Well?
You've created a monster
>>30200210
Two of my leftist friends posted this to FB today. Needless to say they're both white women.
You think they'd make this same picture if the rapist was black?
>>30200210
This is now a varg thread
Is it dangerous to fire a 22 LR into the air? I have a bunch of birds that sit outside my bedroom window chirping their fucking brains out at 4 am every day.
I know that firing larger calibers into the air is dangerous because they maintain enough energy to kill someone when falling.
But the 22lr has less propellant and also a smaller projectile, could it also harm someone on its way down?
second question, would subsonic 22 be loud enough to wake my neighbors up? (I live in a rural area so not densely populated)
>>30200190
a 22lr bullet/projectile only weighs like half of a penny
>>30200190
Use birdshot for birds you idjit.
Also that image is retarded, why would the CIA go through the trouble of greenscreening a desert when they could literally go to any proper desert (because who would stop them) to film it there, at a fraction of the cost?
It was New Years, and I had only a few shots of whiskey, not enough to get myself drunk.
I decided to bring my ruger 22lr revolver out to do a little bit of celebratory shooting. It was all very safe, I fired it into the air so no one was hurt. But then when I was fanning the gun cowboy style, my stupid glove got caught in between the hammer. The fucking gun went off when I was trying to get the glove out of there and a round into one of my neighbor's house. The bitch got mad and called the cops on me. Was charged with endangerment and discharging a firearm within city limits! Bullfuckingshit.
Now I have legal shit to deal with because of the stupid flawed ruger piece of shit trash and over reacting faggot neighbors.
I mean, it was only .22lr, they fucking blew it way out of proportion, at least it wasn't 5.56, holy fuck.
Hey /k/ommandos,
I recently picked up a shotgun as my first gun and now am wanting a rifle but I'm saving for school so I'm pretty poor.
Guy posted an ad at my gun club for a Mosin 91/30 for 150 bucks.
Are they OK for under 100 yards or are they really that shit? I only do bush hunting so I don't need alot of range.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Pbquj-6MVc
Don't blame the gun for your shitty shooting skills.
They were cheap and ammo was cheap... The quality to dollar ratio keeps spreading to the point it would be better to get a polymer hunting rifle in a common caliber now. $150 isn't bad if it isn't too beat up...
>>30199996
Make sure the barrel isn't fucked
Why get the p226 over the p2022? It's several hundred cheaper and they are both 9mm.
seriously?
Dat frame... The grip on the 22X ones are a little more comfy, I think the trigger on my 2022 was a little better than my buddies 228 though... I'd only buy a trade in 2 series personally since they seem a little overpriced.
Actual Quote from instructor of this course: “Yes I mean I can tell you those stories, but like I say for legal reasons I cannot. Uh but I will tell you I have been on both sides of the gun where I have not only been the good guy but I’ve been the bad guy too. You know? So that’s a lot of times I grow from a lot of that bringing to the training what it’s like to actualy be the bad guy. You see what I’m saying? And what it’s like to be a good guy with the firearm so I look forward to merging those two so the shooter can actually understand what it’s like to be under stress when a convict… well I’m not a convict but you know a couple of more mistakes like that I would have been one easy. You know and I’m really grateful for that I had good family to make sure that I stayed on the right path. But um to be able to understand what it’s like to conduct an armed robbery and what it’s like to defend ones self against armed convicts and armed suspects and different things like that.”
>>30199776
Is that a quote from those Voda niggers? No surprise.
>>30199859
Here's some of their "training"
https://youtu.be/RVApy4MvcUo
>>30199859
>Single-shot .50 BMG rifle
>Nogunz
>Tactical SxS shotgun
What were they THINKING?
In reality At what ranges would it be effective to dual wield 2 high cap pistols? Has this ever been applies to close quarters situations in real life?
I have a feeling there are people out there that have tested this and though ridiculed by other shooters have somehow made some progress in this bullshit
>>30199661
applied*
>>30199661
Well, there's the American old West. Though, 8 was high capacity back then. Still IIRC some shootists used two pistols, alternating shots, or guns once one ran dry.
>>30199856
Pretty sure they just alternated guns. Single actions ruled the day and two hands makes maintaining a sight picture while cocking a lot easier.
Also fuck this thread is summer as hell.
I told a story about one of mine from when I was a kid in the sniper thread, figured I'd make a thread dedicated to it.
So /k/. For better worse, or until your cried for mommy, how did you operate as a child? I'll start with another story. I'll post as many as I remember. This one is very similar to my last story, in case anyone read it.
>Be playing airshit
>be about 14
>me and all my friends, and friends of friends out inna woods
>we had a fort built up on a big hill
>by fort it was a few trenches dug into the side of the hill with a volleyball net strung up to keep people from climbing in, or falling out
>had to have a safety net after....the incident. But that's another story.
>about 12 people out playing. We're sorting into teams after our second battle. We would scramble teams after every skirmish
>all standing at the foot of the hill
>talking about who goes were
>comparing welts
>suddenly my friend says "Hey who's that?"
>some kid is up in our fort looking down at us
>I wave
>he doesn't move
>"Hey come down here man!"
>He just stands there.
>one friend whispers "we left our stuff up there, he might be taking it!"
>We know the area really well
>so one of my friends says he is going to act like he has to leave
>then take a biking trail around and get behind the weird kid, in case he tries to run away with our stuff
>also to tell us if there more people
>he says loudly "Ok bye guys!" jogs away.
>We keep inviting the kid to come down
>Said we had extra funs to shoot
>he could be on so and so's team
>he looked younger than us
CONT...
