Hello how hard would you have to throw a rock to disable one of these?
How big of a rock? Thanks my friend.
Nice try Mohammed.
>>30197909
They can cruise up to 50,000 feet, how good is your throwing arm?
>>30197928
>what is climbing a tall tree
Has the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier ever been attacked? Or vandalized, defaced, damaged etc. Successfully or unsuccessfully.
I figure there's enough crazies out there somebody might have tried.
Also are those rifles loaded?
>>30204244
I saw some kids try once. Got stopped pretty quick. Secret Service roughed em up afterwords.
>>30204244
>Also are those rifles loaded?
IIRC, the guy doing the patrol git around the front of the tomb does not have a loaded firearm but IS authorized to use any force to remove belligerents trying to deface the tomb(ie, the bayonet). And since the guard post with the others is right there, he probably has a button or something up his sleeve he can press or just yell for help if needed and have a dozen more guards pour out.
>>30204244
If you go past the line, they will point their guns at you. They're loaded. It's basically the most symbolic thing and they'll gladly fuck you up.
/k/, after much finger fucking and testing out various guns, I've decided on the M&P 9c as my CCW (pic related)
Can /k/ give me a holster to go with it? Ideally
>Conceals well
>Good retention
Willing to pay up for a good holster.
I got a gun belt at the store but they didn't specifically have a holster for the 9c, just the full size. It fit okay but was kind of big, so I've decided to shop around.
>>30197619
Good concealment and retention aren't really going to go together.
DeSantis "the insider" is my favorite holster. I've tried them all.
Comptac minotaur or Alien Gear. I like hybrid holsters myself
>>30197628
Ah. Makes sense. I'm willing to compromise on retention some for better concealment.
Thank you for your recommendation
>>30197632
Thank you as well
I'll be checking those out.
I was in a car that was pulled over recently while I was in the passenger seat legally carrying a handgun. The officer asked for my ID as well, so I also offered him my LTCH just to be safe. He asked to take possession of my firearm, I said said I wasn't comfortable with that, he says I'm legally obligated to hand it over or he will be putting me in a "very uncomfortable situation". My question is, am I legally obligated to hand over my handgun in a traffic stop?
Also traffic stop while carrying stories thread.
>>30203251
asset forfeiture. they can take all your shit, but you can get it back.
>>30203251
No not at all just keep repeating "Am I being detained?" and the cop will give up.
>>30203251
>My question is, am I legally obligated to hand over my handgun in a traffic stop?
depends on state law
even then cops can come up with bullshit lawful order excuses.
Best to just do it and make a complaint with his supervisor later if he was in the wrong rather than potentially being arrested and having to deal with that bag of fun and never getting back at him.
Whats /k/'s opinion on the SIG 556? (Semi-auto SIG 550)
There isn't a whole lot of people on the internet that talk about these things... and i know no people that actually take pride in owning them. Are there any owners in here? Lets discuss.
>>30197594
I have a 550.
Its a really really nice and accurate and high quality AK.
Also rattle rattle.
Sig sauer stopped making them and is focusing on the gay ass XI
Who fucking cares what /k/ thinks? Go fucking shoot one and form your own god damn opinion. No one here even shoots
>Any last words before I blow your brains out, ya miserable prick?
Well /k/?

Way to use a movie to show horn in being in the military and talk about equipment no one gives a fuck about.
What do you think of Berettas?
A friend has one he carries on duty (security guard) it's neat, shoots well, but is heavy after a couple hours on the belt
But really fun at the range
they're nice, but not manlet hand friendly.
the slide safety has caused a good share of NDs and school shootings
What handgun would you recommend if I want the home invader to have a closed casket funeral?
Obrez, no way to make a melted face pretty
>>30197096
I thought head shots counted towards aggravated assault?
>>30197096
12 gauge "technically a pistol" is about the only sure option if it must be a handgun. RIP your wrist.
What would an actual response to something like the Second Renaissance be?
The whole movie was poorly thought out, and it seems like we could have turned zero-one into glass and that would have been the end of that.
I mean blocking out the sun was pretty fucking stupid.
We shoulda stolen their fusion shit.
>>30197015
Nukes would have worked. Blast and heat work pretty well at destroying machines. Plus EMP.
Its like saying conventional bombs wouldn't have worked against machines because they effect flesh and blood more. No. Nuking the machines would work just fine.
>>30197334
EMP protection exists, it's just expensive. I'm guessing the robots could make it because they are robots with like super technology.
>>30197015
They'd likely become robotic North Korea, except rather threatening.
Hello /k/ommandos, I have a serious question for you.
In Afghanistan some 143,750 unique personnel were deployed by the British Government (1). Of these men and women 454 (2) were killed with a further 7,436 wounded (3). This leads us to a fatality rate of 0.316% fatality rate, and a 5.173% wounded rate, for a combined casualty rate of 5.489%
~2,500,000 personnel were deployed by the United States (this figure is not unique) (4). 2,326 have been killed and 20,083 have been injured (5). This gives us a 0.093% fatality rate and 0.803% wounded rate for a combined casualty rate of 0.896%
Question: Why, when British troops are generally considered of a higher quality than their American counterparts (average infantryman, none of this 'my SF is better than your SF' bollocks) is the casualty rate so much higher for the Brits?
>>30196984
Because the brits actually get shit done and the burgers just sit in their base eating junk food all day.

Because they get attacked during tea break?
What are some good hearing protection solutions?
I never really put much thought into it until my grandpa gave me some electronic earmuffs as a gift and I realized they're actually pretty great, kind of bulky though being full sized earmuffs, are there any good earplug sized solutions that can be had for an affordable price?
Anything that maintains the sense of directional hearing so you can tell where something is around you instead of just roughly to the left or right? Minimal interference with hearing normally when no loud noises are going on, or even enhancing your ability to hear quiet thing would be neat.
I saw a Nacre QuietPro while doing a bit of research but having trouble finding anywhere that sells them other than ebay, are they good pieces of equipment?
Bump p
Electronic ear protection is the way to go. Your grandpa knows his shit.
>>30196956

What a coincidence, your grandmother gave me some muff too

you fucked up twice, son.
The idea is a self-loading handgun that can be used as a primary weapon in place of a rifle or shotgun. The weapon that was made in response to this concept, the H&K SOCOM Mk23. It's big, bulky and doesn't even have a standard 1913 rail, but it's awsome!
I'm wondering, if there are any modern pistols that could stand up to the Mk23?
A .45 caliber, da/sa semi-auto pistol with a decocker that has a polymer frame, 5" Inch threaded barrel and a capacity of no less than 12 rounds.
The FNX-45 Tactical is a close one, but I'd trade out the manual safety for a dedicated decocker.

FNX 45 comes to mind. also a couple other HK pistols

the FK Brno comes to mind.

So /pol/ weaponized their containment board. How can we weaponize /k/ to get indirect kills on ISIS?
>>30201717
by going there in person and getting direct kills
By actually getting a job and not being a NEET.
Those tax dollars directly fund JDAMs in need.

Wagecuck detected. Suck it up faggot.
NEETs watching ISIS videos do more service for the world than your daily dose of slave cocksucking.
