Anyone had experience with Tikka rifles before? Specifically, the Tikka T3x series.
I got mine recently and it seems quite accurate. After a bit, I could almost shoot hole-in-hole on 100m (109 yard).
Most here consider Tikka rifles to be damn good for the money. Sub-MOA accuracy isn't a stretch for these rifles, and fit and finish is usually up to snuff.
Take a look. Fun starts at 1:58 min.

Cold bore I'm touching my own holes at 200y or damn near close. It's a sub MOA gun from the factory. Mine is in 30 06, so I can shoot surplus AP if I ever needed too.
I've been thinking about the fine line between practical usage and having a vast collection of historical firearms. It's easy to spend thousands on milsurp that may be neat to own, but in the case of some calibers or finicky designs, not easy to use. On the other hand having 20 AR's in varying configurations isn't exciting either.
The reason I was thinking about this is I have a few grand into milsurp that I've come to realize is difficult for me to use effectively. My eyesight is poor and I can't focus on anything past 75 yards. At 100 yards I am just pointing the rifle in the general direction of the target and squeezing the trigger. Despite this I only own one modern scoped rifle. I suppose I am not questioning my collecting decisions. To make matters worse I live in MD and have a limited number of options.
Guns you regret buying general
Bumping with a few murica pictures
I agree completely. 5-10 useable, modern, fully outfitted guns max. Currently selling all of my redundant guns. They simply aren't effective in the real world and are just money pits. It's also really nice to not feel pressured to buy every old/unique design out there. Much more fun to try 1 or two new releases each year and keep them in and out of rotation depending on how they perform when fully decked out.
Tactical hummingbird when?
so whats /k/ related here?

Are Israeli guns a complete and utter meme?
Uzis are great. The originals are vastly outdated in the current era, but back in the day they were top titties of SMGs. Micro/mini uzi are still very viable today.
Deagles are silly shit but have their uses that no other autos fill.
Tavor are good bullpups, arguably better and worse in various ways vs others like the AUG, FS, etc, but they're still solid enough.
Jerichos are, like the uzi, outdated in the current year but are still very nice guns.
That's all the jewshit I can think of off the top of my head.

They are badass enough that Alain Alexis in the EU comission wants them banned. Isreali guns that is.

>A critically ill patient at UNN needed lifesaving treatment, but both UNN heart / lung machines were occupied by other patients that day. Fortunately could St.Olavs Hospital dispense with one of its two instruments that day, but they had no way to transport the machine to Tromso. They contacted when defense for help.
>40 minutes later an F-16 fighter plane on the way from Orland Main Air Station. The pilot thus took a detour on Bodo heading to Rygge, where the plane was going to attend a rehearsal. Generally uses fighter between 30 and 35 minutes to Bodo. This time they used 25 minutes. The package arrived at Bodo before the trauma team that would carry the package on to Tromso.

There are many miliaries which state holding rifle by mag is an acceptable stance. Russian Military particularly. Stop shitposting.
>>29711348
>not holding it by the firing pin
Fucking casual.

EBRs are heavy pieces of shit. He is holding it like that so he can rest his arms on his vest. So he can hold the rifle steady and not tire his arms out.
All american planes are pretty much stolen from 75 year old German technology. The Americans pinched almost everything they know about planes and rockets from the Nazis, and the Russians just copied their copies. Kinda pathetic, really.
>Durrr all tech evolved from the last
Wright Brothers contributed, they werent pillaged for their designs and human capital like germany

bullshit, for starters the germans werent further advanced in actual aircraft than the british at the end of the war, rockets perhaps but jets and prop engines were no significantly advanced over the british.
and while some german research was used in the american aviation industry, and subsequently improved upon by the americans and the british, many aspects of post war design rely on avionics and electronics, fields the germans lagged behind in in WW2, Area rule was something the americans figured out for themselves, and fly by wire and intentionally relaxed stability are ideas that the germans of 1945 simply couldnt have conceived.
all tech evolves from what went before it, and the germans didnt contribute anything that the allies werent well on their way to understanding on their own
I love it.

How much does one of those things go for? I will agree it looks pretty cool.
it's like they built all the rifle's internals, and needed to build an ergonomic receiver or shell. So they threw all the parts into a box.
Then mistook the box full of shooty parts for the finished gun
>>29711515
>How much does one of those things go for?
I doubt you could get one, I would be very surprised if there are more than a handful of L22A1's in civilian hands.
Why is 00 buck the most common reccomendation for defensive shotgun rounds? 0 and 000 buck both exist, but I rarely hear these recoomended. What is the advantage of 00.
Fuddlore. The only true defensive shotgun load is expanding copper slug.
Saying "double aught" sounds the coolest
It's common and works perfectly fine, offering a nice balance between pellet count and potency.
Honestly anything over #4 will work well.
Is kicking useless?
Because it seems like it.
I don't recall hearing any stories of Marines kicking during the Battle of Fallujah.
>>29711057
It's good for a contract sport or a one on one fight, not so much when keeping your feet on the ground means getting to cover quicker.
Kicks are significantly more powerful than punches.
It's risky, as you sacrifice your footing for a stronk ass strike.
Better not to more often than not.
Well boys... Bab is now coming to Norway which will eventually lead to a Russian invasion. I have aquired a AK74 which will be my main gun. I am putting together a russian inspired loadout here. I have the Gorka 4 bars, Sposn Legat chestrig with sapi plate and a black balaclava. I wish to add more to my kit. Any suggestions? Feel free to comment on the gear here also, tips will be appreciated.
