I've been wanting to join the FFL since I was little. I'm fit and have nothing to lose if I live my shit country Romania. But I have a few questions.
1. What documents do I actually need? Some say I only need an ID but I've heard non Schenghen countries (Romania's to be accepted sometime this year but I'm not sure) need to provide a passport, maybe you guys can shine some light on the matter
2. Do I need to provide any medical files or check ups or do they do the medical check there? I've also heard that it's good to provide medical consultations that you did in your country but I dont know if it's a must or not
3. Do I need to provide any other documents besides the ones stated above?
4. What are the sport tests? I only heard about the 3 pull ups and 2 km run in 9:45 minutes
Thanks in advance
can you speak french? if not dont bother.

how about you go to the website of the legion and see for yourself

Which one is best for use in camping/hunting/SHTF scenario in terms of reliability and durability
>inb4 get a gun
I'm explicitly talking about situations where your either in Europe where guns are banned or your in a shitty state or simply out of ammo for your gun.
Also there was a thread a while ago someone posted with a ketchup made logo of /k/, does anyone have it?
>>30196729
The regular one because it's easier to repair in case rope breaks and also it looks good with elf fantasy roleplays
Also the logo your talking about isn't made from ketchup........it's antman's blood

Stop what you're doing and watch this video, before you make any of the wrong decisions or buy into the hype that is modern archery. Lars Andersen has studied the actual historical texts that warrior archers learned from, and compiled a style created from accurate, practicality driven teachings. Modern archers will want to load you up with all kinds of compounds bows, sights, quivers, carbon fiber arrows, etc. These are all generic consumer products that will not actually help you grow as an archer, rather hinder you by building bad habits and reliance on them.
Seriously, don't fall into the modern myths of archery, the study is changing and Lars is leading the way, following him is following thousands of years of far more effective archers than we can hope to become today.

I need money so I can do this.
Immaturity is salvation, fuck adulthood.
Guten Morgen, /k/ameraden!
The beautiful nation of germanistan, my ancestral homeland, was surprisingly quick in issuing my 'kleiner Waffenschein' - the only carry license obtainable for the average german. It allows me to carry one blank / pepperspray 'gun' in public.
I got it because I got a small puppy recently and when I'm going hiking next year I want something to fend off eventual wolves, and there's also a home for crazy people and a refugee camp near where I live. I also wanted to make a political statement, however miniscule it might be - but the recent surge in applications for this shall issue license have stirred up the media and politicians quite a bit.
Anyway, I am now in the market for a reliable and easy to conceal pepperspray 'gun'.
I plan to load a few pepperspray cartridges, then a few cs ones and finally top of the mag with a couple of blanks, so that I have a bit of escalation possibilities. So I'm guessing at least 9 rounds capacity.
Any advice is appreciated, also regarding CC, do's and don'ts, what to look for, and general stories related to this.
Probably won't get much traction here on /k/, but I trust you. Also it will be 7 more months before I can get a real gun so this is all I have for now.

