I want to get into balisong/butterfly knives but I don't know any good brands or distributors. Can /k/ help me out?
> I'm super cheap so anything over 150 i won't buy
>>29506627
Buy a 15 dollar one ,flip it a bit, get bored and forget it.
>>29506627
When I looked into this a year or so back about the only options where cheap chink shit, Bear & Sons (pic related), Benchmade, and custom stuff.
Bear & Sons is probably what you want.
I just ended up buying a cheap counterfeit Benchmade trainer since all I really wanted it for was playing with anyway.

For a second I thought that was a dildo.
What DA/SA has the best double action trigger?
>>29506494
before the fucktarded shig-fags show up, imma tell you the truth.
HK USP and Bulgy milsurp Makarov.
P99 is decent - for a striker fired DA/SA
Sigs are shit with DA.
Beretta 92fs feels like bending a stamped metal spoon.
CZ82 feels like ass, P64 feels the same.
Oh, the Chiappa Rhino is fuckin SEX DA, however, if you dont squeeze it all the way, and shortstroke it, you can potentially break parts in your gun, and it also misaligns the cylinder.
Thats bout it.
Glock.
Glock brand glock
In 10mm ofc
So /k/, I have a serious issue with beavers and need help. I have roughly 180 acres of WRP land around my house, with duck ponds scattered about the property. There are seven dams and three lodges that have been built, destroyed and rebuilt for the better part of a year and I am sick of them. Here's a recap of the past year:
>three sleepless nights attempting to kill them as they leave their lodge, failed
>six stuck vehicles, including a tractor, attempting to break some of the dams
>two snake bites (nonvenomous, thankfully) and an alligator almost grabbing my leg
>two accidental wildfires that may or may not have been caused by me
>having to get out of my driveway via canoe due to drainage issues
>lost a 300 dollar game camera (they ate the tree it was on, and it was placed there to track them)
>countless minor injuries
So as you can see I am desperate at this point. Here are some ideas I have, and need your guys help with:
>destrying the dams beyond repair, via tannerite or other explosive means
>trapping the bastards and torturing them until they take me to the others
>catching a bunch of alligators (louisiana mosquitokin) and putting them in the ponds to sort the problem out for me
My question is, what is the limit on how much tannerite I can have/use/make before it becomes a DHS issue?

Never heard of it. Explain?
OP here, does anyone have a list of legal explosive compounds that are easily accessible?
>try to buy gun at walmart because the price is low af
>complete background check, purchase gets delayed for up to 30 days
support your local gun shop.

What the fuck is a 'complete background check'?
Wtf r u talking about. Fbi has 3 days to say no
say you wanted to sneak into a factory or abandon establishment in an industrial based area
are digital urban camouflage BDUs that helpful? I can understand for woodland, desert or rocky terrain, but what about for city use? Is it as effective?
>>29506265
dark blue or greyish clothes bdus would likely be your best bet
>>29506265
just wear all black
>>29506265
Dress up in some work clothes(dark jeans and an FR shirt if you got it) and carry a tool box or something. Bam! Instant excuse.
Or dark colors if you're going at night, trying to stay hidden. Camo would probably just make you look guilty if someone sees you tip toeing in the shadows.
Is Oda Nobunaga /k/ approved?

Hi /k/,
I just finished my latest project (happy to discuss techniques and equipment used) and I was wondering if this kind of stuff sells. Would you buy it? How much is it worth?
Do you make knives?
I love Milano cookies
Send a sample to a high end knife maker and see if they're willing to hire you.
It would save you the trouble of trying to get your own marketing and sales together.

I'm not looking for a job, I'm too busy. I get maybe a few hours a week free to spend in the garage.
I live in Australia, there's less in the way of weapon-loving people who buy swords and guns, and as such, I know only of mass produced knife sellers, like Global and Scanpan. Hunting is legal in Victoria so you get rifle shops that sell hunting knives, but they're all Victorinox or Winchester. Neither are based hee and I doubt Victorinox needs someone who can build knives when everything they make is off a machine line.
Lucky enough to buy an USP Elite 45 ACP today. Only 1000 was imported to USA.
What do you think and also mods?
>>29506190
Got one last May. All I've done is buy two more mags. It shoots nice as is. Congrats on your good fortune.
>>29506190
Are you in Utah?
Why didn't they add the extra barrel length using a threaded barrel? Does extra slide length do anything?

>>29506121
NuFinish
>>29506156
Seriously? Do you just pour into the tumbler?
>>29506178
about a cap full every other load, run it for a few minutes before adding brass to allow it to work into the media
Was it really that shitty?
Yeah.
That 1 man turret syndrome.
That no turret basket.
That too-cramped-to-bail-out-during-an-emergency-so-every-time-one-gets-penetrated-the-crew-gets-burned-alive-thus-depriving-your-army-of-precious-institutional-experience.
The -85 and later variants fixed a lot of the problems, but the Sherman was simply a better design.
Sure, it was taller, but it was an extremely marginal difference (see pic) and it's absolutely worth it for the crew space.
>>29506082
It was a nightmare for the loader as he had to stand on bare shells with no guard, busted ankles were almost expected.
>>29506082
Good enough.
Is it the Future? Or will it forever remain a niche?
I've never shot it before, please tell me your experiences and thoughts.
>>29506005
Bump for interest.
If you haven't shot 338LM yet you will have no reason to for the rest of your life, unless you suddenly become an ELR shooter
This is not a plinker, this is an expensive as fuck workhorse
It'll never be more than a sniper cartridge due to OAL and barrel life issues. The US isn't going to adopt a 338LM MMG just because goat fuckers are shooting across mountain tops with enfields anytime soon.
tldr: 50bmg stronk, M2 is fine.
Not everyone is pro guns or anti guns. There are 50 shades of gray.
>>29505838
That's not pro-gun though. That's just common sense
Shut up bernie-bot...
>>29505838
You realize Sanders is anti gun though, right?
Well /k/, I'm finally in a position to start shopping for my first gun. I'm considering getting either a Savage Arms AXIS in .22-250 or a 93R17 in .17 HMR, but I'm having trouble deciding which to get. Most of my hasguns friends have recommended Savage for a budget firearm and I would like to stay under $400. Any recommendations?
Get the 17hrm or better yet a 22lr.
Cheaper ammo means your more likely to shoot more and get better
>>29505818
Also, I'd prefer to avoid a 22 because hoarders.
If you like savage, 22-250, and live near a cabelas you can get a varmint barreled savage 12fv for $419 with a hundred dollar mail in rebate... It's like a pretty good step up from the axis...
