Move to another part of the club to find better looking girls.
Some people I've talked to only shoot it as a novelty. They say it's snappy af, and at times unpleasant.
WIth a mil discount I can probably get one for just over 200 dollars or should I pay 575 for a walther p1?
>>29541121
I love my Tok. Fast, light recoiling ammo, tough as fuck and easy to clean, and surprisingly accurate. Just don't trust import safeties-they only block the trigger and are only there to allow importation. Zastava makes a clone that holds one extra round and has a proper, working safety, making it a viable CC option. My only complaint is that the sights kinda suck.
>>29541121
>light recoiling ammo
Are you serious? A lot of people I talk to say it's too snappy. I'm from Canada so there's no safety.
The gunshoproblem by me has two for $300 each. I think I might buy both
this is a general discussion for nuclear weapons of all types.
from improvised terrorist nukes to full on city destroyers, discuss it here.
>I live X miles from a target, what can I expect?
watch these videos;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOFDFogc6Gk&nohtml5=False
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE_bw4ME9v8&nohtml5=False
as they are the most relevant to today's weapons.
but you can watch this one too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzoeXkdxKuc
first point of discussion;
are nuclear gravity bombs still useful?
not "bombs" in the sense of any nuke, but bombs dropped from planes over a target.
the US still has a massive number of them and I personally think that we need missiles in their place, missiles seem more useful.
but of course, this is just an opinion so discuss away.
> are nuclear gravity bombs still useful?
no
Has anyone read it?
>>29540960
Tactical nuclear weapons have eclipsed the city killers. Why destroy entire cities when you can strike with precision where you want and leave the rest for conquering?
do you collect(hoard) ammo /k/?
i think im starting to have a problem.
>>29540959
I mean, that's not a massive amount there, anon.

We don't like guns here, they are scary
My girlfriends dad had this revolver for awhile now and I need help from anyone here to identify it for me. He doesn't have much to go on, only that he bought it many years from a friend. I think it maybe a Colt but it still looks odd to me.
Californians, I've heard your guns are neutered, is that true? Not going into the politics of it since that is banned, but going into the features.
I've heard your AR-15s don't even accept magazines, you are perminant lay stuck with an attached mag
I've heard you can't buy certain colors of guns,
I've even heard you are not allowed to buy a gun unless it has been "drop tested"
Is any of this true? What is it like in California, Hawaii or other states like that? What is different in your guns that is not found in my guns (Texas)?
All semi automatic rifles with a pistol grip must have a bullet button, meaning the magazine cannot be removed without a tool.
There's no law against colors of guns
Yes, pistols have to be put on CA DOJ's Approval list before they can be sold for civilian use, which basically means no new designs
>>29540723
If you're in cali your best options for a defensive carbine is a "featureless rifle" such as
>Mini-14/30
>unconverted vepr/saiga
>ARES SCR with upper of your choosing

Pic related is my CA legal NPAP
Let's have a more whimsical thread, /k/
Let's talk about weapons against the supernatural. Ghosts, ghouls, demons, vampires, werewolves, etc.
What would your SHTF loadout look like? Chalk for drawing circles/pentacles for protection? Canvas bags of salt? Shotgun shells with iron/steel shot inside?
Let's start with a silly and cliche scenario: you're dropping in to explore a big fucking abandoned insane asylum (think Grave Encounters) and you actually expect some crazy shit to go down. What does the kit you bring with you look like?
I tried making this thread on /x/ once a while back but just got a lot of "NO FUN ALLOWED" responses.
>wahhh I'm a human hypocrite I eat dumber lesser creatures but don't want to be eaten by a smarter higher creature wahhhhh wahhhhhh

Why is the p250 hated? Is it just the residual dislike for it from its initial release when it had some problems?
>>29540713
Because it wasn't the P320. Everyone was wanting a striker fired polymer Sig, and they decided to make it DAO.
>>29540713
>Is it just the residual dislike for it from its initial release when it had some problems?
Yup, it's pretty much one flaw they didn't bother fixing. They made it DAO. There is literally no reason to get it now that the p320 is a thing
Since I bumped this thread to page 8, let's see if we can find some poorfag that will chime in saying the p250 is great and maybe he will even link that nutnfancy video on it.
>>29542026
>>29540713
Fuck man, that DAO trigger is so damn smooth, I like it loads better than the P320's trigger.
Then again, the internet is apparently full of competition shooters who can only do 2 lb no-travel triggers.
In a fight between Russia and China, who would win? Lets say they're fighting over resources in Mongolia.

