Help me decide, 75b, 75b compact, or sig 229 e2.
I like the feel of compact better in my hands. And the nitron finish on the sig doesn't look as nice as it could be for that money.

So, continuing from last night (I went to sleep and the thread died before I got up). Topic was "should I use a 7.5" barrel or a 10.5" barrel for my HD pistol AR build. I'm looking at running 5.56 with 55gr or less varment/LE ammo. Haven't completely ruled out using 300blk though. I live in an apartment right now so over penetration is kind of a huge concern for me as I don't want to accidentally kill or maim one of my neighbors. Some people were talking about using a .45 or 9mm gun. I've done that in the past. I'd feel more comfortable with .45 as I've seen what it does when it hits wall studs and I'm comfortable with it. I've also seen what HP 9mm does and it has way to much over penetration. I really don't want to use it were I'm at right now.

Lighter grain 5.56 tends to fragments upon hitting drywall a shit load better than 9mm. We encountered this in Iraq when doing raids. We found that 5.56 had something like 30% lethality after going through a wall and that's even if it made it through to the other side at all.

I was painting something in my dads garage today and found this here knife while rummaging around a bit. I remember whaking bushes with it when I was a kid. Idk where it's from or if it's trash or not. I think my grandpa brought it from somewhere but I might be wrong.
Anyway, I'd like to restore it. As you can see it's pretty dirty but there doesn't seem to be any rust. The edge is very dull tho and the grip is kinda loose, I can move it around aproximately 1-2 mm.
What should I do? Can anyone identify it? Is this thing worth anything? If not I will just use it for home defense.
I'm in germany btw.

Not sure what it is, really, but I like the blade shape, looks like a fine chopper. How thick is the blade? The black part of the grip looks wonky as fuck, but the bird is kinda cool. Take a look at the bottom of the knife / atop of the bird's head. If you see something in colour of the blade metal, it could be that this is the tang of the blade. If so, you're golden, you can tighten the assembly by just putting the blade in a vice (use some wood or heavy cloth so you don't scratch the blade) and smash the tang a little like you would with a rivet. If not, well, no helping you there, really. But you still could take the hilt off and make a new one and keep using the blade.

It's pretty thick, around 3-4mm at the back. Very sturdy.
On top of the Eagle is what you described, so I think the blade actually goes all the way through. I will try your suggestion to tighten the grip.

I'm a retard and stripped out the screw holes for the scope mount on my 10/22 receiver.
Is there anyway I can nigger rig a solid mount, or am I doomed to buying a new receiver / getting this one re-drilled and tapped.
