You find yourself dropped in to your chosen country's General Staff a year before their entry into WW2. You have the knowledge you have today. How do you advise your forces to prepare for the coming storm?
You only have a year and won't be able to convince for total war mobilisation, but what changes would you make?

- Get rid of Battle dress and issue everyone a cheapened Denison smock
- Start work on the No.5 as the standard combat rifle and develop the STEN/buy loads of Thompsons
- start work on the 6pdr and developing a tank that can take it as a main gun and uses the Merlin engine
- Put the 25pdr on an armoured chassis as an SPG
- Design and build an APC that can keep pace with tanks
- Develop proper combined arms tactics
- Use smaller, more flexible Battle Groups rather than Divisions, Corps etc

- Plow more energy into Merlin production

- Stop fielding crappy, slow light bombers

Hey /k/, I'm turning 20 in the beginning of May and figured I'd get myself my first gun, probably either an M9, XDm 4.5", or pic related (feel free to advise me on what I should get, I personally love the way the p226 feels, but I'm open to suggestions. I currently live in Idaho, where there are very few restrictions on what I can get (thank god), but I plan to move to California in two or so years to take care of my grandmother, who refuses to leave the land of oppression. My big question is, are there any kind of restrictions I need to be worried about when I move there?

So I finally just looked into how much China is claiming to be their South China Sea. I initially thought it was just a few islands and shit, not a whole fucking chunk of the ocean all the way up to the faces of three countries.

Ok /k/ I need advice for the best "shit hits the fan"-weapon in my situation. Let me give you the details:

Ok /k/ so I thought of something like pic related (CZ Scorpion evo 3) because I can stock up on 9mm ammo pretty cheaply (compared to .223) and 9mm out of a long barrel should be sufficient power since very few germans are armed with anything bigger. Plus I live in a city so the maximum fighting distance would be 100 m. I want to buy armor too, I thought of level III or IIIA since level IV is pretty much unnecessary (so few people here have high powered rifles).
What do you think? Rather a handgun or .22 and more ammo? Or a .223 or .308 and significantly less ammo?

I don't know the law in Germany, but you ought to check if the request for a rifle is the same for a pistol.
Plus, if you have a limited amount of money, you should maybe check if there are any second hand rifle because if it is the case, you will, maybe, be able to buy a .223 rifle for the same price than an EVO ( which is around 1800€ if I am correct ).

That's not a question, it's a declaration that "This has what the glock does not.
HOWEVER, to answer your sentence, Glocks have a higher volume of readily available aftermarket accessories, as well as a higher saturation of owners. If you're paranoid about the world ending or are gay enough to spend another $2k over the next few years on cool looking stuff for your pistol, then a Glock has it all. But that's about it.
