Why didn't the M3 become more popular in the civilian market?
>>30278027
Bump for interest, you would think they would make at least a pistol version...
>>30278027
Because of the NFA.
What do I win?
because it's a cheapshit open bolt subgun. Same reason the STEN isn't popular, all the virtues of the cheap open bolt gun are gone when you adapt it to be legal.
I have an AR with a carbine length gas system. My understanding is that in general, carbines are over gassed. Does anyone have any experience with the Seekins precision adj. gas block? I like what I've read about the JP blocks, but they're twice the price. If it's worth it, then I'll go that route, but waste not, want not. 4choad won't let me use the pic I have of the gas block, so pic not related
just buy a stiffer recoil buffer spring anon, it's way cheaper.
>>30277825
>>30249566
Try the QTDDTOT
Or an AR general.
Also like the other guy said, study your buffer weights and spring weights, come up with a combination that works for your AR.
Also, check a AR ejection diagram that will show you based off of the degree of your case ejection if your gun is over or under-gassed
>>30277907
I thought about it, but it seems like a half measure. Also, in case of fouling it'd be nice to be able to turn the gas up. And for speed shooting it seems like it would reduce time to get back on target.
Good day, /k/omrades. Today you get to see a weapon I made a few months ago out of boredom. It's a thin boat anchor bolted/taped to an axe handle. It can take down a door in less than 5 swings at MOST.
>HeresJohnny.jpg
I don't know what I'm posting this for, but any thoughts? Is it useful? Can I improve it? Cheers /k/
Throw it in the trash and by an axe.
Put a mini 4 winds shotgun at the end of it (kind of like where the spike would go on a pollaxe) and use it like a Masterkey.
>>30277837
I want a bigass explosive breaching hammer. Like King Dedede's mallet but instead of a rocket it's a giant recoilless rifle
Ivan has learned some marketing tricks from his cousin Ezekiel
I miss browsing through 4 racks of cosmoline soaked mosins at cabelas for $99..............
>>30277618
A new production nugget goes for close to $1000 over in Russia. Ezekiel is jacking up the price on Ivan's old stash here in the states.
>got my shitty izzy refurb for 99 plus tax like 5 years ago.
>some queer is going to pay close to 400 for a shitty molot refurb
On the one hand, i want to laugh. on the other, i want to cry.
These fuckers got a petition up to ban the AR-15 from civilian ownership
Counter sign on this one : https://petitions.whitehouse.gov//petition/disregard-petition-ban-ar-15
Bump for importance
so what sporting rifle should we gun for in the next 6 months?
>>30277568
they arent going to take this petition seriously because we signed one to build a death star kappa
Whats the best way to weaponize food ?
i would say that a few pounds of frozen soup might be enough to kill someone if you hit their head with it, does anyone have a better idea ?
How about boiling hot soup?
>>30277181
you would need much more boiling soup to actually kill someone, but it may be usefull if you just want to defense yourself.....
>>30277114
Frozen fish
Do you adhere to any or know of them?
I've heard things like Charms Candies or Apricot's bring bad luck.
>>30277109
What military is that? There haven't been fucking Charms in rations for decades.
>>30277109
superstitions are for communists, I'm here to do a job
>>30277127
OP was just watching Generation Kill, that's all.
Ok so there have been lots of calls for gun control in the United states, not just recently but for years. These range from all out gun bans to simple psychological evaluations and basic weapons training.
My question to you /k/ is whatwould you say is a reasonable price to pay for a gen 3 glock 19?
>>30276969
Something around $500, depending on where you live.
>>30276985
Really depends like anon said, I live in Commiefornia and mine ran like $550 after all of our stupid fees and DROS
New, $500.
Used, $450.
Alright /k/ I'm thinking about getting a sks. Any tips on getting one?
I'm thinking about a Yugo one.
>>30276968
When I got mine I went ahead and saved up the extra $100 for a Russian.
However I lucked out and got one at a gunshow for $430, when the normal price for a Ruskie one was $500+.
>>30276968
The Yugo is the perfect starter SKS.
Very fun to shoot, don't fag it up with aftermarket bullshit.
>>30276968
Get whatever the hell you want. Type 56 are good build. If the stock is beat just know it can be replaced real fucking cheap. Make a big deal about it being beat and shave off a couple bucks. If you know how to wood they get as cheap as $25.
Looks like the Adler A-110 just got a serious competitor , even though this is a little bit more expensive , I am definately going to be ordering a Pardus LAX 12.
>>30276947
do you guys have a name for who banned scary(thanks hollywood) pump actions in oz?
Howard?
I mean of all things the hunting pump shotgun was banned.
Did you guys use more O/U for hunting in ozland and didn't have a strong ownership to protest the pump ban or is it all really based on shit your pols saw in a movie?
>>30276947
They have been around for about 6 months and there is also a 3rd brand availablefrom Qld Gun Exchange.
They are all made in Turkey and all basically come from the same factory. I have the Pardus and Adler & the barrels are engraved and printered with the same fonts, colours, etc. Its the same thing.
What the main difference is the action. The Adler level is much larger and takes the entire action. The Pardus only moves the action.
Check the videos on Ozzie reviews for the real world comparison
tfw no addler in america
I live in Georgia and have been considering my options for bugging out. It's about 100 miles to the end of civilization. There are places within 10 miles however that would work nicely as exclusion zones, assuming I could secure them.
My question is, what kind of vehicle do you think would be best for moving these kind of distances. I was thinking a dirtbike with extra fuel tanks. It's lightweight, simple, easy to hide, and able to go where cars cannot.
>>30276903
Maybe a Yamaha rhino, it's 4x4, can have a windshield, can go through small rivers and lakes, reasonably priced if bought used, and doesn't need a gas oil mixture to run. It's smaller than a truck to and you have a place for guns and ammo.
>>30276903
dual sports
>>30276903
Get a Suzuki Samurai. Light af, offroad capable af and will give you more storage room than just a bike.
Only down side is fuel consumption, but the storage outweighs that imho. Living on a bike's load of supplies would not be fun in any way.
So Monzano mountain, the giant enduring stockpile (read nukes) and other fun shit storage place is on fire.
I live like an hour away.
What in the shitfuck do I do?
Pic related, smoke plume from my backyard and I'm like 20 miles away and it's still massive.
Posting from phone, apologies in advance
grab sks
go inna woods
>>30276900
RIP OP, you are two damn close the blast won't get you but fallout will. If you go ghoul I am looting your funs.
>>30276900
Go get pics up close. When MP's ask what your doing scream CHEEKI BREEKI and run away.
Ok /k/ how fucked I am?
>>30276881
What's in the ruck?
>>30276881
Not at all, you on't live in the US.
>>30276881
Tovarisch looks to have little ammunition. What else do you carry in backpack?.
Can we have a carry etiquette discussion?
>>30276842
I'd say that you carry chambered but with the safty on.
That makes the most sense to me.
I doubt Standby McShootyFace the Mugger will wait patiently while you rack the slide.
Carry at whatever you're comfortable at, that matches your skill level
>>30276842
You're one dumb fucking memelord OP.
Of course you carry with one in the chamber.
Holy crap, look at this SPECTACULAR CATASTROPHIC AR-15 FAILURE:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8MCiixMZGY
AKM did fine. AR-15 BTFO yet again!
>>30276751
good job, this has happened to the ar15 for almost 50 years now. only SOCOM has standards high enough requiring rifles to fire underwater or recently submerged.
wow... the whole fucking thing seized.
>>30276751
well, that Sig MCX did mighty well in Orlando, and it was submerged in semen.
