If you want to build top tier, you build it part by part. Right out of the box, I would choose the BCM since handguards are optional/ you don't need to deal with quad rails and shitty furniture for more dollar like DD.
Both are really good quality however. Ask yourself what you're going to use the gun for. You don't need a $2,000 ar15 (not saying DD or BCM) is if your application is home defense or just plinking at the range.
If you want ""top tier"", get an SR15 and be done with it.

Truth be told, I want the gun to be the most reliable as possible. I simply want it to be all purpose, home defense, IPSC, shooting shit at the range, SHTF scenario since i live in a exposed territory.

I put a complete BCM upper onto an Anderson lower and used DD's complete lower parts kit and furniture.
Looks great shoots great and still smells great.
I don't know what the fuck oil BCM uses on their parts before shipping them but I want candles scented with it.

I've recently watched this video on carry and noticed the bit where he talks about gym shorts with velcro waistlines instead of elastic and I use an Incog holster.

Hi /k/!
I'm a big guy, and as such, I have large hands. Big, meaty hands. Because of this, I need a larger grip than is available on most concealed model pistols.
I'm coming to you, /k/, a meager nogunz pilgrim, looking for the best fun to purchase with my hands in mind. I've tried some sigs, some smaller glocks, and they just felt like toys to me. Couldn't get my pinkie around the bottom. I want to be very picky with this firearm as it'll be the first that I will own.
Any suggestions? Anyone else with big, meaty claws? Does weight really, really matter in the long run? Will I just be leaving the fun at home because apparently muh 3lbs of steel is too much for my big, meaty claws?

I'm getting my concealed carry as soon as I turn 21 next week.
What gun should I go out and buy to celebrate the occasion. I'm thinking either an HK USP compact or a Beretta 92 compact. I've always liked target practice with a friend's 92, but now I think I want my own. But the HK is also really fucking nice.
What do you guys prefer to carry? Post favorite carry pistol.

P239 maybe? Not well versed in CZ's but they have some nice stuff. Do you think you can conceal a full size? There's a lot of options for that compared to compacts and subcompacts.

Depends on how neutered the equipment that the west provides is. I think the only things the west supplied them is artillery locating radar, some hummvees, and an mrap variant. The US/NATO is probably only there to help train the Ukies in tactics and shit like that.

I think I understand what they're going for. So is this system seems to be for pirates who swarm in PT boats. You have long range ASMs, but what about short range missles (<1 km)? I guess this system would solve that. You can fire a dozen off at a time from a ship and kill six in short succession. Then mop up the rest with melaras/ship security.
If I'm wrong, correct me.

Doesn't a ship only have 1 or 2 of those carousels? If they want to have enough missiles for a swarm they will give up on their availability to launch chaff and other goodies.
Also the Javelin is good for taking on one or two threats, not a swarm. It takes to long to acquire a target and can only go after one at a time.

Does /k/ support universal gun safety classes?
Where I'm from everyone had firearm safety during 6th grade. It was practically a prerequisite to graduate. The local sheriffs came in and showed us how to properly shoot and maintain everything from their own sidearms to muzzle-loaders. Gun violence in the area that I grew up in is essentially zero. When I went to school in an urban area people thought that it was weird that I've shot, let alone owned guns. Why not teach kids to respect firearms and get away from their idea of guns that they've developed from the media?

Definitely. I am all for everyone having a gun, but they have to make sure they know how to use it.
Like, when you want to drive, you have to get a driver's license, right? You have to pass a test proving you can drive. And when you want to drive bigger/different vehicles (semi trucks or motorcycles) you have to take a special test proving you know what you're doing.
I think it's entirely reasonable to have the same requirements for gun ownership. A basic license gets you semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, and you can get specialty licenses for handguns or automatic rifles.
But as soon as you say the words "gun control," republicans shit a brick and won't stop screaming "muh constitution"
