This is the very best first carry gun for newfags/poorfags
>>29818966
I'll agree with this.
Why not an M&P9c, Glock 26, P2000SK, P30SK, P320sc, FNSc, RAMI2075, XDMc, PX4sc, P99c, or half a dozen other valid options?

>This is the very best first carry gun for newfags/poorfags
Literally what is an M&P Shield for $350.
Literally what is a Ruger LCP Custom for $230.
What do you think of the See All Open Sight?

really cool, but not $100 worth of cool

Its been ten fucking years
TEN FUCKIGN YEARS AND PEOPLE STILL CANT TRIFORCE
Is it supposed to be an iron sight or an optic?
Is it powered?
If the anon above is right on the $100 part, it sounds like a pretty good deal for an offset over a red dot or irons
Just picked this Mosin up for $400 down under it's in good condition all numbers matching. Can you guys tell me what these marking mean, I have literally no clue when it comes to mosin stamps/marks.

I don't have a gun, should I conceal carry a knife in case of an IED attack?
>>29818770
Like a fucking knife will help you, if they have IEDs its a safe bet they have guns too.
Now, i don't know if it's legal or not there. Just stay inside if it's habbening
Put knife on stick and aim at door for stabby stabby

Not like a gun would help much against IEDs either, just ask Coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Why is there no Law Enforcement General on /k/?
10/10 subtle. Hundreds of posts of angry memeing inbound.
Gun enthusiasts come from many backgrounds and walks of life, meaning some will be the "don't tread on me type" anti-government type and some will be liberals, some will be military boots, others will have an interest in being cops/agents. There's more threads entertaining the idea of cops being gun grabbing door kickers than threads about being cops and L.E.

Because you inserted 'Why is there no' at the beginning of your post.
What are the best movie shootout scenes in /k/'s opinion?
I'll start off with a no-brainer

More a battle than a shootout but this is gold.

This isn't exactly a shootout, but it belongs on the list I think.

SKS Thread
Here is my rig. I didn't want to fuck with it too much like you see bubbas do trying to make an AK out of it.
It came with an aftermarket apeture sight that does wonders for it's accuracy compared to one's I've shot with standard rear sights. It also came with an aftermarket walnut stock with no spring-loaded butt cleaning kit.
I picked up an HS butt pouch which stores the cleaning kit- not as compact as the original issue but probably superior in terms of what's in it. It also keeps an extra 5 rounds.
On the other side is an ALICE ammo pouch clipped into the strap loop on the butt. I managed to squeeze 4 clips into it. So when loaded the rig carries a good cleaning kit and 55 rounds of ammo in and on the fun ready to go. Its heavy but nothing I can't deal with.
>5 single rounds in loops like shotshells
Nigger u what

>10 round rifle in a meme caliber

Why do people buy SKS rifles as anything but collectibles?
>>29818549
heh. might as well, unless you wanna stick slim jims in ithem.
Just bought this child hood dream of mine.
Was it worth it /k/?

should have waited for the mp40
If it was a childhood dream of yours, of course it was worth it. When are you getting a stamp?

Hi, /k/.
I legally purchased this Orion Flare Gun and legally purchased this Short Lane RIFLED 12ga to 22lr adapter insert. This weapon is legal for me to own in the US and my local jurisdiction.
I'm going to fire 22lr+P out of it tomorrow. It's not going to hurt me, right? I'm assuming to 12ga light load flares have more powder than 22lr does. Am I wrong? Will I break the gun?
Basically, if anyone knows how much boom the Orion 12ga flares make vs standard 22lr ammunition, I would love to know.
Thanks!

Make sure to only fire it using the hand that you don't wank with.
Anyone know what this is? I'm at a loss. No markings but from what I can see it's a falling block breech loaded .410 or small smooth bore cartridge. Google can't figure it out.
Another shot of the breech. It's opened by the trigger guard.
>>29817971
Try a rough chamber casting with some melted crayons, seems to actually be home made from the looks of it. Where'd you find it?
>>29818017
Stepbrother got it from his grandpa after he passed. Nothing but the gun not even a case. I can't even find a similar gun on Google images.
Richard "Mack" Machowicz: SEAL, martial arts expert, TV personality, and loving father and husband has moved on today. We knew it was coming, just not this soon. I know we weren't ready for this, but you lived to be all that a man could be. Rest in peace, brother. You will be missed.

Alright, to all my /k/omrades who've played the metro games,
how do you think the Bastard Gun holds up to the STEN?
yeah
Nah
5.45 is gonna hit a bit harder than 9mm though less so than it could due to the short barrel and crappy propellant of the non-military ammo. The strange magazine of the bastard gun is probably less reliable than the STEN's which isn't even that awesome to begin with. Recoil and muzzle climb of the bastard gun is gonna be pretty awful, STEN is probably more controllable, though since both are open-bolt neither is exactly a sniper rifle.
Ultimately if you're using either one it's because that's all you've got but if I had the choice I'd probably go with the STEN.
Hey /k/ so I decided that I want to get into guns but where and how do I start?
>go to gun store
>buy a gun
>buy bullets
>shoot gun
You're not into guns.
>>29817635
go to your local wal-mart of cabela's and ask if they sell any hi-points
Probably not with imaginary vaporware.
Classic actually has some of these things. They look kind of rough, but $500 for something you rarely see is a pretty damned good price. I ordered mine. May have to reblue or cerakote it but for the price I'll risk it.
