What good are guns without ammo? Your priorities are backwards. If you own guns without any ammo to feed them; you own expensive paperweights.
Yuropoor here
Here's the problem, I have an asylum home with about 100+ dindus about 500 meters away from my house and they haven't really been behaving like law abiding citizens.
I fear for my family's safety so I got myself a Samekniv but I'd like something that shoots but guns are banned unless you have a really good reason to have it (personal safety is not a reason here) so I went with a gamo pt 85 but I don't know what pellets to use but I've narrowed it down to:
H&N rabbit magnum power
H&N silver point
JSB diabolo exact heavy
JSB beast
But I'm worried that the gamo won't have enough power to push a beast or a rabbit magnum power through its barrel.
Which one should I use?
I don't think a pellet pistol offers enough firepower to protect yourself, other than a possible scare factor.

I assume you are from Germany?
get a bat.
Can somebody tell me what Red Jacket really was? Some time ago somebody told me that in reality they were shit, thier guns sucked dick and most of the builds in the show was scripted since nobody wanted to buy anything from them. I also heard that some other company was making guns for them? Is this true? I know about "neva been dun befo", child abuse etc. But i'd like to know about quality of their guns.
>>29720347
They where a gimmick factory trying to keep spewing out gimmick one off firearms and the like to gain popularity and save their failing business and its shady practices... Also they turned their show into a soap opera to try to get more views cause muh drama and guns...
Also something something something he molested his own kids or some shit...
The guy Finn that worked there for a bit has bretty good youtube channel at least~
>>29720347
I know that several of thier builds were for military personel buying weapons for personal use, and the show got all autistic to try to make it sound like they were developing cutting edge tech to keep our troops safe, like, basically pretending that because they sold some army brat a gussied up AK to shoot beer cans with they were some how contributing to the war on terror.
They would constantly say shit that was frankly so wrong as to be unsettling considering that it was coming from a gunsmith.
In another episode some guy who was *supposedly* from a government agency wanted a remote control machinegun turret. They had a team of engineers from a nearby college make it for them and basically just didnt do anything except mount the gun on it, and then pretended like they built it themselves. I think the buyer was fake and the event was staged as part of thier "were supporting our troops" PR stunt campaign.

The guy in the middle and the other guy are legit and I feel bad for them. I think half way through season 1 when the main fat ass lost his FFL the guy in the middle and the quiet guy bought the business and obtained the FFL. The other freaks (the fat guy and his daughter and the dumb ass who married the daughter) were just kept around for the show.
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/this-may-be-the-best-way-to-measure-gun-violence-in-america/ar-BBsabeJ?li=BBnbfcL
>Already include things like justified shootings.in their stats.
>Very few gun crimes, injuries and deaths.
>"Hmm these gun violence numbers are way too small"
>"I know, let's measure it by reports of shots fired!"
Just wait until this is the standard anti-gun politician's argument for now on.
"9 in 10 children in America today have experienced a gun violence, which is why I am signing this bill to abolish the second amendment!" -President Hillary Clinton
who cares
there's 300 million+ firearms in private hands.
CNC machines
Internet
It'll be like Prohibition, except, instead of alcohol, you have fucking guns that actually shoot bullets.
So the anti-guns can dream all they want, but in the end, it's not them on the frontlines trying to confiscate guns, it's the police that's going to get all the bullets. With enough time, they'll be fed up because the liberals will just keep bitching about the very enforcement entity that carry out their laws, because they were doing their jobs and arrested a black man.
So according to sobbing liberals, a shooting range is the most violent place in America?
Which country had the best and which had the worst submarines in WW2?
Germany best subs.
Japs the worst subs.
>>29720046
Bullshit. Nips had the fastest subs and best torpedoes.
Germans only got ahead with Type XXI.
>>29720046
Technichally The USA had the best subs at the outset of war (Though germans built the best sub that eventually saw service in wartime, if only for a short time). The contribution the silent service made to the Pacific war was greater than the carrier force and most Americans are completely unaware.
why are PMCs used? i know for a fact that america has plenty of operators
America has plenty of operators, construction companies and press staff working in the middle east don't. So they pay for some like god intended when he created the free market.
As an aside, military contractors being used at security checkpoints and as body guards can die all they like and you can still maintain your zero operational casualty record.

