>Can own a gun
>Just need a nihil obstat document
Limitations are:
>convicted criminals
>psychos
>people who skipped military service on grounds of pacifism
WTF?
Yes, my boys.
Italy has conscription.
Libfags pushed hard to mak sure you have an option to skip it and become a civil servant for a year instead. This is called "conscientious objection to military service" -- a.k.a. "pacifism".
But hard-core left-wing partisans and old-school socialists agreed if you renounce to serve your country, you shall not own or bear arms. Sounds like a deal to me:
>fag declares himself a pacifist not to fulfill her duty = declared no-gunz for life
Problem is conscription (military service) has now been suspended (shame), even though not abolished.
So a lot of young people are becoming disenfranchised fags and they basically act no-gunz just because.
>yfw you realize everyone older than you got at least basic military training at least once in their lives.
I mean, it is fun to think the State provides you with basic recruit training. But people hated it for some reason.
People don't like being forced to do things. I mean voting is compulsory in Brazil and look at all their shenanigans, they have like 30 joke candidates every election.
On a not related to OP's post however, how does /k/ feel about hasguns lefties? Particularly libertarian socialists and the like?
>>30271980
>Particularly libertarian socialists and the like?
Like my mum.
It's based. Because these people have actually the balls to say: if you want some kind of anarcho-socialism to work, everyone needs to be permanently mobilized -- but out of their own will, not because of authority.
So they have the following features:
>they are particularly mellow on the promiscuity side (e.g. faggots are welcome, anyone can join)
>they have the mindset of doomsday preppers: own guns, learn to shoot, grow your food, etc.
>activism means they will keep up the good fight and try to have ppl engaged without dirty authoritarian tricks = the main idea is exactly gov shouldn't force you to do things, but you are also expected to fulfill your duties as a lefties
>possibly, the most demanding aspect is that you abide by some kind of economic vision. If you don't follow the vision you can fuck off. But they will not force you to adhere with authoritarian means
So basically they are like libertarian right but without some features of the right (namely, traditionalism). However we all know that even lefties, once they create their own "freedom towns", will eventually develop traditions like any other fucking tribe on the planet since world begun.
So it is a bit like having doomsday preppers who are not particularly religious, accept faggots and degenerates, and have a positive attitude towards weed.
Basically if you are a libertarian right-winger with a sense of community, a couple of gay childhood friends and you don't mind sharing goods when emergencies hit your folk... you will find yourself at ease among such very special brand of gun-wielding libtards.
>>30272051
I like you. Let's hang out at the range and talk about how international plutocracy is eroding freedom.
Hello /k/.
Looking to buy my first gun.
I am proficient with the Berretta M9, M16, and mossberg 500/590. Should I buy what I'm used to or are there better options. I would consider myself a manlet bodybuilder with large hands.
>>30271881
>should i buy what i'm used to
if you never had a single problem while manipulating them or finding a good hand placement on the grip then yes, buy what you are used to
but it never hurt to try new things, since oyu got large hands always go for the full sized handgun and avoid the CC "design" ones wich could be way to small
for rifles you can go with everything
a better criteria IMO is if you really liked the guns youve shot before.
you can become proficient with most any gun with enough practice but when it comes down to it, you should enjoy what you have.
Cant go wrong with a ar15 and a 590.
The pistol.... You can do better
poorfag here looking for a hunting rifle in the 200 to 300 dollar range is the savage 200 any good do you guys have any other suggestions for the price?
>>30271878
Savage Axis in 308 or Ruger American in 308
Both of which have a combo with a nice entry level scope
>inb4 "Why not muh 30-06"
Ammunition costs more and youre going to be shooting a 50lb whitetail anyway
>>30271878
I've been told that savage makes some of the most accurate rifles out of the box, though I don't know anything about this particular model
>>30271890
>>30271897
awesome thanks
How did the nazi's create such advanced weaponry?
www.yaooke.com/2016/06/10/nazi-super-science-top-15-crazy-and-influential-german-aircraft-and-prototypes/
>>30271805
desperation and German perfection in engineering.
Honestly reading about Nazi helicopters and how they were basically only used for transport has me wondering why nobody really considered the potential of choppers as combat vehicles until the Vietnam era.
Does anybody know why this was? Was it because the helicopters of the day were too unreliable or flimsy to realistically survive any engagement?
.45 has killed more people than 9 mm. What's your excuse for carrying 9 mm?
>>30271799
Alright, I'll bite.
Perhaps the sum total of .45 has killed more people than 9mm.
But a single magazine of 9mm can kill more people than a single magazine of .45
>>30271799
I don't carry a gun to kill people, I carry a gun to protect my life. I would generally be in less legal shit if the person I had to shoot didn't die.
>>30271810
However 9mm is plentifully sufficient to kill the average immediate threat to life.
Are tactical pens really suitable for self-defense?
>>30271798
The penis mightier than the sword!
Oops meant to say pen is.
>>30271798
Just stab the fucker with a regular pen. The human body is not that damn hard, we get punctured pretty easy.
>>30271808
Yep some of us get penetrated pretty easily.
>Shooter used an AR-type rifle
that doesnt make sense, either it was an AR, or it wasnt.
>he used a glock type pistol
>he used a pickup truck type vehicle
>>30271744
wasn't it a Sig MCX?
>he used an ak pattern rifle
>>30271744
The left doesn't care what he used. They want to ban the most effective weapons in common use to make resistance to their one party rule impossible.
What is your hunting loadout /k/?
Mine is an umarex fuel, with a 3-9x32 scope.
I small game hunt, so I don't wear anything special, I use bird calls on my phone to lure doves.
