Looking to do an SKS scout build. Anybody recognize the mag in this image? I love the look of it.
>>29189653
Are you that faggot anon in milsurp threads who always takes milsurp rifles and Bubba them into shitty "scout" rifles and claims he cares for history? If so go kill yourself faggot
If not, that's probably a ak mag, but you should still kill yourself
>>29189653
Also,
>What kind of rails are those small ones up front
>How the hell did they swap the bayonet with more rail
>>29189653
That mag is sexy

10/10 thread OP.
tfw calico tries to improve sales by making them look cooler (not sure if cool is the proper term)
It's 2AM, you awake to the sound of shattered glass and your home alarm system going off. Your hot wife is startled. Your children's room is automatically locked, their window bullet proof and locked as well.
You hear rummaging down stairs, and immediately go for your gun safe. As you quickly open it and tell your wife to go to the kids room (you had a door installed that leads directly to it, with sound proofing), you hear someone coming up the stairs.
What gun do you grab and what is it loaded with?
How dead is the faggot coming up your stairs within the next five seconds?
Four sawn off nuggets taped together.
But fired backwards so the recoil knocks them back down the stairs and onto the four bayonet spears taped together.
>Officer I swear he tripped and fell like this
Of what I have on hand? Stab the upstanding citizen with my SKS, fire rounds into him, then go innawoods.
>>29189608
This made me laugh more than it should have
No, no.
It was funny.
It was very, very funny.
>>29189651
Will you remove kebab in the process? If not you can leave.
Hey /k/ I've noticed a lot of threads like
>if you have $3k what do you buy
>I have $300 for my first gun
And so on.
We should really make something like Logicalincrements.com but for guns. We don't even need a website. Logical increments started as a png file that would get updated every few months. Guns change a lot less than computer parts, so an image guide every year or so would be cool. This way newer users can find a starting point for their purchase, as only good value/$ and good quality guns would be on the guide.
I don't know a whole lot on guns, but I would be willing to make a decent looking guide if people more knowledgeable than me on guns could get together a list of what guns to buy at what price points.
What does /k/ think?
>>29189372
>What does /k/ think?
shit idea.
too much variety and too much subjective opinion.
The type of people that would use it would just get hipoints.
I think everything is a trade off and you're going to have continual arguments about what to prioritize.
Weight vs. Accuracy
Accuracy vs. speed
Reliability vs. Accuracy
etc... etc... etc....
Here's what I'd build, see if everyone agrees.
AR-15
16" 1:8 twist, bull barrel with midlength gas system
Low profile gas block under free floated rail
Free float rail that have covers the noveske flash hider (boomer forwardener)
Rock River Arms Lower
Upper receiver of who gives a shit, doesn't matter
Chrome bolt carrier
Non-chrome lined barrel
CTR stock
1x4 illuminated scope and NO back up sights.

It's a decent enough idea. Prices have been holding fairly steady for most guns.
And it would make it easier, especially if we put the link in the sticky. We have a couple pics of approved full size 9MMs but its getting old.
Night /k/ could help out a hell of a lot more than day/k/are
I just got my tax refund. With that and some money Ive saved Im planning to get a crate full of mosins. Wheres the best place to get a crate from?
2014
Tim's. Get some Tim Bits too
That's the coolest coffee table ever. I wish I made more money.
Just pick this up for 400$ , how did I do?
Norinco type 56. Matching # , 1978 production year. Has a pretty unique/rare factory code
Also sks thread
>>29189130
Fuck it boy fuck it
>>29189130
I've only owned a yugo, so does the cleaning rod stay in without the bayonet?
Pretty standard going price for the SKS these days. Sad to say that.
>got my first SKS back in 06 for 175
>tfw we will never see those prices again
Keltec is a good realiable brand they said.
Just get a keltec they said.
>UPDATE 4/13: The reader who was injured by the Kel-Tec KSG sent this updated photo of his wound. The surgeons saved the hand, but he lost some fingers. As in the previous accident, the shooter said his VFG broke of the KSG’s rail.