Maybe I don't understand much how NATO works.
According to this propaganda documentary
,https://youtu.be/t42-71RpRgI
At roughly 02:05:00
It is said that a NATO-trained Ukrainian unit resisted without surrendering (???) and was rekt by Russians.
But how is this possible? Doesn't NATO have rules of engagement? I don't get how Putin got away with Crimea with the US only sporting some destroyers on the Black Sea shores and NATO getting cucked on land (according to video).
So if Ukraine was part of NATO, why didn't NATO defend it? Just to avert WW3? Or were thereother reasons?
I tried to confront /pol/ with this some days ago, but failed because of some Swedecuck who kept calling me CIA shills and derailed the thread, so I am trying /k/ because maybe you guys have better knowledge of military rules of engagement etc.
NATO trained doesn't mean NATO mean NATO aligned. Advisors train all sorts of shitters. CIA trained the Mujaheddin for example, that doesn't mean the US was ever going to step in and come to the rescue if the guys they trained got captured by soviets.
>I don't get how Putin got away with Crimea with the US only sporting some destroyers on the Black Sea shores and NATO getting cucked on land
Crimea is mostly identify as Russian affiliated and the populace tend to be pro-Russian. To make a fuss would risk pointless larger conflict and to try take it back would be unpopular with the locals anyway. Ultimately nobody gives a shit about Ukraine because they are poor and would be a burden on everyone else like Greece.
>So if Ukraine was part of NATO
They weren't, were they? IIRC, they wanted to be part of EU, but the civil war and fractured government made it difficult to finalize.
>>29719860
>To make a fuss would risk pointless larger conflict and to try take it back would be unpopular with the locals anyway.
So all the things about the people's support to Russia in Crimea is not propaganda, but the truth. Crimeans wanted to be Russians.
It's such a Romance. Everyone should be allowed to join the country they want. :-*

What's the quietest commercially available firearm (setup)?
Pic NOT related, as the PSS silent pistol is impossible to get your hands on (especially in the West)

A suppressed .22 rifle with a slide lock, loaded with subsonics. The meme answer is de lisle (repros exist), but I personally find it hard to believe they were as quiet as literature suggests

may not the quietest but really close to it
>>29719816
why not a bolt or slide action rifle with the action tight and lubed to be silkly quiet?
why is it that straight pull bolt action rifles died out while refined knockoffs of the Dryse needle gun were dominant for literally the rest if the bolt gun's tenure? why aren't straight pulls made commonly anymore? could a straight pull be as accurate, if I could make a precision long range rifle in 6.5 creedmore on a straight pull, what advantages would the mauser/enfield/ nagant action have over it?
>>29719768
Easier to manufacture the standard bolt action than it is to manufacture the straight pull action.
That, and nobody has found a way to make a straight pull as precise as a standard mauser tier action. Sure, you have the K31, but that's not really any more accurate than your normal bolt gun.
>>29719780
I see, thanks for being honest with me, doc. I guess my dream of a 1600 yard 6.5 Creedmoor straightpull rifle is just that. which of the other actions doesn't have that shitty cock on unlocking feature that makes the initial motion of the throw more difficult?
Lee Endfields are as quick as or quicker than a Straight pull, are they not?

Hello /k/,
I have a UV-5R5 Baofeng radio due on Tuesday with a programming cable.
I heard someone mention something about CHIRP and programming threads, I didn't see anything in the sticky pertaining to radios. Any information you guys can provide to me that would be useful?
>>29719533
Hey there. Glad to see a radio thread on here. Got my ham license and love the bao feng regarless of what other older hams say about chinese made.
http://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_ErrorMess.php#error1
This website helped me a lot to program with chirp and get started
>>29719533
After you get the drivers programmed and chrip set up. One thing that kicked my ass was that I had to plug in the usb cable to radio and turn the volume knob all the way up. Not sure why that worked.
Between my brother and my family we have 4 uv5r radios and you may have to figure out what firmware the radio is on first to determine the drivers.
I had to do a good bit of reading and googling to get it all to work but once you get chirp working, you'll never go back to manually programming channels.
>>29719533
Please keep in mind that you need a ham license to use the radio. Also, it is illegal to use the uv5r on the common frs freqs because frs is limited to .5 watt.
If you don't have a ham license then I recommend staying off of repeaters or you'll piss off some old fart hams.
