed blade. I've beat the shit out of it and it just keeps on working fine.
Why do people not like them?
>>28708561
Do people not like them?
I was under the impression they were essentially the standard in knives.

I must have taken a few shit postings at face value then.
Anybody ever have trouble with Primary Arms? Cock suckers just sent me a used bolt carrier.
Funny you should start this thread now. I just got in the mail, less than an hour ago, a used PA Advanced Red Dot. It's scratched up externally and actually looks worse than the PA Red Dot that I already own.
By the way, it should go without saying, but I ordered a new item...

This looks almost new lol
/k/, I just had an idea.
Antifunz say that "Common Sense" gun laws are worth it if they save just one life.
Here's an interesting situation:
A terrorist walks into a crowded concert hall with bombs and an illegal machine gun. It's illegal for citizens to own guns in this country. There are, say a hundred people in there, but nobody has a gun. The attacker has no resistance, and 100 people die. France, anybody?
Now let's say we give the audience opposite circumstances.
Let's say we give 15% of the audience MAC - 10's, and another 15% compact pistols, because any citizen of this hypothetical country can legally own a machine gun.
The shooter still is able to kill a few people, shortly before being turned into a bloody mess by the ensuing hail of .45 ACP. People still die, but many more have been saved by the citizenry with machine guns.
Therefore, if we have almost nonexistent gun laws, it will save many lives from mass shootings. This is because everybody that the shooter attacks will be able to shoot back, and with greater or equal force, due to the average Joe having just as much firepower as anybody else.
>>28708415
Anti gunners don't function on logic, and the money backers pushing this shit don't care about saving lives. It's all about control in the end.
To operate on their level is pointless. You should try that again, but add more pathos.
>>28708415
Fighting them is worthless.
They have egalitarian socialist compassion of "Will to Nothing".
>>28708415
So the shooter starts shooting. Person A shoots back. Person B is not sure which is the good guy and which is the bad guy and shoots at Person A. Person C shoots Person B shooting at Person B and assumes that Person B is the bad guy. Person D and Person E are friends with Person B and so they shoot at Person C. Then you have all of the other people being hit by bullets flying around everywhere.

Do you think a terrorist organization could ever become as effective as the brotherhood of nod? Enough to take on modern militaries anid conquer more than some shithole in the middle east?
>>28707585
Yes, the CIA and the United States are very successful.
At that point they're just called "governments"
What's up with all the hate the 5.7 gets? It's a fun little pistol that's easy to shoot accurately, it looks great, and it's reliable.
But, for some reason. the gun gets so much hate you could easily identify it by how much trash is talked alone.
>>28707346
Nobody hates it per say.
We just get sick of the fuckers who tout the 5.7x28 as the best thing since sliced bread and say everything else is shit.
Also, expensive.
It's a fine pistol, but it's got a following that treat it like THE BEST EVER akin to the katana.
>>28707372
>>28707398
Do you also hate AKs because terrorists use them?
looking for an entry level AR-15 that wont break the bank but isnt a pile of ass. Also open to other rifles chambered in 5.56

Build yourself a Palmetto State armory poorfag special. Opt for the cold hammer forged barrel.
What is it, /k/? And why?
Pic semi-related.
Arizona if you like it mild to hot
Alaska if you like it mild to nordic (and out the ass shipping costs for guns and if you're lucky, ammo)

It's interesting seeing natural selection begin to take hold in a social context.
The weakest anti-government militia members are selected against, by getting their asses killed by the Feds.
