Oh no's Anon kuhn :'(((
I fell for this meme.
Yeah, a 1600 USD meme. You could've bought an AUG for that money, a gun thats nearly 3x better.
Good job, faggot.
>>30012753
>tfw paid $1800 almost 2 years ago
I must say you're wrong though; the AUG is absolute shit.
I have an Endura 4 I bought a few days ago and I can't flick it open, I have to like manually open the knife. There is a lot of resistance especially for the first 50% of the open. I loosened the pivot screw but it didn't do anything.
Anyone know what i can do to loosen it up so I can flick it? I know I need to break it in but there is still a lot of resistance.
People on youtube can flick theirs easily
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGOaRihBSwU&feature=youtu.be
>>30012596
I got rid of my endura. Had it less than a month, was thoroughly disappointed.
>even after lube and cleaning, the pivot is still shit
>blade is uncentered, pivot makes it worse
>pivot unscrews itself after a few openings, shouldn't have to be constantly looking out for this or even have to break out the loctite for a new knife of this "level".
>noticeable side to blade play
>Hurr hurr spydies are always smooth and nice
Fuck that shit.
>>30012596
Spray pivot with brake cleaner to remove excess oil
Work it a few hundred times a night while watching TV or shitposting on /k/
Oil it up after a few days.
>>30012648
Every knife eeds loctote applied and you are probably too dumb to adjust the pivots.
ITT we improve a gun manufacturer
>remake DA/SA hammer fired handguns
>P38, P88, P5, etc.
>revamp the WA2000 in .308, 7.5 Swiss, 6.5 Creedmore, and .300 WinMag. for around the $2k mark
>focus more on long gun production; G43 and MPL need not apply
>focus on public and law enforcement sales in the United States
>actually make PPK's more than two runs a year
>>30012580
or buy glocks
>>30012618
GLOCK
>make a gun with a hammer
>no make it out of metal
>add a safety
PERFECTION
>>30012580
They should also make an all metal handgun that isn't the ppk. To much polymer in the market atm.
What went wrong, /k/?
>>30012400
>What went wrong, /k/?
Tank, I guess
>>30012400
It killed all the communists and then there were none left so it had to retire.
Sound concept.
Horrific technical problems.
Also, if you're relying on ATGMs as your anti-armor, you may as well just use an armored personnel carrier.
What is it about artillery that makes it "the god of war"?
>>30012397
It's good at killing people
Much kill from far away
>doesn't require you to expose yourself directly to the enemy to kill them
>pulling a lanyard is psychologically easier than shooting someone, so more people do it (this doesn't matter as much now with modern training regimens)
>cheap and simple way to bring death to a given geographical area
new pc, old laptop shit the bed and i lost all of my infographs, any pdfs and images appreciated, ill dump what i have
What is /k/'s opinion on kinetic bombardment? Weaponizing space is illegal for sure, but kinetic weaponary happens to find a loophole in this law. Although it is estimated to be extremely inaccurate, do you think the introduction of kinetic bombardment in warfare would be more devestating than nuclear weapons? Why or why not? I'd love to hear /k/'s thoughts on this...
>>30012235
my personal rule of thumb is that if something can kill more than 100 people in one shot, it is not something that people should be playing with
lets try and leave at least this one civilisation-threatening doomsday device alone, yes?
NASA actually ran the math, and it's no more effective than conventional explosives.
Thank air resistance.
>>30012235
sorry to be the most illiterate retard in this thread but what exactly can I picture as "kinetic bombardement"
I mean, I get what kinetic means and shit, but how does that stuff work? Magnets?
Fellas, I'm an 11b deploying to Afghanistan in about a week. I've got all my things squared away and have a good idea of what I'll need from other guys who have been, but I've never been deployed before and I've never been shot at. The prospect of it doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure how I'll react under fire. I fee like I'll be fine, it even excites me a little bit, but perception is often different than reality. Any other vets on /k/ that have any insight or tips to mentally prepare?
>>30012225
Yes, play airsoft a lot (reaction under fire +5)
And video games like Insurgency (tactics +10) and Amnesia (fear management +20)
Also, shoot yourself with increasingly large bullets starting with .22LR to build an immunity
>>30012225
Look man, just breath and remember that you're fighting the result of our (the US) countries invasion of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 or any other violation of, well, anything.
Trust me, I'm a Gunner's Mate in the Navy.
>>30012225
Take some extra shit paper with you.
I've heard people mention that the film John Wick is muchloved by /k/ommandos.
I know nothing about guns - what are the things John Wick did right?
>example combat scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-HSoOFdJ3s
>did right
What do you mean ``right"?
What matters is that it was bad-ass.
And he got revenge for his dog.
>>30012152
I've heard people say that the combat scenes are somehow more realistic/professional than most action flicks. And I would be interested to know about specifics.

ISIS vs Cartel (chose whichever one is relevant)
Who would come out on top?
>>30011950
ISIS would smoke OP. Basically professional, experience from Soviet Afghanistan, Iraq/Iran, 5 years in Syria, Chechnya.. BTFO
>ISIS can't operate in Mexico because they don't speak Spanish, and they'd immediately end up in a mass grave somewhere out in the dert
>Cartels can't operate in Syria, Iraq, Libya, or Afghanistan, because they don't speak Arabic, and they'd immediately get killed
>cartels continue to sell dope and get beheaded
>ISIS continues to terrorize the infidels and get droned
>>30011977
>Basically professional
You are basically on crack
Does /k/ name their guns?
ITT we post our guns and their names
>>30011890
Mark VI is a pretty shit name tbqh friendo
Fancy McStabberson
>>30011890
I just view all guns as an extension of my body, as autistic as it might sound.
So I guess my guns just have the same name as me.
Other than that, I'd like to maybe get two large caliber pistols and name them April and May.
I've just always liked the saying "april showers bring may flowers", which is also incredibly autistic to most normal people, especially given that it doesn't really fit guns in general in an obvious way, but you know.
Don't judge me, cunt.
Where can I buy a CZ-83?
I have been wanting a pocket CC gun with more than 8 rounds and this seems to be the perfect fit.
>>30011828
youre not going to be getting that in a pocket, dat ass is too fat.
I've got one in TN, planning to refinish it and likely sell it.
>>30011846
what's a good all-metal pocket gun?
I wanted a ppk originally but it has like 7 shots which is definitely not enough
Then I looked at the p83, which is good but still low capacity
Find a flaw with the FN-FAL
protip: you can't
