I remember a while back someone posting that this dude from the movie Sicario was actually an operator or ex operator. Can anyone confirm?
he is former cia, got burned in florida by the agency
>>30484079
Ah yes, Jeffery Donovan
Majored in drama and operated a city bus for awhile.
>>30484096
Not op, but I would like some sauce on that claim
>what to do in order to get disavowed by the cia
post best innawoods stories, share your new ones and more
bonus points if story is original
also anyone know any good /xk/ movies
Bumperino, I guess.
OC from when I was younger

aaand I forgot the pic
/k/ quick. My buddy pulled the hammer back on a revolver and it won't release or fire. It's old and he was fucking around with it and yeah we're retarded. Please help just get the hammer back even if it means firing the thing, but the trigger just won't pull rn.
>>30483883
Have you tried pulling the hammer back further? Could be a half cock safety. What make/model is it?
>>30483883
that don't look whachacallit? real
Wiggle the hammer and trigger together. It should release. If not, take the pin that holds the cylinder in the frame out. Then have a gunsmith replace your bent hand.
>decide to build an AR and head over to my LGS for a lower
>they've got a bunch of Spikes Tactical lowers in stock
>they are all like pic related
>some autist was buying their "punisher" model when I came in
What do you guys think of these? I was hoping for something basic like their spider logo but I may be stuck with "parley", "plunder", and "arrrr" on my AR since everywhere else is sold out due to panic buying. They've also got the pirate lower with pictogram bullets for the fire selector, so that may not be too bad.
pirates better than cockspider
>>30483811
>What do you guys think of these?
spike makes good guns but their marketing is lame as fuck. I own a regular spider lower on a spike midlength. That, the crusader rifles and the gay ass punisher/fuck you jihadi bumper stickers that came with my gun.
If anything, get the honey badger logo.
>>30483811
I think it's kinda silly but the pirate lower is fun as fuck, and only autist on /k/ pay attention to roll marks.
>modular frame grip size
>striker trigger that isn't shit
>can change from a fullsize to a subcompact with only one gun and keep consistency of the trigger pull
>has a little known standoff feature build into the gun
>ambi controls
Where were you when you realized the 320 is literally the best handgun out in the market today?
>>30483632
this post is your opinion and your opinion isn't fact
thinking about buying one in 357 meme tbf
I like the p320, but I like shooting the p250 more.
my grandpa just torched a $15,000 registered preban mac because it was a "gangster gun"
my uncle (it's owner) is no longer speaking to him
>>30483045
Proof or it's bullshit.
Though that might be the saddest thing I've seen all day if it's true.
if you can get the pieces back then its fine. reweld and you still have a legal full auto. or pull the sear if thats possible, those are what the atf cares about, I think you may be able to convert a semi mac with it.
>has no idea how macs work
>>30483045
Maybe your uncle should be contacting the authorities about the theft of an automatic firearm.
Does anyone concealed carry a pistol with this round?
> Huge magazine capacity
> Virtually no recoil
> Really light guns
You can get a lot of rounds off without having that much separation
>>30483033
>huge
aside from the calico, name one in .22 LR with a mag over 10 rounds.
What 22lr pistols are there?
The only ones I know of are the plinking ones and they're the same size as pistols of other calibers
>>30483033
considering ppk in .22
Can we post guns that have really busy designs?
For me it would be the Springfield XDs, since they're covered in so many different patterns and sort of look hideous.
>itt: Guns with zero appeal/aesthetic
still love my shield.
/thread
>>30482615
I still like my XD45 Compact. First gun and still is the most comfy in my hand. But it is a unappealing gun thats true.
Does /k/ like the sling ding?
its okay for a rifle that you can't install a grip on
>having essentially another foregrip on a rifle that already has a foregrip
>uwutm8.jpg
>>30484187
>lets be highspeed and remove a functional accessory that helps us stabilize and standoff the weapon against barricades
>oh shit now I need to add something to help me stabilize the weapon and standoff against barricades
The AR/tactical market is very circular if you hadn't noticed.