Damn son, how many rapefugees camp are there in Germany?
>>30196587
bullshit....order your huntinlicense now and get it in less than 3 weeks. Than you can buy guns as you whish.
Would never use a peppergun for anything.
When you're in the field no doubt you'll be eaten alive by mosquitoes. But eventually does the body build some sort of immunity that makes the bites, and reactions not as bad? I'm still a boot, but some of the guys in my unit have mentioned that SF types dunk their uniforms in bug repellent overnight to help with that.
>pic sortve f related
>>30196561
well it's just like building an immunity to bullets, you have to start small with .22lr
>>30196561
they simply shoot the insects
>>30196561
uniforms are coated in permathrin hence why they have a shelf life, and their only serviceable for like 6 months or some bullshit.
Theres also the old 90's permathrin bags and shit you might be able to get ahold of through supply, but i doubt it I only saw one and its just to show what the fuck it was and how to use it, but essentially its bag full of chemicals you put your uniform in and it makes it bug repellant for some time, and give you cancer.
Theres a reason why there are uniform standards in the field. Boots need to be bloused and tucked in. Blouses need to have the sleeves down and not loosened, velcro needs to be tight and the front zippered and buttoned.
The human body kind of builds its own natural deterent to insects with its body odor. One could aide in this by eating a lot of garlicy foods.
Otherwise its good ole off, or whatever the army's bullshit brand of it is that hopefully supply gets you and doesnt fuck you over.
Also when you go anywhere with bugs always bring your mosquito net.
Why does the military pay so fucking much for shit?
There's no way this shit actually costs how much they pay to make them. Like M4 carbines being $1400 each when building an AR with completely milspec parts is like $600-$700.
Or like these new TCAPS smart ear plug systems they're deploying being $2000 each.
I have no idea how much a normal smart ear plug system costs, but there's no way it could be anything close to $2k.

Fellow MNfags, anyone take a firearms class worth recommending? Looking to get gud with my CCW.
>>30196472
bump for interest, especially SE
>>30196493
Holy shit there's actually another SE guy here? I thought all the other MNfags were Cities or maybe Duluth.
Rice County reporting in. I havent heard of any class worth taking anywhere between the cities and rochester.
Hi /k/. Today is my 21st birthday and I want to get a handgun.
I was thinking about a Glock 19 or a Beretta 92FS. What do you think?
Also, how hard is obtaining a CC permit in California? Should I even bother trying?
>>30196451
>I was thinking about a Glock 19 or a Beretta 92FS.
>California
Banned. try again.
>>30196451
they made it shall issue but there are still holdouts that straight up refuse to process paperwork like San Fransisco and Santa Clara
really depends on where you live but its much better than it was 5 years ago where the chances of getting one in ca were laughable
check calguns for details

What county?
Will .458 SOCOM hollow point penetrate NIJ level 4 plates?
And do Military grade AP rounds of 7.62x54R penetrate Level 4 plates (when they are rated to with stand hits from 30/06 Armor piercing)?
>>30196426
No and no.
>>30196432
I thought the newest Russian 7.62x54Rmm have the ability to penetrate ceramic plates rated level 4.
And how come .458 Socom wont penetrate level 4 plates, or does .50BEOWULF penetrates?
>>30196467
Lack of velocity.
Energy is a measure of ONE HALF of an objects mass, but the SQUARE of its velocity.
Level III is rated for M2 ball (ONE hit). Can't be bothered to actually calculate anything since I am on my phone. For sake of simplicity, 30-06 will have a muzzle energy of 3800-4000 ish joules.
By comparison, .458 SOCOM will top out around 3500.
Now, muzzle energy doesn't tell the whole story, as obvviously bullet composition plays a factor--- but assuming all things equal you get the idea.
To get an idea of what would in fact ventilate a level 4 plate, look to some of the not only big, but fast calibers too. .408 Cheytac is pushing 3500fps with 300gr copper solids around 11k joules
What camouflage pattern is this? It doesn't seem practical but it looks nice.
>>30196390
Some type of splinter.
Look up Swedish M90.

Valhallan Ice Storm Camo. Though I have noticed Tempestus Scions using that pattern for urban camo.

Allright /K/ I want to live out all my inner Rhodesian fantasies. What's the best quality FAL I can get in America?
probably a DSA or a parts gun built with a good kit and a coonan reciever.

Charger is G2G. There is no difference in receiver or barrel between Charger and 10/22 rifle, so if you want a 10/22 SBR say no more senpai.
Tell him to kill himself if he buys Mini 14

Eh, could be worse, at least it isn't an FS2000
>PS90
Breddy not bad.

I'd take a $700 dollar Shit and Wexson AR and a case of 5.56 over a $1000 Colt any day. Based on other purchases he is probably too dumb to build his own but I digress.
