Alright /k/..... I need help. Here we have the Savage Scout 11 above and the Mossberg MVP below. They're both .308 but the MVP is about $100 dollars cheaper. Is it better to go for the cheaper or is it get what you pay for?

I had a close encounter with one the other day, mainly because nearby housing development has shifted the deer run through my property.

Anybody know much about Mini-14 Tactical rifles. They have one in .300 BLK that looks nice. Was thinking it would be a good woods hunting/bug out gun. Are they reliable? Good platform for .300 blk?

Could we have a facts thread about stuff people might not know, particularly new shooters. I think this could really help people particularly newer gun owners. I'll start with a smaller one.

1. Lighter grain bullets tend to give not only less recoil but more muzzle flash as well.

Hey fol/k/s, I inherited a Colt Colteer 22lr and she shoots really well. However, I'm a doofus when it comes to trying to clean it and have no idea how to go about it.
I'm planning on going wabbit hunting this weekend and don't want to take her out as the repeating mechanism began to jam up a pit while at the range.

Does anyone have this gun and if so, could you either help guide me through it or perhaps create a video?

>I can feel the bloodlust rising in me at the thought of what I'm going to do to this creature that fought with my dog
>My bloodlust isn't the only thing rising at this thought either
>I get home and my sister runs out to greet me and show me the trapped creature
>I follow her at a jog in my work clothes (cubicle clothes) across the field to the edge of the woods