>>30484264
at least its not one of the worst things to come out of the market
hey k this is a shout out so recently I made some home made armour out of 3 layers of .20 inch 6060 t10 aluminum and 3 layers of .20 Sheffield abrasion resistant poly carbonate along with 40 layers of aluminum oxide sandpaper and bonded it all together with a polyurethane epoxy and covered it in epoxied canvas. what do you think it can stop and who should I send it to test it as I currently am no guns due to college
>>30482494
1.2 inches of aluminum and plastic with a shit ton of sandpaper glued to it...
That could take .308 easily. I recommend going to a gun range and renting one and then use a stick to fire it into center mass on yourself.
>>30482494
>aluminium
eh, pretty weak but i gues it could wor-
>plastic
uh?
>sand paper
What the fuck anon
>>30482547
are you unfamiliar with polycarbonate in thick enough layers it is used in bank telling glass to stop bullets and fragments. the abrasion resistant polycarbonate is extra hard, I'm not using normal sandpaper but nylon based fabric ones that are much stronger. the aluminum is hardened that what the t 10 is for
Would you shoot a person trespassing on your land/ property?
>>30482418
Well, it depends on the circumstances
>>30482429
This.
There's a difference between a home invasion and some hiker/hunter accidentally walking onto your land.
I would shoot someone if I found them to be a threat to the safety and security of my home and family.
>>30482418
If she/he was visibly or evidently hurting my family yes.
I would hate to kill them by doing so, but it's a shame that I can be sued for defending my family's life.
>anon, you don't loctite your screws?
>why?
How do you respond? Why do you insist on putting things on your guns yet you won't loctite their screws?
>>30482319
But I do loctite my screws.
things that need loctite get loctite, things that don't, don't.
scope base screws get a dab of blue, thats about it. proper torque is usually more than enough to secure 95% of parts and accessories.
I have a torque screw driver.
I set all my scope ring screws to 30 pounds.
Who's shooting tomorrow?
>Local IDPA Match
>XDm 4.5 9mm
>Comp-tac pouches
Except for my holster because I can't find the damn thing so I'm using the one that came in the Essentials kit. Which is probably the best piece of gear from that.
>>30482229
>people that shoot IDPA
>vegans of the gun world
>>30482278
I like USPSA/IPSC style shooting better, but IDPA are the friendliest group to shoot with. Besides any day shooting is pretty good.
>>30482382
I was referring to the fact that I believe it is physically impossible for people that IDPA/IPSC to fire their gun at a match until they have told at least 10 people they are about go to one.
Sup on niggers getting tatted. Going down right side rib cage.
>>30482134
dope shiet brah
I'm thinking of getting my first tattoo at 27. I've been considering for a while and have decided. What's a good price per hour or is it by size?id be willing to pay $250+ Hourly. Any tips on finding a good artist other than googling someone nearby.
>>30482247
Where ya from?? dif artists did prices. Some are better than others.
Hello /k/, I have a Mosin Nagant I'm refinishing (see the pic, left is before, right is currently). I had one or two questions if you'd be so kind as to help me out:
1) Purely opinion, I know, but should I stain it just a bit darker? Or leave it natural and just put the linseed oil on it?
2) I kinda want a scout style scope. Absolutely NO drilling on the receiver, I want to be able to put the gun back to stock within a few minutes. But I've seen the mounts that replace the rear sight. Any recommendations on a decent, cheap scope? I don't mind spending good money on optics, but it seems kinda silly on a gun I paid $99 for...
3) Anything else worth cleaning up/fixing/taking apart while I have the gun apart?
>>30482103
Why do you want to scope it? Why not just get a rifle that can be scoped and actually be useful scoped?
>>30482291
Mainly just because it's a cheap, fun gun that's dead cheap to shoot (I've got a big box of Russian surplus ammo). And also the "why the fuck not?" factor. That, and coupled with the fact that anything I do I want to be easily reversible, just more of a "because I can" kind of thing, I guess?
jmeck mount doesn't require drilling, but requires you to remove the rear sight.
