/k/, I'm about to buy some land (8 acres). There is a hill behind the property, but also has some farmland that I believe has cattle. I need to build a backstop/berm and want to know what the idiot-proof method of this is going to be.

I spent 3000 hours in paint to illustrate how the property is laid out as well as the neighbors.

Wooded land illustrated stretches for miles and is hilly immediately after my property ends - the house on the top left is on the other side of a hill but I don't want anything to even get to that part of the hill. How do?

Well the Norks have a massive military, a willingness to use it and the home field advantage.

I mean they torpedoed a warship as recently as 2010.
>>
>>29287467
I'd honestly imagine that they'd be the first out of all of them to use a nuke.

They're ballsy, but kinda outdated.
>>
>>29287485
that's the thing. Because North Korea acts like an irrational actor, it is very hard to know if they'd be willing to use nukes in their own territory or at all or if they'd be willing to escalate into an all out war in which the possibility of nukes being used comes up.

The biggest issue isn't whether or not the US can defeat DPRK, but how quickly and to what extent can they prevent the DPRK from using nukes in its own soil.

Irregardless of winning, the moment they use nukes we've lost in terms of stopping the deaths of potentially thousands if not millions of people (Seoul is within some Nork arty range) and if reports are true about norks miniaturizing the nuke, it could be used in arty pieces if not the radioactive material itself could be used to create a dirty bomb

While slightly less pants-on-head retarded than knife fights, swordfights were plenty dangerous for all those involved. You couldn't seriously expect to get out without at least one nasty wound.

How are you molding your body into the perfect weapon?

>what is your weight?

>what is your routine?

>what is your military pt score?

>do you practice a martial art?

On a related topic, what is a practical martial art to get involved in?

Also, I'm going to basic over the summer at benning, how much weight do people usually lose at basic?
>>
>>29287129
5'9" 170 lbs

Per week:
1x run LSD 6+ miles, 2x run 3-miles, 2x ruck 4-miles.
Lift 3x (Full body strength routine. squat twice, dead once) (AM 3 mile runs, PM lift)
Calisthenics on ruck days.

APFT 260, only been hitting it hard for the past couple months though. Started off hungry skeleton who couldn't run a mile.

No martial art, but usually hit the heavy bag at least once a week for some conditioning.
>>
>>29287129
My best results so far are:

> pushups: 80 something
> situps: 82
> 2 mile run: 13:48

max score is 280, but I could've done much better (maxed) on pushups (planks killed my shoulders)

>>29287302
what was your score on each section?

There is LITERAL - FUCKING - LEE no reason for future small arms to not be mainly integrated with a HUD for aiming and MAYBE iron sights as integrated backup.

It's safer, quicker, and would require less training and active accuracy.

What makes you think that failure points will increase? Electronics dont have as many moving parts and iron sights have plenty of limitations the HUD would fix.

>>Need to familiarize soldiers with software

What the fuck are you talking about? In order to give it to grunts it'd be extremely simple to use like iPhones are. It's called human factor development

hey /k/,

turning 21 next month, been looking at a bunch of hammer fired handfuns, and narrowed it down to an SP2022 (really leaning towards this) a CZ75 and a couple others that im not considering too much.

Anybody who owns an SP2022, how do you like it? the gun store/range near me has one on sale for about 430$. Looking for one in 9mm. I just need to find a range that'll let me rent one and check it out, and I should be sold

No troll or anything but I really don't understand why anyone would buy a p2022 when you can pay only a couple hundred more and get a 229 or 226 which are a nicer investment that will last a lifetime
>>
>>29286957
a couple hundred is a lot of money for some people
>>
>>29286957
every 226/9 i've seen was closer to 1k, and I'm a broke ass college student who can't really spend that much on a handgun. the sp2022 at the gunstore is actually cheaper than MSRP on sigs website, which is why I'm seriously considering it

He's holding a gun as well, dipshit

Hello /k/, /g/entleman here.

In the recent light of Georgia passing the Campus Carry bill, I've decided to arm myself on campus, due to the fact that I carry well over 1500 dollars worth of computer equipment and software on me daily. I really don't know much about guns, but I am willing to learn. Any recommendations? My price range is at maximum 400 dollars. Thanks /k/ keep being awesome. I'd like something like pic related. But calibers and stuff is beyond me.

Have you considered not flashing your macbook and hipster peripherals like a sorority member wearing a nanoskirt begging to get raped so she can cry about it on TV?

Have you considered that if you are robbed, it will likely be from leaving an item somewhere where it can be taken, or in an encounter where by the time you can even think of drawing your gun, you've been stabbed or clubbed fifteen times by Tyrone playing a knock-out game?

Hey Irish /k/ommandos, American here.

Going to Ireland for a week at the end of May.
Anyone want to meet up? Perhaps we can shoot skeet or something. How is the situation there with guns anyway?

I'll be staying in Dundalk but I'll only be free for a couple days during the trip since its a college trip. Doing some media archaeology stuff.

Heard some CCR on the radio today and thought of all those Vietnam War movies and tv specials, and it occured to me how little I know about all of it.

Do any of you have any stories that you'd be willing to share? Anything emotional, funny, sad, exciting etc?

Anyways, just curious. Thanks in advance
