At what age should a child learn to shoot?

Boring answer: when they are old enough to grasp the gravity of the hobby and follow instructions.

Well shit /k/, <insert foreign threat> has gone and occupied the <your end> of <your home country>. You've got one rifle with you, whether alone or part of a group, what do you carve on it?
Pic related isn't mine, but would probably be somebody's.
>>29451285
Nothing. Only cunts name their rifles.

Is this absolute clusterfuck indicative of the logistics of the whole armed forces?
Like 7 different chassis for APCs, 8 different models of truck, 40 different ration menus...
God damn this is full autist.
modernized battleship with 9 x 18 inch guns.
Can you fuck off back to nation states, faggot?

>It’s beyond rumor at this point. According to multiple sources familiar with various aspects of the program, H&K’s entry for the Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System (CSASS) program was selected earlier this week for procurement by the United States Army. Other finalists were LMT and FNH USA.
>The entry, named the G28E1, was displayed at SHOT Show in H&K’s booth. Interestingly, it incorporates an OSS Suppressor.

Jesus Christ she's nasty
Also what meme? Ruger has lots of products, some are good and some are not so good
>>29451798
Eh, I'd fuck it. She's not fat and she's young enough where she hasn't ballooned yet. Ugly enough to be clean of STDs.
I'd dive.
>>29451017
They have some good stuff. The 10/22 is kind of 22's and the lc9 is a great carry piece. Their guns are sexy af too.
are there stocks that can go on any buffer regardless of length?
>>29450841
Yes
>>29450855
is the mp5 stock one of those? i'm debating on getting a GSE super short buffer tube with it, or just a MVB ARC PDW style stock.
the MVB would let me use milspec BCGs, but it's around an inch longer, and i don't see myself using anything more than 9mm given i wanna bring this to an indoor range. in any case it's a pain since the GSE is out of stock for a while. i'm curious how the weighting would fair.
>>29450883
The MVB ARC stock you had pictured comes with its own proprietary buffer tube. You can't use any other buffer tube with it. It's super short though, so you should be good.
So if we had a battleship with 100+ sea ram/AA missiles (like how WW2 battleships had 100+ AA guns), would it be sufficient to protect it from a carrier attack?
The battleship would obviously cost way less than a carrier loaded full of planes.
Carriers have attack sub escorts, so no.
>>29451042
those arent part of the carrier
Battleships better have metal ramming dicks so that way it can be used to pound right into the Japanese navy when they decide to attack again
Your country's police are going to raid your house, and you can't get out.
You have 2 hours to prepare to protect yourself
How fucked are you?
>>29450345
Fucked. But I won't be dying alone.
In fact I'd probably go on the offensive
>>29450345
Spend Rhodes two hours getting across the boarder or killing myself because as it stands I'm fucked.
Im fine because i have nothing illegal.
Soviet infantry dude from a while ago here. Thought you people might have more questions.
>>29450322
Opinions on the modern Russian army?
How different do you think it is?
If you could improve the AK-74 in any way, what would you do?
Bakelite or steel for AK mags?
Favorite marching song?

How much did you starve?

Oh, also, most seen non-standard piece of equipment (bottle openers, pocket knives, in general, stuff taken with the soldiers that wasn't really supposed to be there)
Update #3.
The NPO paperwork is being filed this week or next in South Africa.
Incorporation in the U.S. being filed next week.
I've begun organizing the video I'd like to use for the gofundme/indiegogo fundraising campaign. I have hours and hours of it.
I'm giving some thought to buying a house in the eastern cape to act as a base of operation and a place for rangers to bunk in downtime/off days. Property in South Africa is really cheap compared to U.S. standards. For total disclosure, I'd buy this house with personal fund and rent it back to the NPO just below market rate.
My SAPS detective friend has been building a list of other wildlife crimes detectives and recently retired detectives who would be willing to work for our operation while it gets off the ground and gets moving.
My brother in law has procured two Nissan Patrol trucks. They need some work, which he is doing now. One will be 100% field use, the other will be decked out in logos and will serve more in marketing, sales, and admin capacity. I got a really good deal on the trucks due to the dollar being so strong.
I've found an FGASA instructor who is willing to come to us, in South Africa, and provide the field practical needed for our rangers to obtain the level one field guiding certification. Rangers would need to study on their own or take an online class before getting to South Africa.
I think that about sums it up for update #3. If you're interested in the previous thread/discussion, here you go:

Man, Arkadia Ranch and now this.
This is the future, getting movements for good started online. I'm lovin' it.
Posting in a troll thread.
How do you feel your PMC will do a better job than the government anti-poaching in SA?
Are the other PMCs in SA doing the same thing?
South Africa passed laws to prevent white farmers organizing private security in defense of farms and families. Why would they let you operate?
Do you own a home range, anons? is it indoor or outdoor?
if not, what's your excuse for not having one?
>>29450171
I've got me a 200 ft outdoor range with a nice shelter/fire pit and shooting bench
Its nice to go down there with my pals and bumpfire/do tactical shit with no fudd RO to brass rat or yell at me
>>29450171
I would be arrested after the first shot was fired.
>>29450198
feels good owning a big piece of land, doesn't it?
Currently 6 months from separating from the Army with no clue what I'm going to do. I know there's a good amount of veterans on here and I was hoping to get some insight as to your personal experiences leaving the service and entering the civilian world.
>what was the transition like
>how hard was it to find a job
>are organizations like VFW, American legion, Iraq & Afghanistan veterans worth joining
Thanks fellas
Walmart greeter.
Also thank you for your cervix.
>>29450049
I work at Walmart (not vet) and they will practically suck your dick
Go into AP (asset protection) and circle jerk with all the other milfags
>>29450029
Get that sweet military welfare from the VA, they'll probably take your guns away, but you'll be set.
Sup /k/,
I'm currently in the market for a pistol for home defense, I currently have a full-size 9mm, but I'm looking to branch out and get something in .40 S&W.
I'm poor as fuck and I've been looking at police trade-ins, my budget is right around 450-500 but I can't really afford much more than that. My current options are Glock 22, Glock 23 (both gen 3) and a Sig P226 and P229.
I'm leaning more towards the Glock 23 because I want something that I can carry since I'm average sized.
What do? Pic related.
>Inb4 lol 40
Bump.
I also like the idea of getting a .357Sig conversion kit.

PKM thread? How does it even?
>feeds right, ejects left.
>no handguard (can't shoot well standing up.
>ejects hard as fuck so even if you could shoot it standing up, the shells are going to cut the shit out of your arm.
>none disintegrating belt
How is this thing supposed to be used? The only real way I can see it just in a posted a position. There can't be people actually running around and using this thing effectively.
TL;DR: bass akwards gun
>>29449825
>There can't be people actually running around and using this thing effectively.
it's a belt-fed gpmg with a reliable action
people have been effective machine gunners with far less
stop treating extra features like disentigrating belt and handguard as some kind of holy grail of essential firearm technology
they're not
>>29449885
By running around I mean moving. Like there is no way some guy armed with this would be able to provide accurate fire on the move.
>>29449885
also nobody but arabs hipfires gpmg's, so why you would devote 2 of your 4 points to this retarded sentiment is beyond me
