Thoughts on these? Are they worth it or are they just more mall ninja junk? What are some possible situations where a tactical pen would actually be beneficial?
Literally none you stupid shit

its a gimmicky "not-a-weapon" that may be better than nothing in places like commieforrnia.
Definitely something Gecko45 would have used.

Other than that nothing really.

Good point!
My sister lived in England for nearly 10 years after she married a brit that was twelve years older. Eventually they divorced and a couple years later she ended up marrying a Finn and moving to Finland. This last summer the family came to visit me in the South Western US and we got into the inevitable gun control discussion. She grew up around firearms, Dad and I used to hunt a lot and she even shot them a lot until she discovered that boys have penises and then she went after that. But now, having lived abroad she's convinced I should just give up my guns for the safety of everyone. Even when she was staying with me she made mention of a few times that she did not like having her six month old daughter in the house with guns. I told her it was fine, her daughter's father was a Finn Sniper, who's father was a Finn Sniper, who's father was a Finn Sniper that served in the Winter War. She did not laugh.
Some of things she said
>When I was living in the UK I never felt that my privacy was invaded
>I don't think anyone except LEO's should have weapons, it makes it safer for everyone.
>You can hunt rattlesnake with a stick or a bow.
>I don't feel that the US is the better country, I think the UK is the better country and I wish that the systems in place in the UK would come to the US. I might move back if they did.

>Why do you need 30 round magazines?
Why does your husband need 30 round magazines in his RK when he's serving with the Finn guard?
>Because he's military and you're not so you don't need that. What are you afraid of, you think that some mexican army is going to come over the hill and attack?
No, Skinwalkers will though
>you're just being unreasonable. There's no situation in where 30 round magazines are necessary
At least she calls them magazines.
She's a lot cause but have we fallen so far that these people are idiots? Her husband and father in law fully support gun rights. She on the other had is a complete and total moron.
What's there to be done?
>>28856865
>What's there to be done?
Just don't make any single compromise like "Well, you might be right on this one thing"
Eventually she will give up since nobody is giving her attention or that coveted halo of "I'm worried about X and thus superior to you" that strokes her ego.
She doesn't actually give a shit about magazine sizes or gun laws.
She just wants attention.

Anyone else get a M1 Carbine from CMP yet?
I went to the CMP store and got this last Thursday.
Here's another pic, it's a service grade.
>>28856541
No,
Because I'm just not interested I'm the m1 carbine.
But I did send off the paperwork for a cmp garand yesterday.
They had a bunch of Garands at the store, though no service grades.
Why is /k/ so hostile against precision shooting sports?
Is it just because they spend a lot of time shooting rather then just talking about it?
Is it because its really hard and you just cant manage to not look bad when you try it?
Is it because you just don't believe in working on fundamentals or good shooting forum?
Is it because you don't have the attention span to shoot a full set?
Don't ever start the shit about .22LR not being real shooting. You come do highpower or 300m if you put as much time into training as you do running your mouth
I really want to know why you are just a bitter shit talker.

It's specialized to the point of not being really applicable to the real world. I don't play baseball to help me oper8 better, either, despite the fact that some of the skills being used in baseball may be useful in oper8ing.

This. Its no longer having practical applications. They shoot .22's at paper with intricate stances and devices to assist them. Too specialized like ^ said.
A gun to me is a defensive tool, and the precision shooting like in your pic is far too specialized to be practical IRL.

You guys seen this? Barefooted Huthis are BTFO another Saudi M1A2! And with a fucking old-ass 9K111 Fagot ATGM!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL0iK2h5IuM
Fucking embarrassing. Tanks without APS are useless and are death traps. Anyone who signs up to be a tank crew member is insane.
BONUS: M113 also gets BTFO!

They could have an Armata, a K2, or a Leclerc and the result would be the same. Everyone jerks off over tank stats and whether the tiny differences between them makes them invincible but at the end of the day, if you don't know how to properly use a tank its useless.
See: All of the T80s that got BTFO in Gronzy
Tinitus.
That is your price of admission. You wanted to have your life in your hands and play for keeps, well you have to pay the price of admission. The price for our generation is that sound. Did you know its called a Siren song? That's actually the sound range that you can never hear again due to damage to the hairs off your ear drum that are killed when exposed to too loud of a noise. Now your brain is desperately trying to hear that range again so it creates its own sound or it will go mad with loss and lonely. That is your price. Each member of the club of doers must pay a price.
Payment of this price of admission guarantees nothing, but the chance to play the chance to maybe decide for your self how you live and die. The rest is up to you.
But, you have to pay the price of admission if you want the chance to play the game. It guarantees nothing, but your chance to play. I've paid. Have you paid, Anon?

So I'm getting my tax return soon and half is going to a rifle. Can any of you bullpupers tell me about your experiences? More specifically tavors and augs. Also does anyone know where I can find this Aug configuration
The Tavor is fucking great. Battle proven in Israel, works great with the Meprolight sights, pricey but worth every penny.
Fully ambi as well.
>>28852352
Get an AUG.
I held one.
I want one.
My shoulder feels wired not having one.
The Ergos are sex, it's weight is nice, it's ambidextrous, and did I mention it feels like sex?
>>28852378
>>28852377
Damn right out of the gate!
So here's what I've found so far
>Length
very similar
>Parts
Tavor parts exist, but it's too new for a good supply
Aug parts are available, but they ain't cheap
>Warranty
Tavor has a one year
Aug has no discernible clear warranty, but have seen pure conjecture that they are servicing even the early 80s Augs
>Ergos
Tavor takes the overall package with a nicer amphi setup and mag release placement
BUT
Aug has a lot of happy users as well, but the mag release is a problem
>Mags
Only going NATO style so IDGAF
