Why aren't large planes equipped with cables that commandos can use to swing down and grapple on to smaller planes?
The plane and its commandos could then take two courses of action. They can hijack the enemy plane. If it is determined this isn't the best course of action they can simply attach the cables to the tail and pull up on them, causing the opposing plane's
advantages:
>doesn't expend any munitions
>can be used if the plane in question is out of cannon ammunition and missiles
>can be used to expand own air force
>leaves no survivors
disadvantages:
>short range
>requires stealth
>pilots of opposing planes might be alerted by turbulence
>cables add weight
It would be extremely dangerous.
>>29454242
in reality it is pretty hard to jump from one 300 MPH object to another
also if the smaller plane does a quick dive and those commandos are dead
Why are armies using 5.56 or 7.62x39 if it cannot penatrate level 3 or 4 body armor this seriously interferes with troop leathality
Because very few soldiers outside the US military have any kind of armor.
Because we are fighting poorfags without body armor.

Why aren't there any modern pepperbox style pistolitas?
They're obsolete
Do the barrels rotate into firing position? Or can you fire them all at once?
>>29453390
A lot of them you had to rotate manually
What have you guys picked up recently? Got this 870 today for bird hunting this year. 450 out the door. Waterproofing the furniture tomorrow.

with a barrel that long you could put one hell of an extension on the tube.
>>29452784
my 1897, traded a wingmaster with a 10 shot tube for it.

Two questions for things on this link:
-Are the Beretta 92S's on here any good? Good gun in general?
-they have 4 Polish P-64's listed, which one would be the one too get?
http://www.southernohiogun.com/handguns/surplus-handguns
>>29452250
Also damn did the price of Star Model Super B's go up, I remember Aim surplus just had some for 209.
>>29452250
Nobody who bought them for $300 seems to have any problems with them at all. My only hangup is that weird mag catch.
>>29452250
The beretta is good but i would recommend aftermarket grips, sights, swapping the polymer guide rod with a steel one. Dont know about the p 64.
Is there anything better than effortlessly playing with the Axis lock on a Benchmade?
>>29452123
I could fit my dick thru the tolerances of an axis lock
>>29452200
I don't know what that means
>>29452206
look, axis lock is a gimmick, the only decent knives on the market are US made spydercos

Hey /k/
Im a rideshare driver doing this for money and am looking into getting a sidearm just for safety and so I dont get murderaped by some dundunuffin.
Im comfortable around handguns, and have shot enough of them that Im not gonna blow my nose off mexican carrying or something retarded, but past that Im a bit at a loss in which direction to go. Preferably something that fits in large hands, can be concealed under a jacket or some such while driving, wont blow up in my hand, and since this is a frikkin job, probably an external safety or a heavy trigger. Revolvers seem like a good idea?
Since Im driving for money Im not pissing benjamins so if you can buy a car for the cost of it, i probably cant afford it.
>>29451941
bump?
Claymores installed in the back of the driver and passenger seat, pointed backwards, controlled from the driver seat. Or have the seats rigged with tasers.
>>29451941
after all that vids of cabbie drivers getting suckablasted in back of their head or being hold at gunpoint from behind i don't really see that much of a point
and says
"Keep your fucking safety on. Barrel pointed down. Stay in the back. Don't shoot anyone on my fucking team. Right?"
What do you do?
What do you do when you realize you are a real life Upham?
And lets be clear. Most of /k/ is an Upham.
y-yes sir
I brought my best equipment and this happens REEEEEEEEEEEE
I made 10 yuan this paycheck, what weapon can I buy with it?
a blade for cosplay
>>29451597
A pencil. Though you'll have no way of sharpening it once it's broken.
You could get a pen though, but it's flimsy tacticool shit for polymerfags.

I have 100 Riel, what 'bout me?
Favorite war movie go
Mine is probably Apocalypse Now.
Or Tropic Thunder if that counts.
Gonna throw something a bit different in here. Life Is Beautiful
Apocalypse Now is pretty great, but I think Platoon is better.
Apocalypse now is a bit arty, and I kind of get a little bored in a lot of parts.
I would count Tropic Thunder.l
>>29451618
The only part of Apocalypse Now that I'd rather do without is the French villa part. Really just seemed like a thinly veiled rant about how fucked up America is.
I do like Platoon a lot, tho it seemed a bit campy
