Would Germany in WWII have been better off:

1) Focusing fully on the Tiger line of tanks

or

2)Focusing fully on the Panther line of tanks

I always hear it said that they made a mistake splitting resources between many projects, so when it comes to tanks, which should they have stuck with?

Honestly I think they should have focused more on a decent, cheap reliable tank like the T34s or the Sherman.

Is this really an issue with carry ammo? Is there any way to avoid this or are you going to end up having to keep track and cycle through different bullets?

I'm going to carry soon and want to unload/dryfire my carry gun throughout the day whenever I'm home.

Don't carry a necked caliber, like .357 Sig.
>>
>>29822515
9mm is fine? I'm thinking of either getting HST's or Gold Dots.
>>
>>29822523
It's not just caliber dependant, but how the rounds are made. Higher end stuff will have an extra crimp at the mouth of the case for.this reason, the cheap stuff wont. I would definitely research on whatever specific make and model of hollow point you plan on carrying. If you can't find anything just send an email to the company asking what they do to protect against it.

I know that in the navy we would rechamber the same round up to 6 times a day for months on end, and a few times i pulled the round and compare it to the rest in the magazine on the midwatch, and could never notice any setback.

.300 AAC Blackout Pistol, is this suitable hog gun?

As someone with a 300blk SBR, consider another caliber.

They make for fun subsonic plinkers, but if hunting is your intended usage with supers you can still have a much broader effective hunting range with 6.8.

Now if you want to stick with 300blk to hunt with, go with a 16" rifle and plan on shooting a lot of 110gr barnes. The extra barrel is worth an extra 200-300fps which counts for harvesting.

Even with the extra barrel you drop below 1000 ftlbs just beyond 100yards which is right in line with heavy 5.56 loads for energy which begs the question why you are shooting 300blk in the first place..

By comparison, 6.8SPC will push a barnes 95gr TTSX to ~2900fps which gets you to almost 200 yards before you drop below 1000 ftlbs.

Yes hogs are varmints, but you are still hunting. Bring enough gun if nothing else to help make sure you don't have to track them far if at all.

Because penetration > energy
Especially on large animals like hogs

Never have I been more certain of my belief in an issue; I have decided to make this a cause I will support with financial donation as well as lobbying when and where I think it might do the most good. I realize this is an extremely complex and emotional issue, but I believe that "Gun Free Zones" are nothing more than invitations to a bloodbath for the mentally ill or political zealot.

When and why did the US military lose the respect of the world?

Yes, it's never been well liked, but the amount of disrespect today it gets is crazy. Look at what Russia and China are doing (to say nothing of the situation in Africa and Latin America)

I want to go for concealed defensive pistol. I definitely want to go for a Glock but I don't know which fits best for concealed carry. Is the G19 too big for carrying it on a daily basis? My hands are rather large (I am 1.90m tall) so would a G26 slip around my hand when I am in a stressful situation (e.g. defending my life)?

Get both, thats what I did. But in seriousness, the 19 isn't too big at all to daily carry. I have large hands and the 26 isn't an issue for me. In fact I'm rather partial to shooting my 26 over 19. Then again maybe because I know I keep the 26 on me and the chances of using it are greater.

Got a quick question, /k/:

I have pic related, but I've discovered that none of the stores near where I live sell 9x18 Makarov rounds. I've heard some people say that it can fire .380acp, but I'm unwilling to try unless I know for a fact it can do so safely. What do y'all think? Should I try it, or should I just buy ammo online?

>>
>>29821401
safely and reliably are 2 different things

for instance you can fire 9mm through a 40 and your hands will remain intact

dont be stupid buy whatever caliber is marked on the gun
>>
>>29821401
Don't, just buy ammo online.

You should do that already, buying ammo in stores is shitty.

At any rate, this is the fate you resigned yourself to when you bought slav shit.
>>

>>I have pic related, but I've discovered that none of the stores near where I live sell 9x18 Makarov rounds.

Get a Makarov, they said. It will save you money, they said. It's "superior" to a "crappy" polymer 9mm SD9VE which sells for under $300, they said.

I'm sorry, but I can't stop gloating at your poorfag faceplant. Go ahead and try to fire .380 out of it. Just make sure the gun is in a vice, you pull the trigger with a string, and you hide behind a sturdy structure when you pull the trigger.
