One batteries can store a lot of energy in a small area with not too much weight we'll get some cool shit.
The Moscow PD opened their archive of confiscated weapons. Some interesting toys in there.

What on earth is that?
The most impractical service weapons used by modern law enforcement. Japanese police forces have chosen a double-action Nambu M60, .38, revolver for their standard issue service weapon. Why would technologically advanced country do that? This gun is practically antique.
>>29583800
Because they are cucked.
>>29583800
You don't need an effective police weapon if the yakuza control the vast majority of your nation.
>>29583800
The entire idea is to create a society where guns are taboo or a complete non interest for the citizen. They've been very successful at their goal.
Is there a better single-action, single-stack 45 ACP pistol than the 1911?
no, but the real question should be why do you want a single stack .45?
Is there any other single action, single stack .45 ACP pistol besides the 1911?
Serious question, it seems like a pretty narrow field.
>>29583661
Wait the 1911 is single action? Sorry for nogunz question but doesn't single action mean you have to pull the external hammer before every shot?
Hey /k/
I've been wondering for ages what this carving in the stock of my Romy SKS means, possibly initials or something. Anyone here Romanian or speak it? To me it looks like a "L" and "K" and possibly a "T" in English, I don't know what it could be in Russian as there's no L in Cyrillic.
Just taking a shot in the dark here, any info is welcome.
General stock carvings thread because why not, I've seen some badass German and Serbian stock carvings.
I'll upload more pics if necessary, sorry the stock is all beat and scratched to shit, I don't want to restore it.

>Romanian SKS
>"LK" marking
actually Anon, these markings show that this rifle (or at least the stock) is a rare Soviet firing port-version of the SKS designed for use in the "Лyнный кopaбль" capsule. Very rare find you have there, good luck with it.
What would it take to kill one of these motherfuckers.
Hand-loaded .45-70 if we're talking man-portable rifles. If you've got a vehicle or a fireteam, Ma Deuce should do it.

Pretty much anything in sufficient volume, it's just an animal.

A 40 foot, 7 ton bird monster animal.
Why wasn't the revolver mechanism used for long guns when it was so successful for handguns?
I'm not trying to start one of those "hurr durr I know better than Colt/the DoD/whatever" threads, but I am kinda curious as to how this came to be.
Cheers /k/ameraden.

Cylinder gap
>>29583194
Cylinder gap, it'd burn the fuck out of your forearm.
I think it was but the ATF didn't like it or something.
Can we get an Armslist gore thread going?
I don't see any goru in this pic you baka

Well, it was nice knowing you, right testicle and femoral artery.
I conceal a Glock 26 with absolutely no problem.
Sounds like you're just fucking up.

I found your problem.

None of you tryhards are going to be illuminating a target at night for your IR optics, either.
Except I do it at least 3 times a month hog hunting with my 300 blk, and many of us in rural areas use them quite often.
Sorry city boy.

Someone's never been hog hunting.

>I dont know how to aim a rifle
My friends and I are planning a summer road trip from Chicago to Wichita Denver ABQ Pheonix LA San Fran Portland Seattle Mt Rushmore Minneapolis and back to Chicago
We all have IL FOID cards and plan to bring a few guns, but no "assault weapons" or mags over 10 rounds
I know FOPA provides some protection, but are there are laws we should be aware of? Mostly worried about Cali

Also: as long as the firearms are legal in the state in question, you're okay.

So, the Israeli Defence Force is conducting an operation along with the Police, allowing people to return anything they stole from the army during their service days, no questions asked. Worked out pretty well last year with over 2 mil USD of equipment returned, and even better this year, with a machine gun and a 4x4 vehicle. But this, this is just gold. This guy returned his old man's 1907 St. Etienne make rifle, if the media ain't lying about the model. Do you think a similar operation would work out for the US forces?
>kikes stealing vehicles from the army
not suprised 2bh
>>29582701
Oi vey, 2 gorillion?
Seriously though, a 110 year old rifle is a nice find. Who knows, maybe someone will find a world war 1 rifle in their back yard somewhere in Chicago.

Are the Glock "Feldmesser" any good?
They seem to be solid made and the austrian army use them.
But the low price make me concerned

knife is fine
>>29582645
For stabby stabby and light cutting? Yes. What do you want the knife for? Camping? Bushcraft? Collectiblility?
>>29582645
Work fine, but it's long term use is questionable if you don't know how to sharpen a knife since the edge it comes with isn't particularly sharp and it loses that rather quickly.
