Either.

The one that had an energy advantage and surprised the enemy.
>fw190 swoops in from 30,000ft and brings them both down
What age did you join? And what would the oldest sensible age be if you wanted to join?

i found out my wife was cheating on me so i enlisted in the marines on my 29th birthday. garrison life is boring but im having fun fucking hookers and not thinking of my wife or her son
>>34725674
i came in the corps when i was 17. it wasn't bad because i had no other life experiences so it was a good learning experience. fuck joining as an enlisted if you're above 24. at 21 i made sergeant and got the fuck out. i can only imagine how shit life is when you're a boot and you're only a few years shy of the fucking company commander.
enlisted at 17 yrs and 6 months old

I want a gunstock club for some autistic reason.
Where can I get one that can withstand the rigors of bashing someone's skull in?
Just build yourself one. 20-24mm high grade multilayer birch plywood is affordable, easy to work with and almost indestructible. I build high performance slingshot frames out of that stuff and is incredibly tough.
cold steel made some out of a strong polymer for awhile.

they also make a ball club
ITT: We assess our /k/ population, discuss trades, sales, meet-ups, hunting, drinking, etc.
Caddo parish, checking in.
Considering armslist is such shit here, not a bad idea.

I remember $89 mosins, but this looks pristine.
Anon make a weapon. The wackier the better.
Look up the Grand Pinger.
That is a good one, but I mean can we post ideas to make a weapon fucked up?

>fully automatic revolver
>chambered in .338LM
>30 round cylinder
>cannot be part loaded
>cannot be held with two hands
>can only shoot in full auto or 30 round burst
>has no iron sights
>has no mounting points for anything other than a beyonett
>made of a very cheap and extremely brittle Chinese plastic
>need to place hand over the muzzle to disable safety
>Plastic gun.
>People calling it perfection.
>implying synthetic polymers are not a major breakthrough in materials science
Shit is light, tough, hard and cheap. That's the closest to "perfect" we have now.
>>34723974
It's an ugly un-ergonomic-un-aesthetic plastic piece of shit that has zero redeeming characteristics except that it always goes bang when you pull the trigger.
I don't like Glocks and I doubt I'd ever buy one, but I respect it as a tool.
>>34723974
Actually it's not "People" but marketing department
Adulthood is realizing that FN Browning made more sense
My dad's hi-power was one of the first pistols I shot growing up, I love that thing. Still one of my favorites, may have to get one for myself some day. I'd like to try a CZ-75 as well though.

But the 1911 looks better

1911 is a Browning invention you mong
what was the best wehr camo
>>34723485
the one that lost the war
>>34723485
Probably what you posted.
Camo was alot easier to make back then, being as everything was in black and white
>>34723485
wehrmacht didn't have very good camo compared to the SS
Is an SVD a worthy purchase?
>inb4 Dragunov
There are others that are much more wallet friendly made by other countries, such as the Romanian PSL.
I've been reading/watching accuracy tests and it seems to be a solid DMR but could I be getting more bang for my buck with something else?
Help me out here /k/.
>>34723185
PSLs aren't SVDs. They are PSLs. And they are cheap shit. Surplus ammo is gone. They don't shoot particularly accurately. They are just giant AKs.
This was a fucking dumb thread that should be in qtddtot.
A PSL isn't an SVD. It's a completely different rifle that is derived from the RPK.
>>34723185
If you want a DMR that presents great bang for your buck just buy or build an AR-10.
Is the concept of a "creeping barrage" still used today?
>>34722870
Yes, it happens whenever a girls Facebook gets posted on 4chan
>>34722873
Why not?
>>34722883
because trench warfare isn't the norm anymore
We literally have high power lasers on air planes. Why not put the generator and lenses on the ground on a tall tower (to get higher over horizon and get more range) and put them around forward bases?
On the ground you can have much bigger generators powering much powerful or more smaller less powerful lasers.
You can have pin point vaporization of peaceful beheaders over kilometers away.
>>34722401
The primary limiting factors of lasers are heat and power. It's more complicated than that but most of the issues come down to these two factors.
The heart of the issue is that lasers tend to be 10 percent efficient or less. This doesn't sound too bad until you realize that all that energy goes somewhere and most of it goes to heating up the laser. So for every watt you send out at the target you get 9 watts into the lasing medium. Good coolant systems can help with this but they're heavy and power intensive and that brings us back to problem #2 power.
SO, lets say you want to shoot some asshole in the head. Shooting at a ground target often means dealing with dust and debris. A bit of fog or sand will cut your already pathetic efficiency in half and the heat from the laser strikes will create updrafts that toss more smoke and dust and steam. Yes steam. You're going to be broiling plants if there are any.
The good news is that if they don't have polarized lenses even a 10 kilowatt range laser will fry their retinas before they can blink. Kinda handy for suppression fire.
Other than that, look into something called THEL. Tactical High Energy Laser is something the army has been working on and they just got a working prototype a few years ago. It's really an air defense platform capable of shooting down cruise missiles or SRBMs. Plausibly, it could take on aircraft but that hasn't been tested.
>>34722401
I'd rather something like a laser anti-mortar, artillery and rocket defence over keeping the great unwashed from shooting at us. Small arms and individuals really aren't that much of a threat compared to shit that can go flying in out of nowhere, they're unpleasant yes, but not exactly something you can't deal with on a much more conventional basis.
MORE FUCKING LASER TOWERS!
