What does one normally take with them to the range, aside from hearing pro, ammo and the guns?
I've seen people haul duffel bags full of stuff and then never open them while at the range. I get if they bring a few tools and ammo in there but it seems like they're carrying their garage with them for nothing.

I've got an ILBE assault pack (I don't bring the ruck pictured, but same set) that I use as a range bag. I keep extra mags, loose ammo, some basic tools/cleaning supplies, and my golf ball launcher attachment/blanks in there. I also have a pistol bag, obviously for carrying pistols and related paraphernalia. Most of the bags are taken up by spare mags.

This can all be done for a few hundred bucks. It will keep you and one other person alive for 100 days after SHTF, just based on 100 gal of stored water. The two water filtration kits extend that a lot. There is $100 worth of peanut butter (compact high calorie mobile), and roughly $40 of ramen. Since it has (((no nutritional value))) it will be supplemented with 450 multivitamin. Have amoxicillin 500mg x 100 count. Have many guns and ammo that is no problem. Batteries for night vision equipment and red dot sights on AK and various other firearms. Why is it that no one talks about the normies dying of thirst in week one anons? Is this a good (((cheap))) starter prep food liadout for bugging in?

I work outside on large, isolated tracts of land doing soil auger borings and would like to carry some protection on some of the more remote sites. What handgun would be best to take in conditions where it would be exposed to moisture (rain) and soil, and still be a functional firearm.
Might as well ask while I'm at it.... what is the best survival food storage mre-like company as far as quality and price go. (I've already done a little research on it but I would like some input from people on here who have actually bought some of these products)
Pic related is what I am looking at as far as a work hand gun goes.