>>30199565
>Finally one of us starts to bear crawl up the hill.
>it was that steep.
>The rest of us are still minding our own business or just talking.
>I start up the hill as well.
>the kid backs up, and disappears behind a bush on top of our trench
>we get up on the hill and notice he did in fact take some of our things.
>welp. Shit.
>he's gone.
>waiting on the walkie talkie for Stalkerbro (the kid who ran off to try and catch the kid if he ran. Literally stalking him.)
>Finally Stalkerbro radios in
>"Hey guys he has our stuff!"
>"Yeah we know, etc."
>"WELL I GOT HIM"
>"Dude no it's cool we don't need to.."
>Hear Stalker bro from behind a hill yelling >"STOP!"
>Then we hear
>"OH SHIT"
>Stalker bro radios back on the Walkie
>"THERE'S A BUNCH OF EM"
>Weird kid was the lookout while they took our stuff, o use against us.
>Everyone scrambled atop the hill and took up positions
>Younger kids came out of everywhere.
>there had to be about 20.
>They didn't start shooting
>neither did we
>We were actually interested in having a good little play war.
>Stalker bro is running up the trail screaming "RUN. RUN! RUUUUN"
>We hear engines starting.
>3, four wheelers appear
>"FUCKFUCKFUCK"
>they have cavalry.
>the fourwheelerdudes pick up a person with an airshitter
>then quickly ride up on our fort hill
Continued...
>>30199631
>We realize what is happening
>They want our fort.
>We had turf wars with other kids all the time, always semi-friendly.
>We'd have paintball/airshit matches to decide who won.
>always fun.
>but this shit was scary
>One of the riders told us to get off the hill, then we could try to retake it.
>One of my friends, my best friend Eric, actually
>was quietly loading his shotgun airshitter.
>he was that friend that everyone knew was slightly unstable. The guy that did things that you never would dream of doing, all for lulz.
>The rider removed his helmet and his little midget gunner (his little brother.) kept making demands
>I was closet, so I was talking to him.
>he paid no attention to my friends, and his gunnerbro was not looking either. I saw Eric slip away behind him.
>then several other friends shimmied down the hill unseen, towards HIS friends.
>Kept talking and saying stuff like "Why can't we share? We worked hard on this man."
>I watched Eric's head reappear, this time from behind the rider
>he had this shit eating grin.
>I knew what must be done.
>I got close to the guy
>then I pushed him off his 4wheeler.
>Eric jumped up and grabbed his gunner bro, unloaded his airshitter into his back, and threw him off.
>We jumped on the 4wheeler and tried to ride away.
>We had no idea how to work a 4 wheeler.
>I ended up just making it lurch forward
>It lurched forward so quick that it went to the other edge of the very steep hill.
>Eric knew we weren't getting away on it.
>So he ran up and pulled me of, then started pushing it.
>At this point little pops, clinks, and children complaining about not being ready was audible
>I started pushing it to
>it rolled down the hill
>as in, it turned end over end.
>Eric looked at me grinning.
>I was freaked the fuck out.
>We yelled "RUN GUYS LET'S GO!!!"
>We pretty much destroyed a 4 wheeler, and we all scattered.
>Eric and I ran to my house and played Halo for the rest of the night.
>be me
>around 15, heavy into paintball cause fun as fuck
>be winter time
>doing a capture the hill style of match at the local sand pit.
>This hill is a fucking monster of a hill, and all loose sand.
>I was one of the better paintball players in our group, had a penchant for goggling people, so players generally tried to address me when they saw me. As such, id usually wait for team mates to draw fire before I start in on the assault.
>team gets into big fire fight with the entire enemy team defending from a cliff side.
>nowsmychance.jpg
>begin charging directly up the hillside in a flanking move, huffing and puffing while watching the skyline.
>One enemy pops his head up, and I give him a sweet, sweet dose of paint.
>its like whack a mole guys!
> Suddenly half of their squads markers come up over the side and start blindfiring.
>I have no cover, and im not a goddamn sand spider. Cant just bury myself that fast.
I took 4 hits to the nuts with frozen paintballs.
Shit was so cash.

Magpul MBUS Back Up Rear Sight Gen 2 as back-up sights ?
Are they /k/ approved or not good enough for armchair operations ?
They're good, but for around the same amount you can get a surplus KAC 200m sight that's better.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Knights-Armament-KAC-200m-600m-Rear-Sight-/122003485672?hash=item1c67f973e8:g:XukAAOSwnNBXT1pG
>>30199555
They get the job done. If you're going to be using ONLY iron sights I would highly reccomend MBUS Pros
>>30199571
I take that back.
Get a KAC rear instead like >>30199563 said. They're pretty good.
If they would just tell people about the laser hornet they could get the media off their asses.

I call it the Cold War combo
I'll post a pic if this thread is still up when I get out of work.
>inb4 neither of those were used in the cold war
>Implying I give a shit
Dumping the few that I have. Has anyone built a list like this for optics?
>>30199293
The only guns on that list that aren't complete garbage are the Winchester 94 and Ruger M77.
>>30199325
What about CZ 550? I just like the way it looks
The great debate.
MIL dots vs MOA
MOA because this is America
>>30199212
For practical shooting and ranging, mill-rad. For static known range shooting where the extra resolution on clicks may be useful such as f-class shooting, 1/8 MOA.
annoyingly, my scope is a mildot with MOA adjustments, but i also don't know if its actually a proper mildot, because the dots certainly dont look one mil apart.