>Use this magpul look alike VG from arisoftsupplies.com they said
>it's the same thing they said
>it will save you $20.00 they said
isn't this the guy who decided to put his hand in front of the KSG's muzzle?
>>29189000
>>magpul look alike
magpul actually makes airsoft versions of their accessories
>>29189021
>isn't this the guy who decided to put his hand in front of the KSG's muzzle?
Yes.
>Charlie don't surf!
what did he mean by this?
Obviously reprimanding some guy named charlie for surfing
>>29188790
One of the cameramen was named Charlie and he didn't know how to surf
>>29188790
Charlie is lingo for 'VC' or 'Victor Charlie' in phonetic alphabet.
He means the enemy doesn't surf, so it's okay to surf.
So im watching Fear the walking dead and it has me thinking.
how prepared are you guys.
Im probably pretty fucked unless i get ontop of it early.
I have probably about 150 rounds of ammo for about 6 differnt guns.
I have two axes, a couple of knives, and between me and my brother about 4 descent swords/only one is mine but me and my brother live together.
I have a place to go, hunting land about 45 minutes away. remote enough to keep the dead away for a few weeks.
a weeks worth of can food, and there are supplies at base camp.
problem is one of my brothers lives 20 minutes in one direction with his wife and newborn son, my mom and her husband live about 20 minutes the another direction/ both live about an hour and 30 minutes from base camp.
But i also have to get my friend and her kids, i can pick them up on the way to camp.
but she will want to get her asshole dad and her schizo brother about 20 minutes in the opposite direction.
I also have to get my blind grandma and other grandma they both live in the city about 45 minutes from me.
plan is to tell everyone to meet me at the lake and then escort them to base camp.
like i said pretty fucked unless i get ontop of it early. im pretty screwed cuz of my family.
I also have some cousins an aunts who might need help as well.
as a whole group probably two thousand rounds of ammo.
>>29188774
Pretty fucking prepared since zombies are impossible.
>>29188800
way to go, but a zombie apocalypes plan can apply to just about any SHTF situation
>>29188826
Not really
Is there something dumber than a revolver chambered in a semi auto caliber?
>>29188575
A revolver chambered in full auto caliber???
Go away kid.
>>29188575
Someone who calls it a semi auto caliber?
What is the minimum take-off distance for an F-35B? Assume full combat load.
>>29188394
'Bout tree-fiddy
>>29188394
45ft
I don't even think they can take off vertically.
Hey /k/ I'm think of making gun here's the plan
>caliber: .38/10mm
>sights: leaf/scope
>rate of fire: full auto/semi
>mag: drum
>loading: top
>stock: skeleton
>materials: stamped steel and super Maple for grip
What do you think? (Pic unrelated)
Come on guys
>>29188224
I think you're going to need a fucking education in gun design and mechanics before making a thread like this. Even 10 minutes in a Wikipedia article would make you realize you've forgotten some very important bits of weapon design.
Ok once you catch the gun bug and lurk /k/ for a while. What are good gun forums to move into. K is good for memes but too much broscience and shitposting takes its toll.
Brian Enos forum is the place to go to be around people who are actually serious about shooting and not tactical gearqueers
Honestly I just use industry blogs and Tumblr these days for weapons and military
>>29187363
I just ordered 600 rounds of PRVI 9mm 147gr JHP from aimsurplus cause it's only a few bucks more per box than Blazer fmj. Does anyone have experience with it? What's a good way to test its expansion if I don't have access to ballistic gel? Fill up a bunch of milk jugs with water?
Did I goof?
Also general carry ammo thread. What do you carry and why?
>>29187237
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKbzhyBo-PM
>you bought FMJ with a hole in it
Why didn't you at least buy 1980s American JHP that's been used by cops to kill people before???
http://www.ammunitiondepot.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=9MS&Click=17909
Speer Gold dot JHP, because it's the best.
>>29187456
God damnit
I didn't even look at the picture closely before ordering. Fucking junk.
Luckily, I already have 200 rounds of 115gr Gold Dots. How come I never see 147gr Gold dots anywhere?
Let's discuss about this for a moment.
And before any of you start jumping about weapons not being related I can assure you this is directly weapons related in terms of firearm business.
Now have any of you ever used the stock market and if it's yes then congratulations this is what this thread is about but if not then either stay around and learn about it or just ignore this thread.
The stock market is a very interesting thing in terms of money making and keeping up with the news but considering how whenever the gun control group proposes anything that would result gun control there will always be those that will rush into gun store and panic buy ammo and guns now lets not look at this as a bad thing but a good thing.
When there is a gun scare there is a rise of gun purchase and ammo purchase which results in rise of stocks relating to guns.
In short if you brought stocks in gun company and ammo company you will make alot of money thanks to politicians and gun control groups.
Let's have a stock market on gun business thread.
a lot of people out there are worried about their own equity being diversified with derivatives
take a look at this equity line, and all the dividends are venturing off into financial capitals overshadowing the markets' commodities
and all these numbers are going to add up to one thing and that is that this stock market is the best thing ever
>>29187153
the thing about each one of these derivatives, is that nobody is even talking about right now is that each one is full of 90% interest