Kingdoms through ages rise and fall. When an impossible plague from a far-off land finds its way to England, a blacksmith and a doctor are the only two men on Earth who have the ability to cure it. The plague does not bring death alone. Those afflicted by it lose themselves to the sickness. They become soulless plaguewalkers, empty shells of humanity who hunt and consume those who still live. They spread the disease until they are destroyed, and such violent action is the only way to stop them.
As the plague ravages Valdus, the largest city in the land, a family is caught in the middle of the battle. A guard and his sister are at ground zero, and they must survive and fight their way to safety.
While those within the city struggle to survive and find shelter, a Northern Kingdom sees the plague as their opportunity to invade. The two cities have been at war for decades over land and beliefs, and the Knights of Valdus are the only defense against the armies of the north.
This is the story of two men seeking to end the plague. This is the story of a family just trying to survive. This is the story of battered knights fighting to protect their city.
This is the story of the Demon's Plague.
Interesting. Please continue writer anon.
Sounds cliche and gay desu
>>29540623
>a blacksmith and a doctor are the only two men on Earth who have the ability to cure it
a blacksmith? what's he gonna do to help with the cure?
you know the easiest way to survive a hate plague would be to button up inside of a castle until the infected starve. Unless ur going full max brooks.
Watching the original Red Dawn and wondering:
1. What weapon(s) would you use to defend yourself in that scenario? Why? Go for firearms that ammo would be easy to savage or use firearms a possible invading army would use? Reload your own? Have your own saved up? Use a bit of both?
2. Could today's American civilians, and the current arms they have available to purchase, cause trouble for an invading army or would they get rolled over?
3. What's the most plausible way the United States could be invaded and by who?
1. AR-15
2. Yes
3. Massive container ships could easily hide an invasion force.

>1. What weapon(s) would you use to defend yourself in that scenario? Why? Go for firearms that ammo would be easy to savage or use firearms a possible invading army would use? Reload your own? Have your own saved up? Use a bit of both?
look at rebellions and insurgency's around the world
hint: what ever fuck you can get your hands on
>2. Could today's American civilians, and the current arms they have available to purchase, cause trouble for an invading army or would they get rolled over?
is it this hard to look up at real world examples that are happening right now ?
yes, eventually in this order
>3. What's the most plausible way the United States could be invaded and by who?
by magic space lizards and i am completely serious
>>29540622
>what weapons?
Silenced sniper rifle. I would set up sniper blinds all over the place and move between them in a thermal-resistant ghillie suit. Also IEDs, lots and lots of IEDs.
>could we cause trouble?
absolutely. If borderline retarded sandniggers can fuck with the USA military I think we can get something going.
>How?
We enter into a treaty that allows the UN or some other multinational organization to override US sovereignty, who deploys forces to ensure compliance with an economic or social policy.
I need a good shtf boot/shoe and I wanted to hear your recommendations.
Also combat boot general
Just got issued these and love them, made by Bates
Not Combat Boots. "Combat Boots" are shit designed for extreme durability, not user comfort. The only people wearing "combat boots" are people forced to, mall goths, and mall ninjas.
Get yourself a pair of Oboz Wind River or Salomon Quest 4D II GTX

If you like those shitty boots like in your pic OP you must hate your feet really badly or you want them for looks
Hello /k/, was thinking of picking up one of these pic related. For CC and home defense. Own a few Glocks (19G4,26G4) and was thinking of adding a .45 to the slowly growing collection. I'm ditching my first handgun, used XD45 Compact, and needing to replace the .45 for my bedside gun. Thoughts? Other suggestions.
>thinking 45 is better than 9mm
Faggot
>>29540344

Why is it wrong I like owning and shooting both?
>>29540363
>not investing in one type of mag, one round, one manual of arms, etc.
It's like you don't care about efficiency at all.
/o/tist here wondering: what is the most operator vehicle I can buy?
Humvee, by far.
Do we still use them?
Did they ever deck them out with decent armor?
Do they have turrets with AA missiles or TOWs or miniguns?
Jesus those vehicles are as badass as you can get with 4 wheels.
>>29540254
I've heard of them being available under $15k, but they are not street legal
Of course, whos going to stop you when your in a fucking Humvee
