I would pay good money for a good quality modern 32 pocket pistol. Bonus money if it's a double stack (is that possible with a semi-rim?).

32 is not much worse than 380. It has proven adequate for self-defense for a hundred years, and that's with inferior loadings to what we have today.

There's been a handful of doublestack .32s so it is indeed possible.
I concur that it's also very under appreciated in the US and is imo the best round to shoot out of PP style handguns, especially PPK sized ones

does anyone else have liberal cuckfuck family and friends? For the most part I consider myself pretty liberally minded in most things, but when it comes to self defense and second amendment rights I break the mold. I feel like I dont belong to the liberal community but I also dont belong to the conservative community :(

Who else knows these feels? Why the fuck does everything have to either be completely black or completely white? Whatever happened to having moderate viewpoints on different things?

Dunno man.

I carry, but I'm a cop, so the biggest thing that pisses my shit off is say I'm out drinking with my buddy or something and a guy gets in his face and he says something stupid like..

>HEY! IF I WERE YOU I'D BACK OFF! MY BUDDY RIGHT THERE'S A FUCKING COP!

that leaves me in a situation where I kinda have to respond, but at the same time I could get royally fucked up because we're in a bar and lolnocarry because alcohol.

So I ended up working security at a party in a sketchy neighborhood and there was a shootout from a fight that started inside and my bersa .380 ended up jamming on me(it's been doing this a bit at the range as well) but luckily the other guard had a glock 19 on him. It was cleaned not too long before that night too so it wasn't cause it needed cleaning. My question is: what gun should I replace it with that is concealed carry?

>>
>>29401853
If you like glocks, a glock 43 will do just fine if you want a small frame. You can also conceal a glock 19 if your build suits it.
>>
Alright I'm not normally like this but your CC piece should be 100% reliable no questions asked. A cz, glock, or sig are all great choices. For your situation I'd go with a cz p-07, they're easy to conceal, shoot great, not pricy and 100% reliable. If you have a gun that messes up 10% at the range, don't carry it, don't bargain your life on that 90%

Any archeryfags around here?

I recently participated in a competition where we had to walk around a big forest and then shoot at 3D archery targets of various animals, fun as fuck and I learned a lot.

Now, I want to get better since my bow is just a cheap longbow that I got on Amazon, I noticed that it hindered my accuracy because of all the vibrations and shit.

What bow should I get in order to upgrade? I want to buy something that can grow with me, so I don't mind payer +1k for a bow.

It has to be a traditional bow, so no compounds and Olympic target bows.

What does /k/ recommend?

Stop what you're doing and watch this video, before you make any of the wrong decisions or buy into the hype that is modern archery. Lars Andersen has studied the actual historical texts that warrior archers learned from, and compiled a style created from accurate, practicality driven teachings. Modern archers will want to load you up with all kinds of compounds bows, sights, quivers, carbon fiber arrows, etc. These are all generic consumer products that will not actually help you grow as an archer, rather hinder you by building bad habits and reliance on them.

Seriously, don't fall into the modern myths of archery, the study is changing and Lars is leading the way, following him is following thousands of years of far more effective archers than we can hope to become today.
>>
>>29401021
>I noticed that it hindered my accuracy because of all the vibrations and shit.

Unless the bow is absolute shit tier, you really just have to work on form, first and foremost since you are a lot more integrated into the action than say, firing a firearm.

In terms of vibration, there's always going to be vibration, unless you start putting weights and stab rods on your bow, but that's getting too ahead.
>>
>>29401255
>don't go into ____
>go into ____ instead
Lars is not the hero god you seem to love putting up there.
It's like you're trying to tell someone not to get into semiautomatics because it's not traditional and handloading is the only true way to get into shooting.

Do whatever you feel driven to do, OP. Hell, you can even get into all forms of archery if you so choose. The sport is small, so you'll meet quite a lot of cool people, but don't let people like >>29401255 try and dictate you on being "credible".

I think you'd be better off with a Taurus Curve, or better yet a Glock 43, but can understand the appeal of this. It'd also be better if it was chambered in .357 magnum instead of .38spc.

Some women want to conceal carry without actually having a gun. This is perfect for that. I have to question how quickly it can go from being folded up to having the handle down and ready to fire.
>>
I enjoy all the butthurt the concept is causing, but in reality you'd be better off with a regular 380 derringer.

I've become addicted to ArmsList, /k/.

I recently learned about it on here (never dealt much with private sales/used guns, always bought new or at gun shows) and I've bought/traded four firearms in the last two weeks. I check this shit constantly now; I'm going to need to reevaluate my budget with all these good deals.

To have a point of this thread, post interesting private sale stories.
