What are some decent iron sights for an ar-15 that aren't Magpul Mbus?
Just do the carry handle sights with the wide aperture, they're fantastic
for fixed, lmt or DD. for folding, i really like lwrc skirmish sights. theyre like troys but better made, rounder edges, and a better rear aperture. the only issue is finding them on sale, i wouldnt pay full price on a set but around $150 is good.
griffin tac, spikes tac, and scalar works have their own sights also but ive never used them.
i thought you said no mapgul pro, in which case, magpul pro. this vendor has them for sale all the time, just wait

how does /k/ mount their guns to the wall? i stuck Allen Wrenches in my wall
>>34824382
take a damp cloth and clean the wall. also, why did you space them out so much?
>>34824392
does it look weird spaced out?
>>34824417
Do you have autism?
My first gun is pic related
Very happy with it
Want another
What to get?
>>34824376
a revolver you can conceal carry
I would say a decent automatic in something like 9mm or .40. Maybe a 1911?
What loads are you used to shooting in your revolver? If .357 I would say to get a .45 of some sort.
Good first gun. I recommend a solid fun automatic, like USP-C 9mm.
Can we have a WW2 pictures thread. Putting in some i have myself.
>>34824236
>>34824236
Germans at some place. Probably Eastern Front.
>>34824236
GI's take cover behind a tank. Western Front.
Why aren't jackboots commonplace in uniforms anymore?
Weren't jackboots originally made for riding horses?
>>34824216
leather
>>34824240
Yeah? Leather is awesome.
>Be american
>develop the GPNVG
>Be russian
>the only NODs you develop are shitty gen 1's and gen 2 tanker goggles
why can't russians into NVGs, /k/?
*heils hitler past midnight*
>>34824075
Speaking of NVGs, is there anything helmet-mountable worth having for under $300?
Is gen1 tech better than nothing?
>>34825056
Gen 1 is shit my man
Does anybody know where you can still get a quality WASR-10?
Specifically talking about armory marked recievers, with a date between 1964 and 1976.
Ive been looking for nearly 4 years now, and they are GONE. The gun shops carry strictly shitty cookie cutter armalite rifles now, and the gun shows dont even have them. Ive considered ordering one randomly from an online source, but I want a nearly perfect one. All these fudds who offer them with stock photos have no attention to reciever over riveting, and bent sights/gas tubes, and im not prepared to spend 700 dollars on a piece of shit.
>inb4 "Buy an autistic AK copy in the form of : IO Inc, century remake c39, NPAP, ZASTAVA, RAS47, Or arsenal synthetic" shit.
>>34824065
Sportsmansguide is selling WASRs for like 550 right now.
>>34824138
Thats about standard for any WASR.
I can find a non armory marked one for about that much.
Again, these stock image wasr sellers scare me. None of them have a clue what theyre dealing with
>>34824138
Taken from the review page - NOT THE ORIGINAL WASR10 RIFLE.
ITS ONE of those butt fuckin ugly blonde barbie rifles. Fuck those things, theyre cheap crap.
What does /k think about the
North american arms 22 magnum revolver?
The local gun shop has one like this for 200 bucks. I like them because of how ridiculously small they are, however another 200 dollars and I could get a larger caliber, yes I know.
Im also not a fan of 9mm. At all
>>34823950
Why don't you like 9? Because it's popular? Because it's weak?
Well, hipsterfaggot, 22 is weaker and more popular. Lucky for you, you don't actually need a gun, just buy whatever
>>34823950
I had one and it was a real challenge to even be able to hit a target consistently at 20 feet. That little nub of a trigger requires you to focus on pulling absolutely straight with microscopic precision.
>>34824411
It's much better when you're a Manley and have baby hands
https://www.cerberusdefence.com/collections/swords
why do these swords even exist? sure they look cool, but nobody actually believes that theyre useful... right?
Because humanity his reached its apex and everything going into making that sword would have been a miracle a couple hundred years ago.
>materials extracted from the earth by machines and not slaves doing backbreaking labor
>materials smelted with a speed and consistency that even someone who spent their entire life as a smith could not hope to match
>able to be repeatedly made to an exact design, possibly hundreds or thousands of times in a day or week
>all of this for something that an average person could afford with a few hours at work, an entire 8 hour day at the absolute most
In my opinion, best design of sword ever forged.

kinda wanna buy one now, even though they probably arent that good
Hi /k/, new gunowner here. I've been trying to file down a magazine so it fits my tapco russian SKS for over an hour. Not sure what the fuck I'm doing wrong. I might've fucked it up but I have a second one at least.
Been referring to this www.tapco .com/pdfs/instructions/SKSMagFiling .pdf
Does anyone have any suggestions? I can upload pics if needed
>>34823793
>Using Crapco on that poor defenseless SKS
Just put one in the chamber and shoot yourself, Bubba.
forgot to add: when I slot the mag in, the bolt won't close.
>.357 Magnum is the best handgun cartridge bro!
>It's got stopping power!
>Oh, I don't actually carry .357 Magnum though, I carry .38 Special +P.
.357 Mag is so good that no one wants to carry it, what a great round.
>>34823455
ok i'll take the bait.
did a .357 touch you inappropriately as a child?
idk what your problem is, .357 magnum is the only thing i've ever shot out of my .357 magnum
>>34823455
Did yours come in yet? Doing any cool shit to it? How'd she shoot?
>Glock fags btfo
>>34823321
too poor maybe next year.
>>34823332
How much do the standard models cost?
>>34823332
Just wait anon, I got my vp9 last year for less then I got my g19.
>tfw my home defense weapon is a bow and arrow and a baton
>>34823252
Load the bow and hold it in place. Build a trigger mechanism out of wire and a pedal and attach it to your foot. If you go onto your toe your bow will release itself and hit your attacker in the groin. After that use the baton to bash his skull. Attack a laser to the side of your arrow to see the general direction of your flightpath.
>bow and arrow
>not a crossbow
>>34823252
Spear
what does /k/ think about the new ArmA 3 DLC? http://store.steampowered.com/app/571710/Arma_3_Laws_of_War/
>>34822524
Never heard of it and didn't know they had a new one out but I'm buying it none the less. Even if I'm not going to do anything with it. Don't even think I have ARMA 3 installed right now.
I support the shit out of Bohemia as they are the only ones making a halfway decent ground focused combined arms military sim. And they constantly improve it.
>>34822610
If you just want to support them buy the pre-order DLC bundle. Comes with this, jets, tanks, and the tac ops DLC and you'll get access as they come out.
This DLC doesn't really seem with it but I'm with you on just paying to support them.
>>34822524
This is the kind of expansions packs that I have wanted them to come out with. This is most likely on par with BAF and PMC.
They fucked up with the tanks, jets, marksmen and helicopters DLC. They should of made them into one big DLC and named in Combined Arms or something.
Post em, discuss em, love em.
Im fairly certain the sp01 will be my next pistol purchase
I've been craving a new SA pistol, not sure if I should get a 75 SA or a nice Hipower
>>34822551
Do it, I just got mine in a few weeks ago and it's quickly become my favorite gun. It's stupidly easy to shoot well.
