although i'd gladly pay whatever those krauts wanted if they decide to get their heads out of their asses and start selling them
Thinking about picking one of these up, would it be a good buy or nah?

shot my buddy's P-09 once. wasn't bad. trigger was nice. slide took a second to get used to, but it wasn't that bad. mag was fairly hard to load, but it may have just been stiff.
overall 8/10 it's a good full-size 9mm
I've been tempted to scoop one up at my local academy.
Unfortunately I can't finger fuck it because they got trigger blocks on all their guns. But I'm sure it's fine
The price is rather attractive.
Haven't gone through with it because I am tight financially and anally
I didn't like how low profile the slide was. I reckon that it helps against perceived recoil.
You should do it, OP

Cool thanks guys, I was just looking for excuses not to buy it but I've heard nothing but good things about it so I definitely swoop one up
Thinking about getting a bullpup style rifle ... does anyone have experience with them? Pros & Cons? Ive been reading lots of articles on line about them.
>reloading seems like a bitch
Cheers
>>29842022
Reloading one with a bullet button is even more of a bitch.
AUG owner here.
Reloading one is not a bitch it's natural as fuck. They are heavy for what they are. Accuracy apparently isn't the best but is way within acceptable limits. I can answer questions about the AUG.

Why is it so A E S T H E T I C
Beside the first uses of mortars in Afghanistan, I haven't heard much more news regarding mortars.
Is the technology already perfected or what is the cause of this?
What sort of news are you expecting regarding mortars?

they can be aimed with ipads now
trajectory tables for different angles and charges are kept on-board
and the tilt sensors on a spirit levelled ipad input part of the needed data wile its screen provides a visual overlay of the other known data points

It may not be the absolute best all purpose round, but its definitely not as useless as a lot of people say.

what kind of asshole shoots a bird like that?
Can someone explain why in movies where torture is present that the bad guys always fuck up the face and everywhere else by the genitals (outside a few exceptions)?
In real life torture situations, I feel like I'd immediately go for the genitals to get someone to talk. Is there any real life examples of the same or in real life do the toturing parties tend to do what the movies do?
Depends on who's doing the torturing, but I'm assuming that you recently watched Casino Royale.
>>29841721
Correct. That movie did torture right I imagine, despite Bond not talking.

I just turned 18 and would like to own my first gun. I am looking to spend ~$500. I was looking at a handgun as I live alone in a somewhat bad part of my city for the purposes of self-defence and practice. I think I would like a 9mm and am wondering what /k/ would recommend, or something completely different? I was seriously looking at a Glock 17
>>29841553
Man I wish I could get a handfun at 18
Try a glock 27 or 29 if cc is allowed in your state, plus go to a range and try out a few models to see which one feels best in your hand
>>29841553
are you sure you can get a handgun at 18 in your state (US im assuming)? just making sure
>>29841553
Try and find a place that will let you handle them, or better yet shoot them. Find something in your price range and try it. If you like it, get it. Most modern automatics in that price range won't have any issues.
Best semi auto pistol go!
Glock 19

they are much more difficult to disassemble
and they are far less rewarding than guns
Fact: This would have been far more enjoyable to use, and far more useful in general, if you could actually shoot it in semi.

In canon, the BR55 could fire in semi, 3RB, and full-auto modes. I don't know about the BR85, but it's a fair assumption that it would keep the same fire modes.
>not posting the HB variant
I couldn't hit garbage with that in 3 but was borderline untouchable with the DMR in reach because of the lack of burst

From Today
My friend Josh was in the gunfight and did not have a gun. It started by 4 white bouncers making 3 black males leave. 1 of them wanted to take a beer home and they made him pour it out. Around 2:00am they came back and it was 16 blacks and 4 white bouncers.
The fight was to close for the blacks so they started shooting. They shot 14 times and hit 2 people. No Bouncers. When the shooting started all the bouncers went to their trucks and got guns but they never fired because of regular people being in the alley.
Josh told me 1 person slipped around and got behind the bouncers. He had either a 25, 32, or 380 he had the gun pointed to the ground. The bouncer put the gun against the guys head and made him drop the gun and leave.
Now my friend wants to buy 2 pistols and 1 pump shotgun from me. I will get him something from GunBroker probably not sure if I should sell from my private collection or not.
>>29841120
Cool story bro, but remember that before you buy your friend a gun, you'll definitely go to prison, especially if he plans on killing Tyrone and his homeboys with it.
>>29841159
he will be paying me for them. ideas on good beginner guns/calibers? maybe a 20 guage shotgun and 9mm pistols for low recoil.
>>29841120
that was a pretty legit story fellow NC bro. but, let your friend buy his own guns. mind your own business.
Can special forces choose what weapons they use? What are the limitations?
No idea but I'm mirin them pants hard.
>>29841264
Those are some pretty spectacular pants
No. Because Special Operations has its own budget under socom, they can acquire gear that's different than the rest of the military, and they can afford to buy the best of the best. But acquisition is still a high level command sort of thing. Operators may give feedback on weapons, (that's why they don't use SCARs or 416s anymore and started using block II socom m4s), but ultimately it's some bureaucrats who pick their guns.
What exactly is the logic for operators to not wear helmets?
The likelihood of being shot in the head is very small
>>29841060
they are uncomfortable and heavy and don't stop bullets. helmets are there to protect you from fragmentation and bumping your skull on shit.
>>29841072
Head wounds are the largest cause of death during war though.
The blue is going to come off some day. How sex can I fuck a makarov up?
I like it the way it is but I like shooting it too much to keep it this way.
It adds character, keep it sexy.

The area around my ass is a jungle hell that eats guns. It won't be long before it rusts no matter how much I oil it.