How about you?
>>30271732
Do you eat the doves?
What does it sound like when those doves cry?
Deer: 7mm Rem Mag Remington 700 BDL with 4-16x50 Burris XTR
Clothes are just mossy oak jeans and jacket, I stack on base layers to keep warm
Turkey: Remington 1100 wrapped in a bunch of camo tape
Same mossy oak outfit for deer, but rarely any base layers. Also a vest with a dozen pockets I never and a flip down pad which is really nice. I've been using the same box call since day one.
Squirrel: Remington 504 with 4x28 Leupold
Same mossy oak getup as deer
One of best, most accurate pistols ever created. No one talks about it
Sig p210
Because it's an older design that never flooded the surplus market, few people here have hands on experience so everything there is to say is just repeated from elsewhere or speculation. Not to mention nobody has faith in the newer ones which are generally held to be a cash grab.
>>30271640
>low capacity
>costs a ton
>niche market in Switzerland
I could get two CZ-75 pistols for the price of one Sig p210
>>30271640
they're cool and I want one but they're expensive and rare and I'd probably treat it like a Rolex Daytona, use it once and again, but keep it locked up most of the time. Despite the fact they are service pistols. If only the Danish contract wasn't fed a diet of high pressure SMG ammo then maybe we'd see more of them on the surplus market.
Olympic shooting is shit, the pistols and rifles are all .22lr bullshit , all hyper-personalised peices of shit that bear no resemblance to real guns.
What events do you feel should be added, /k/?
>>30271570
My suggestions for new ways to do olympic /k/ events:
pistol event involves .45 1911s, a knockout competition, both competitors in a stage get presented with 3 .45 1911s provided to them by the olympic committee, coin flip gets first pick. They must use each of the pistols provided to shoot three times at a target. Scoring for each pistol is 10 points minus the distance between each shot that hits the target in cm (so tightest grouping wins). In case of ties, furthest hit on the target from the target's bullseye loses.
next up is the tri/k/athalon - like current olympic rifle shooting events, competitors must do a bunch of physically gruelling tasks, including:
Packing a SHTF bag in a hurry.
Running cross country into the woods.
Shooting a series of targets along the way.
The big difference is that the competitors don't bring their own equipment, and must start from a "bedded start" - all competitors begin in small beds, thoroughly tucked in, and must disentangle themselves from the bedding upon the firing of the starting nugget.
They must then quickly get dressed and pack a SHTF bag - time is added to your final result for each item not packed into the bag.
Items include:
enough MREs to last a week
a kettle
5 rolls of toilet paper
enough canned beans to please ted cruz
bottled water
a dragon dildo of unusual size
In addition to the contents of the bag, competitors must carry three rifles throughout the competition.
1 Moist Nugget
1 AKMSU
1 M1 Garand
During the run through the woods there will be three targets for the competitors to shoot, failure to hit a target will be an instant disqual.
Targets include:
300 metres target shooting with the M1
50 metres broad side of a barn using the AK
half-mile prius shooting using the Nugget.
each target must be shot using the correct gun or it results in a disqualification.
>>30271570
>all .22lr bullshit
>post Hightower shooters
You're really a fucking retard, this is why idiots like you aren't allowed around nice firearms.
nuggets for rifle competition
obrez for pistol
let's say you're a covert op, which -concealable suppressed- gun would you want and why?
PP Bizon with a folding suppressor attachment
Because fuck you that's why
>>30271574
Although it would be a very hard choice between that and an AS VAL
P90 obviously. Superior to other weapons of its philosophy. Plus it's really easy to field strip and clean. And its reliable.
"The latest findings from the Small Arms Survey show that Australia is about the sixth biggest importer of weapons, including rifles, revolvers, pistols and ammunition."
Australia no funs no more?

Welcome back to the Gun club you dingo chasing bastards.
Aussies are trying. Their media and politicians are completely one sided against them.
Not bad for a 20 year old aus fag. Bro's got a Baikal MP-446 Viking too, pretty average so you guys aren't missing out on much.
sup k
Eurofag here, soon enough i'm going to buy my very first firearm. A pistol being more specific.
The gun is going to serve as EDC plus i'm going to shoot it every sunday to practice situational use of a handgun.
I'm probably gonna use it in competition too, but that's not the main goal.
What would you guys recommend?
It has to be reliable so i can trust it with my life.
>>30271164
What cunt, what price range?
Bearing in mind that anything we tell you to get is probably going to cost double what it does here.
Where do you come from and is it legal to carry there?
Let's say that i have 900 euro for that
So, I'm doing some reserch into infantry loads.
In 1944, Australian infantry marching order, everything a soldier would need for three days, weighed in at fifty five pounds.
In 1986, the first gear I was issued with, weighed in at thirty kilos.
2006, it was up to forty two kilos.
2016 and weighing my body armour, helmet, pack and all weighs in at fifty two kiloS.
I have access to all the uk army, USMC, us army, French army, German army, Canadian and Brazil load caring studies and they are all saying the same thing:
Grunts are carring too much.
My question is, do YOU think you are humping too much?
Forget the macho my pack weighs more than yours bullshit, I just want an honest opinion on the weight infantry carry.
Why are you on 4chan in what must be your late 40's
>>30271033
Fifty one.
And I'm here because I'm asking in every forum I can find to get a wide range of opinions before I set up the defence survey.
>>30271038
defense survey huh??
got any land 400 info
Thinking about building a retro style AR. Does anyone know if there's a site to buy an A1 style upper with a brass deflector? Apparently DPMS used to make a C7 repro but I can't find anything.
