This may sound ridiculous, but I'm trying to find a purpose for my Deagle brand Deagle besides it being a range toy.
How could I feasibly carry one? I have family who live in shittier parts of town and something like that is intimidating to dindus.
>>29390553
Buy a shoulder holster.
If you want to CC something that big it's the best way to do it.
>>29390553
truck gun? kinda expensive if your vehicle gets robbed but only thing i can think of.

Should I get my suspension overhauled if I am going to keep a deagle in it?
Self defence in Canada is an iffy subject that leaves too many people the victim of both violent crime and poorly written law every year.
Self defense tools such as pepper spray and stun guns are illegal to own taking away what would seem like the most effective self defense measures.
Carrying anything for the purpose of self defense carry the same punishment as concealed weaponry with hefty fines and lengths of imprisonment.
So with all that being said, us law abiding citizens are left completely disarmed by the law while those who seek to do harm to others carry firearms, knives, batons and even pepper spray and tazers.
In the next few posts I am going to walk you through legal self defense in Canada and how to try to avoid being a victim of violent crime and also poorly written laws that often backfire on the innocent.
>>29390334
Exact same here in Ireland. The only possible saving grace is that it's legal to own stab and bullet resistant garments here
So how do I defend myself in Canada?
Well it is easier then you think. Under Canadian law if you believe that someone is going to do great bodily harm or be the cause of your expiration you are permitted to do whatever within reason to make sure that does not happen.
Now what is within reason? That is the catch.
Within reason means whatever a "Reasonable" person would do. An example of this thinking is as follows
>Tyrone confronts Jason late at night on Toronto streets.
>Tyrone says give me all of your money or I will kill you
>Jason gives Tyrone his wallet but is then assaulted anyway
Jason has reason to believe that this man is willing to kill. After being attacked Jason now has reasonible grounds to defend himself.
>Jason takes his collapsible baton out of his belt holster
>Jason proceeds to break Tyrone's arm
>Jason proceeds to break Tyrone's nose
>Jason proceeds to break Tyrone's fingers individually while singing amazing grace
This is considered under Canadian law to be an "excessive amount of force". Jason went above and beyond with his defense strategy completely eliminating the threat of further violence to himself and others. However to the courts self defense ends as soon as the target is no longer in control of the fight.
cont.
>>29390449
The courts would find Jason on the following charges for the above story.
>Carrying a concealed weapon
>Assault
Even though Jason was doing what he thought was right at the time it is up to the court to decided how you should react, and it is their job to make an example of you so others know not to do the same thing. Jason was not using head head, if he was he would have remembered how to Properly Defend Yourself Under Canadian Self Defence Laws.

I want a single shot 12 gauge for my bushcraft/bug out kit. What is a good lightweight one?
If you don't mind used, there's the old Cooey 84 (or Winchester 370/37A). For new, Yildiz makes the TK-12. It folds up pretty nicely, and is light. On the other hand, it's light to the point where I'm not sure I'd like shooting it (under 5 lbs). Could you make due with a 20 gauge instead?
>>29390255
I would prefer a 12 gauge because I will also have a 12 gauge to ___ Short Lane conversion kit. I was thinking of buying the Winchester 101 Over/Under but it has an auto eject feature for the shells and I don't know how that would effect the Short Lane.
>>29390291
The Short lane has a little gap for where the ejector sits- just position the gap properly, and the ejector won't pop it out. I have the somewhat similar X-Caliber set, and I got it to work in my Mossberg 500 that way (You have to pop out one of the extractors in that case, however).
I have decided I want a revolver. My budget is about 1000 dollars and I want something quality. Recommend me a .357 probably in the 2-6 inch range.

Chiappa Rhino.
Ruger gp100 sounds like what you need.

Could you make a normal weapon work as an airburst weapon like pic related?
I was thinking more like a 12 guage shotgun that fires a larger projectile that can carry more explosives.
Would it be as simple as using the type of sight used on the XM25 and similar ammo?
Budget converted 12 guage airburst systems when?
I loved the aesthetic of ancient weapons being retrofitted with high tech to keep them functional
>>29389847
Me too, but thats sort of happening in Ukraine where old Maxims are bolted together and a red dot sight attached.

What the hell is up with all of this recent honeypot clickbait ATF made threads and why the fuck are you fucks so naively going on there and posting on these obviously monitored threads!?
Can anyone explain why the fuck this is now a recent thing going on?
This thread was instantly removed before it could even stay for more than one minute which further proves my point about this suspicious shit going on right now!!!
Those threads are literally the heart and soul of /k/. Like, if someone asked me what kind of threads /k/ has, I would say those- besides maybe adding the occasional camo/surplus/patch shilling.

Easily Navy.

So I'm about to buy my first rifle. I looked at other more refined options but then I found this. 1942 most likely Tula/Izhevsk mfg Mosin Nagant. $250 with 300 rounds of nugget food.

looks ok. I'd try to talk him down a bit, though.
I'm thinking about picking this thing up.
I can't find any information that this P226 edition ever existed, it is most definitely not the Blackwater edition, the logo is completely different. Since it was made in Germany the seller told me that Sig USA couldn't tell him anything about it.
Can anyone confirm the sellers story that this was issued to a Blackwater operator?

I thought that the military required you to hydrate yourself frequently enough to make it easy for you to pass MREs.
The only thing that could cause constipation like that would be medicine.
I've suspected they secretly mediate troops or use them to test covert pharmaceuticals...
Never had any evidence aside from the legendary MRE shits.
Maybe it's just the powers way of punishing people that don't hydrate properly? Or do MRE shits happen regardless?
>>29387928
hey you must be a scientist.
but no hydrating yourself is an uphill battle when you sweat just as fast as you can force water into yourself. Most soldiers and marines are indeed taking meds like pain relievers or the like. You CAN prevent MRE shits by drinking a fuck ton of water and not holding it in for days on end but thats easier said than done

What are historic guns like as an investment?
Say a genuine Nazi Luger with SS markings or something.
Most don't gain value.
Full autos are decent but take decades to be worthwhile to sell. Even then something could change which makes them worthless. Things like opening the registry or a total ban would wipe out value.
Unique historic guns are expensive as fuck and take decades to be worth selling. Your run of the mill German Luger with matching numbers, wooden mag, holster, bring back papers, etc are only going to be worth money if they were taken from someone noteworthy.
You can buy a bunch of AR lowers for $50 a piece and bet on an AWB that allows transfers on grandfathered guns, but that is a long shot. Could net you 400%, but also you could end up with 100 non-transferrable lowers.
>>29387005
A Nazi German Luger pistol with all parts matching, in good, original condition, can go for over $2000
The U.S Army trials .45ACP Luger pistol that still exists, like in your picture, has been valued at $1 000 000
>>29387005
Buying guns as an investment kinda feels wrong for me.
Guns are something to hoard, never sell, and love forever.
